I visited ALDI's Market looking for something to cook for dinner. When you walk up. The shopping carts require $.25 for use. A very nice guy offered me a quarter since I didn't have change. Surprisingly, they have a lot of options. Fresh fruit and vegetables. The green grapes are huge & delicious. The meats were actually affordable and decent packaged sizes. I ended up getting pork chops. They have a good selection of dry food items. They do not have many name brand items. For example, you will not find Oreos, Lays, Campbell Soups, ect. It is very clean and spacious. They offer a nice selection of frozen foods and pies. If you don't bring bags, you can purchase them. $.08 for plastic bags and $.10 for paper bags. You will need to bag your own groceries after checking out.

Great price. Cooked it in the Air Fryer & ate it for dinner. Super fresh!

The first time I ever entered an Aldi's I felt like I was in another country. Most of their products were not familiar to me. The first time I shopped, I walked out in shock. For $20 I was able to complete my grocery list plus more. As I continued to shop at Aldis I really loved the products. One day I wanted some Blue Agave syrup for my margarita cocktail & never expected to find it there. Well, even better it was the Lite version with less sugar. It was super delish on my margaritas. My favorites are: frozen vegetables, salmon, chicken and turkey breast. Also, cookies. Their wine & beer offerings are pretty good, inexpensive. They have a bunch of organic items and vegetarian prepared foods. I have not had anything bad from Aldi, except for fresh produce. You do have to look closely at the fresh produce cause at times I've found them not to be fresh. They always have new stuff not just groceries. They also have weekly specials on non food items e.g. housewares, garden stuff, clothing, shoes & much more. You must come on Wednesday as they run out all the time. Since they're always changing their inventory, if you fall in love with an item, in a few weeks you'd be out of luck. If you ask, they'll tell you it's seasonal and don't know when it will be available again. This does not stop me from going, in fact I look forward to discovering what new items they have each time. The quality & taste of food makes it a best value store for me.

Checking out this new Aldi location, very spacious and clean.

While visiting my in laws on the west side, I checked out this new Aldi location that just opened not long ago here. The parking lot is huge, and the inside decor is very similar to whole foods. The shelves are well organized with canned foods on the right, poultry in the back, veggies and fruits in the middle and milk, eggs frozen items are on the left of the store. This location is definitely bigger than our usual one that I go to on Southside, which is nice. I like that it's open with high ceiling and all the items are very easy to locate. The fresh flower selections are bigger here, they have a variety of roses to choose from. It's a nice and quick shopping place, I'll definitely come back if I'm ever on this side of town again.

I'm excited about this beer and cider selection.

I shopped at an Aldi location, or two, when I lived in Europe, but usually when travelling outside Sicily. It was usually the neighborhood grocery store wherever you went. I was happy to see Aldi come to Jax not too long ago, but was defeated when both stores that opened were so far away. The sadness is no longer, as I, now, have an Aldi within a 5-minute drive of my humble abode! Can you sense my excitement? Unfortunately, due to general responsibilities, I was unable to make the grand opening day, but got out first thing this morning to explore our brand-spanking new Aldi with a friend. Of course, on this day of days, I actually forgot my reusable bags and had to grab a paper bag, as well as a box to carry my items. Don't worry, though, the bags are in the car now and ready for the next trip! I was super impressed from the moment I walked up to the front door. A lot of the storefronts along Normandy are pretty dim and dismal, and Aldi is just the bright shiny new penny on the block. As I was getting ready to fish a quarter out of my wallet for the cart, a nice gentleman paid his cart forward to me and I did the same when I left by giving my cart to this adorable, elderly couple after I unloaded into my car. Upon my entrance into the store, I was taken with the sparkling cleanliness of the store. I started wandering the aisles and found some amazing deals on all sorts of groceries, produce, and even some general goods like backpacks, candles, and gardening supplies. I didn't have enough time to do a good shop on this trip, but I'll be back for some of the great meat and frozen items that I saw like coconut spread! YES, really. For those who are looking to stay on a certain calorie load, I spotted a few great key items like quinoa, Sea Salt or Pink Himalayan Salt with the grinder, couscous, and more. There really is something for everyone here and if you are skeptical of yet another grocery store chain, all I ask is that you try it out once or twice for your weekly/monthly trip.

