I went with my family, and we walked around the outdoor nursery for a little while. My one year-old had fun playing in the gravel. I do not know much about the average cost of plants to know if the deals were good or not, but the plants themselves looked healthy and vibrant. I shopped for some groceries inside and was honestly disappointed to find so few local products. Because it is a farm market, I guess I just anticipated more things from local farms. I definitely found some! Just not as much as I was expecting. And then I was shocked at some of the prices. I understand being a local business can be tough and expensive, but sadly the prices were high enough that I I don't believe I would go out of my way to return, but would stop by for some produce if I was in the area. I will say that I bought one of the best watermelons of my life. It was just a quarter wedge, pre-cut. It was perfect in every way. My baby and I ate the entire thing in one sitting. They also had some produce that is not as normal to find, such as yellow, zucchini, and passionfruit. I grabbed a yellow zucchini because it was big and robust and bright yellow, and I had never tried one before. Oh! They also had a good price on beets-- which were legitimately three times the size of those at chain grocery stores.

The food quality is better at Aldi due to it being a German/European store. I can't shop here without buying their delicious Belgian chocolate. Christmas is the best time for chocolate here for obvious reasons. I don't stress about the long line at the cashier because they move them through quickly. The store location is great. I'll shop here again.

Rude and very poor customer service…read more I called Barn n Bunk this afternoon 10/09/18 and asked if they sold hay. Hay and straw was the response from the girl. So I drove the 10 miles to the store. Upon arriving I went to the register and asked to purchase 1 bale of hay, paid the $6 price and was told it was out by the fence. There was only straw by the fence so I went back inside to say there was no hay only straw, and now the girl told me they only sell straw! I reminded her that I had asked for hay in the first place so I asked for my money back, then I returned to my truck to leave. Before I left a man approached me and wanted to know what was going on. I told him about my phone call asking for hay, and that that was what I asked for before I paid for it. He said they have never sold hay, and she would never tell me they had hay.(which she had already gladly accepted my payment for anyway) The man(owner?) also said the girl was his granddaughter and he "would always take her word over anyone else." So he was calling me a liar. I told him his "trust was misplaced" and I left. This is reason enough for me to recommend too all of my friends to avoid doing business there. I know I will never go there again.
