I think I found my wine store. I love the Bogo, that gives me a chance to try other wines, I never would have thought of, or bought. I did find my signature wine. Got a scratch off for Christmas and won, cane to this winn dixie only to have the cashier look at me and tell me she don't have money to cash my ticket, didn't run my tickets didn't asked how much I had won nothing, so I asked to speak with the Managet (Richard) came out to yell me he only had $2000.00 to last him until Monday ? I dod not win that nor did I think is was responsible for a Manager to quote how much money he had in his register none the less he was less than professional I asked for his name and he said his name is on the receipt and walked away. I do not shop here much , And this is the reason , your a Lottery Retailer you should be able to fulfill your responsibilities, now on my way to PUBLIX Where they actually care about their customers . Shopping is fine here but checking out in the evening after 8pm can be a real pain. I was shopping for a some last minute items and the had no registers open. It was just the self checkout and we were in line with 6 carts in front of us. The real annoying part was a there was while I waited patiently in line at self checkout, a young man that was in uniform had checked out his friend at the customer service counter. By the time I got done with my groceries I found him hanging out in the parking lot with her by their car. Insidewas clean and carts were not in the parking lot. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or what the night I was there. But the Closing manager was nowhere in sight. read more

For the most part Winn-Dixie is a good place to go. Their meat prices have gotten quite expensive. Do you know you're going to get pretty good quality with the meat it is definitely come up quite a bit since the last decade. The employees are pretty uniformly friendly and the store stays clean. Lately I've noticed that there's not a lot of produce to be had and of course like I said the meat prices have pretty much doubled. You got to be careful and watch for those sales now. The buy one get one free sales are pretty good and if you keep your eyes out you can get most things you need on a sale like that. read more

Winn-Dixie for the winn! On the hunt for ritz crackers and Gatorade for a sick friend, I found myself at this Winn-Dixie. The Gatorades was 10 for $10 and the snack packs of Ritz Crackers was BOGO. I also grabbed a pack of V8 Energy drinks. 3 gatorades, two packages of Ritz, and a case of V8 Energy drinks summed up to $10 plus tax. During my visit, I assumed it was close to closing time because the stock team was stocking the selves with pallets on almost every aisle. They somewhat friendly but, definitely respectful or polite. The cashier was cheerful and made my checkout a breeze. read more

The meat is low quality and very overpriced. The employees are not managed and more than once I have watched them race each other through the store on carts, literally toss glass bottles into their parking lot and laugh as they shatter, stand and chat in the small area by the self checkout and cart area completely blocking the entrance, throwing merchandise at each other from aisle to aisle. Or my favorite of all, politely checking out and not getting a single response or word from the person checking you out. Not a hi, or bye, no total, nothing. They can speak however because they are talking to their coworkers the entire time they refuse to look at me. It's a teen madhouse ran by no one. I cannot stand this store. read more

The Winn Dixie in Argyle Forrest is consistently bad. The produce is often rotten but still packaged for sales. The store prices are higher than competitors . Although the Customer Service is stellar, it can not compensate for the poor produce and high prices. read more

The last time I was here they had live crawfish for $3 a pound. That's a WINN!! Haha, see what I did there? It looks like they remodeled the place and everyone was helpful. From the seafood department to the checkout. Only complaint is the restroom. I might have taken my son in there at the wrong time but it was disgusting... Won't go into details. read more

Stopped in to buy some stuff got to the checkout one register was open and a big line at self check out one big weight so I gave my groceries and cart to the manager and told him that I wasn't going to put them up and I gave them to him and left. I'm done with Winn-Dixie. read more

I am in my late 70's. Winn-Dixie has special meaning for me. From my earliest memory in my small hometown in NC, my mother always shopped at Winn Dixie. Once I finished college and married, I did the same.) Winn-Dixie always had the best beef of any supermarket. (The reason why prices are higher is because our country is experiencing a 6.9% Inflation, problems getting shipments through, etc. It's not just Winn-Dixie; inflation is in everything we do right now.) But back to Winn-Dixie - I also appreciate the Winn-Dixie owners for their generosity to Jacksonville. you can google their amazing good deeds. I give back to them in a small way by making Winn-Dixie my choice for shopping. I highly recommend your stopping by and checking them out! read more