Great new store. Prices are very good. Minus one star for the clutter that sometimes is evident, and the sometimes a bit dirty floors and shelves. All the staff that I have encountered are nice but there aren't many out there. There are often longish lines to check out and nobody seems to care about that. If they are out they are out, so get it while you can. They have great flash sale prices on produce when they are overstocked. They do get an interesting selection of foreign foods and in particular some german things. They make a point of having gluten free items and also organic items. I stop in every few weeks to see what new interesting things they have gotten in.

I love Aldi's and am so glad they built one on the Westside for those of us who don't want to drive to the Avenue's for groceries. This just opened yesterday and is spotlessly clean. There was a mad rush while we were there but they were continually stocking and all the workers I encountered were very helpful and pleasant. The meats, cheeses and produce are fantastic for a "discount" grocery, with organic choices. Their "off" brand items are better than you realize. Good chips, crackers, chocolates, nuts, cookies/biscuits, etc. Gluten free items were everywhere. This particular Aldi's had a nice selection of Hispanic foods and we found the usual odd German items too. (They are a German company.) Remember, bring your own bags and a quarter for the shopping cart!

I'm really fucked up about this. I just got grapes, spring mix salad, avocados, onions and tomatoes and paid 5.94, produce was 50% off maybe due to hurricane. It was my first time going.

Lots of parking. Put a quarter in the cart and you get your quarter back when you return the cart to the correct locations of which there are 2. The store has no bags,so bring your own or jist load everything bagless into trunk/backseat. The store itself is very clean. They save money by not "stocking" shelves but placing items I their original packaging. The prices are typically lower then walmart but the store is very small on comparison. Because of this fact, the availability of items is much less. The store does maintain supplies of fruit, canned veggies, ice cream and frozen items but don't expect to see 7 different kinds of ice cream. I prefer the fruit at aldi more then any store at this point. They seem to always be fresh and just right in terms of tastyness. The down side in my opinion is the way the isles are sorted. A beach chair can be across the isle from canned goods and it can be a little hard to find things but overall I enjoy shopping at aldi and will continue to do so. Is also nice being able to see exactly what is available in store via the web.

You might see tractors roll up through out the day bringing fresh picked broccoli or cauliflower. The carrots and potatoes are also grown right here, berries are local; and more I'm not thinking of for sure. The flavor and quality of the produce will knock your socks off!! County Line makes me seem like a better chef than I am, because everything tastes so good!! The fruit - berries, citrus, mangoes, bananas, you name it! They have several refrigerator coolers as well, where you can get herbs and lettuces. There are some locally made goods as well, local honey, barbecue and hot sauces, etc. The people are knowledgeable, kind and wildly efficient. The most amazing thing is their prices. The cauliflower is at least twice as large as what's sold at the grocery store; it tastes ten times better, and costs half. I have doubled the amount of vegetables we're eating weekly for less than I would have spent at the grocery store, and it tastes so good! Driving out each weekend has become a little ritual for me. I slow down, enjoy the drive, select wholesome, fresh for the week, and most weeks I get to see one of the farmers there unloading fresh veggies from their tractor and I get to thank someone who is integral to feeding my family. I'm sad when my schedule occasionally doesn't permit me to go. Good to know: bring cash, they don't accept cards. There is an ATM onsite, but course there is always a fee for using standalone machines. Such a special place, I wish them everything good.

The featured fruit and vegetables are organized in baskets or stacks, and the varieties change with the seasons. When you're here, you'll interact with the owner, who's a lot of fun to chat with. He explained to me once how the produce comes from different parts of the country as the seasons change. When things are growing in Florida, the bulk of it comes from there. As it gets hotter here and the plants wither, the produce starts coming in from Georgia, North Carolina, etc., before it cools off again here. Other vegetables (like celery) are wrapped up like you find in the grocery. They clearly haven't come straight from the farm, which may dispel the farm stand look a bit, but I actually find it a helpful convenience. It's VERY nice when I'm coming in with a recipe in mind, and I DON'T have to go navigate Winn-Dixie or Publix for that one last thing I need. Currie Brothers almost always has a supply of local honey available as well. This is a nice stop overall. You can get your veggies and fruit at Currie Brothers, pick up some fresh seafood from Kyle's Seafood next door, and if you're lucky to be there on a day they're open, grab some fresh baked bread from the bakery next door.

Currie Bros produce is ridiculously inexpensive and the quality is high (as in better than your favorite Publix). Lots of locally grown produce. Owner is great and friendly. It took me a few visits to realize that there are plastic bags hanging everywhere for you to put your goods in. As far as I can tell -- CASH ONLY. But you can stock up an entire week's worth of veggies for less than $20.
