I'm so happy that Strawberry Hill USA is finally open! I've been patiently driving by here for a couple of weeks now. These folks are number one around here in the fruit and produce arena. My wife absolutely loves these cantaloupes and so do her friends! People traveling the I-85 corridor stop here for the really good stuff! Word of mouth travels fast! Not to mention Yelp and Facebook as wonderful advertising ESPECIALLY YELP! Many folks drive down from Charlotte, N.C. on a beautiful Sunday afternoon; shop here and visit the Yellow Mall! The information in reviews and Google are misleading. The only ready-to-eat food available is ice cream. This is not a restaurant. The ice cream is excellent and they offer generous portions. read more

Delicious ice cream here with a few homemade flavors such as Peach, Strawberry and Banana. We tried the peach and it was good but I really love chocolate the best. There is also the most beautiful produce sold here. Fresh from the farm and beautifully displayed. We have two peaches we will be enjoying later. read more

Great cafe, friendly wait staff, super delicious foods, reasonably priced. Across the road is a garden market. They have everything delicious from the garden. They are noted yo be the largest strawberry producers in the area, and primo #1 strawberries. The market also has canned goods, jellies, jams, pickles, chow chow, relishes of every kind. We came here on a whim after seeing it while visiting the Gaffney outlets. We weren't sure what to expect but it far exceeded my expectations. Upon entering the fresh smell of sweet peaches was all I smelled, and I'm not complaining. Their produce prices were extremely reasonable in my opinion (they were cheaper than what I had paid at the farmers market that morning). Tomatoes were .99/lb, peaches were 1.50/lb as of 7/16/22. The back part of the store is the good stuff... the ice cream. We didn't even know they sold ice cream, so what a pleasant surprise. They have a ton of flavors of pre made ice cream and a few flavors of the homemade kind: banana, strawberry, peach, and chocolate brownie. Again, I thought their prices were very fair especially considering the amount of ice cream. Was the ice cream the best I've ever had? No, but it was quite delicious and a yummy treat on a hot day. Cute, fresh, reasonably priced produce, ice cream, and various other goodies (such as boiled peanuts, jams, and breads) can't wait to come back! read more

Came from Mooresville NC. to Strawberry Hill in Gaffney.(April 20,.2021). I saw their ad saying the strawberrys were now ready then I waited a week to drive down. I bought 2 gallons at $16. each. The berries were red but after I got home and tasted a couple they were very hard and sour. And the bottoms will need to be cut off. I have gone to Strawberry Hill for years. Their berries are usually delicious. I dont think these will even ripen. So disappointed... read more

Big beautiful fuzzy peaches! Fresh from the tree, and ready for me to ripen. I bought an $8. Bag to start with. I think I'll use one or two to infuse into some corn whiskey I bought elsewhere. I brought family here from out of town that were traveling Back home from the holiday visit the restaurant was not very busy yeah I watched the waitress take several tables after we were seated and I also watched those tables get serve before my table perhaps it's a clicky thing and it would are locals are being served before me but when I order arrived it was also wrong this was the 1st time I had ever been disappointed with strawberry. Met up with a friends here and had some fabulous ice cream. The homemade strawberry ice cream (they also grow their own strawberries) was amazing! They give very generous serving sizes and have a friendly staff. They had lots of options for ice cream and rocking chairs if you want to eat on the porch or small tables if you want to eat inside. You could buy strawberries and other fruit that they grow at the front of the store. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some great ice cream or a place to meet up with family/friends if Gaffney. read more

This is a great spot to stop for fresh fruit locally grown and while here you can get great scoops of ice cream or a pie during certain seasons and around Thanksgiving and Christmas you can pre purchase honey hams it's a one stop shop. The place to visit is the home store in Cooley Springs on hwy 11 near Chesnee it has way more with a restaurant with great food. read more

Stopped in for ice cream while visiting relatives. Ice cream was good although being out of a number of flavors. Busy day I guess. I went in the store to buy peaches. They had 2 varieties, picked from their farms. I wanted a few of each variety as I am the only peach eater at my home. The young lady would not sell me a few of each as the peaches were in bags already. I would to have to buy 2 bags, approximately 20 peaches, knowing I would only eat 5 or 6. They had bushels of unbagged peaches in the room. I already bought 5 ice creams and had other items to purchase. i tried to buy a few peaches and she refused to sell them. I asked for the owners number and called him Mr Cooley was surprised at what occurred. He asked me to go back in and he called another worker to fix the service issue. I proceeded to purchase another $16 of items. Hopefully an isolated event because this is a COOL place. Mr. Cooley, i will be back. read more

I see that Deborah mentions strawberry ice cream! Darn it. I didn't get any. I wasn't even thinking about that. You can grab buckets of strawberries, of course. However, we thought they were over priced. I was interested in some of the breads - blueberry, cinnamon raisin. However, my friend didn't want the same ones I did and it was going to be too much bread for me! So I decided not to get any. C'est la vie. The ice cream is delicious! And a reasonable price. There are over 12 flavors. You can get cone or cup. And they do sundaes and strawberry shortcake!!! Yummy! The staff is super friendly!!! There is a limited amount of sitting inside but you can always go outside and sit in a rocking chair. The atmosphere is simple. Plus you can get plenty of fresh veggies here too. read more
