Tell me you're in your thirties without telling me you're in your thirties. We had to buy produce not from the stalls of local farmers filled with fresh produce at a great price that encouraged us to venture out, no, we had to get it at Kroger. And fresh flowers from a sweet woman who runs Jaybird Farms and makes beautiful wreaths out of dry flowers, no, I had to get those at the grocery store too. Ridiculous complaints, I know, but I don't care. The Loveland Farmer's market is awesome. There's an eclectic mix of vendors from all over Southwestern Ohio. Produce, bread, baked goods, tea, coffee, knife sharpening - it's got it. Most vendors accept cards and there's a great system in place for those who don't that is cheaper and easier than getting money out from an ATM. Plus, you get to walk around licking a Street Pops popsicle which makes it all the better.

This has been voted one of the best markets in greater Cincy and I can see why! These guys work…read morevery hard each season to obtain great vendors and put on a very organized and well run market. During the start of the 2020 season is what put me over the top with 5 stars. They were determined to start the market as best they could. They set it up so it was pre-order online, and drive thru contactless pickup. While this limited some of the vendors available, as not all have that kind of technology, they did the best they could to continue with safety. I took full advantage of this and was very pleased with how it went. Now that things are opening back up they are again doing a walk up market, but still with the option to pre-order and pickup. The vendors are quality and all very passionate about their products. They really have everything from produce, meats, eggs, dairy, plants, cheesecake, pastas, bath products, bread and baked goods and so much more! Some of my favorite vendors are Blue Oven, Five One Three Bagel, TS Farms, and Jaybird farms. Check it out whatever way you can! The website and social media stays updated for what vendors will be attending!

THE SHORT VERSION Wednesdays 3:30-7PM @Summit Park…read moreBring cash There are a few dozen vendors, convenient for a mid-week stock up. THE LONG VERSION The Blue Ash Farmer's Market runs Wednesdays 3:30-7PM May-Oct (for 2016). Plenty of parking available. Chill live guitar music in the background. The market usually has one food truck (the truck of the week is typically posted on their Facebook page). There is also a Streetpops cart, popcorn, and La Terza coffee. The Goods: Raphael's Pizzelles offers Italian cookies, including gluten-free Blue Oven Bakery has a tent, there is often a line but the wait is short. There are baked sweet breads and desserts, a quiche/soup/salad stand, cheese, and sauces/salsas. Several tents sell local produce. There is one stand selling eggs, chicken, beef, and pork. All of the meats are frozen, vendor is cash-only. You can also find honey, handmade soaps, olive oil, crafted goods, and pet food. Negatives: It would be nice to have one more food truck. Though the parking lot location is easiest for vendor setup, the interior of the park would be a more linger-worthy spot. My favorites are the hazelnut pizzelles (awesome with coffee), squash pizza crust, and Webb 'bacon' (sliced but not cured pork belly). Yes it's small, but I like it that way! Large markets are fun but can take hours or feel rushed to see/buy everything. Ain't nobody got time for that on a weekday. Stop by and revel in the opportunity to add deliciousness to your Wednesday.
