The first spot I went to (closer to i-85) was closing and with limited peach supply. The kind lady at this site called over to their other location to make sure the ladies there waited for me. Everyone was super nice. Food - I got 2 pecks of peaches (or 1/2 bushel), a jar of jam, and a huge cup of peach ice cream (which...btw was awesome) for about $29. This was a pretty good deal as the next day when I visited the Farmers Market in Davidson they were charging $9 for a 1/2 peck. Plus, the peaches from Lemmons were larger and better in appearance. Overall - I got some really tasty peaches that were used for some even better peach cobbler. This is my location for peaches...it should be yours too! I entered today and saw a nice variety. This place keeps a five day a week schedule and opens 8:30 am. This store is owned by the Brown family that also operates the slaughterhouse next door. The meat looked fresh and it should be under the circumstances. I did gig them one star because I've been told that the beef here is from cattle with an undocumented diet history. It seems that professional packing houses require a documented feeding history. I'm not sure if this is important; but I'd like to know before I make a purchase.
