It's about a 30 minute drive from Omaha and we had no problem finding it. My first impression was that it was way bigger than I expected and totally worth the trip!! I regularly buy Baker's chocolates at the grocery store but there was so much more selection and the prices were cheaper. For example, the bag of Patriotic Mix was $12.95 while it's usually $16.99 at Hy-Vee for the same thing. Besides the chocolates they are known for, they also had a large selection of saltwater taffy, fudge, and a ton of other candies, some I haven't seen since childhood. In addition to candy, they also sold a lot of locally made food stuffs like Rotella's bread, Mi Mama tortillas, Valentino's, Dorothy lynch, salsas, dips, jams, jerky, spaghetti sauce, you name it. They even had t-shirts, hats, and a refrigerated section for various meats. It was really cute inside and a lot of places for photo opportunities. There was a bench inside and a covered patio outside with a big parking lot. The staff were quick, efficient, and friendly. The pastries stole the show, we got an assortment of peaches & cream danishes and blueberry scones! Both were perfectly sweet, dense (in a good way) and soft.
