Maybe I'd like this Trader's Joe more had I not visited this place a day before New Year's Eve. The lot was busy with folks coming and going. I don't enjoy shopping with so many folks. This plaza also had a Whole Foods across from this store. Maybe I need to return when folks are more relaxed and less frazzled. I hit the grocery part of the store first. I love the bags of snack-sized apples. They are perfect, yummy, and crisp. There were bags of blood oranges. I decided to get a bag. They were also yummy. Lemons are cheap at Trader Joe's. I got a couple of them here. I was happy. I also got some flavoured sparkling water. I love this line. No sugar. The fruit flavours are yummy and vast. I haven't even had a quarter of these flavours. I got to the checkout area and the man there was so nice to chat with. I paid with a credit card. Done! He bagged everything and wished me a nice evening. I did the same thing and left. I ducked into the booze section for the first time. I wanted something light and yummy for New Year's Eve. I found cheap bottles of prosecco. Yes, please! There were bottles of strawberry and raspberry rossini, and peach bellini. I got a bottle each. The man at the counter was great. There was a female customer who basically interrupted my paying for my items by saying, "I'm sorry, but I love the red wine here." Are you really sorry? I frankly didn't care about your opinion. I don't think the male staffer cared, either. It was so random and odd. I thanked the man and left with my precious items. The weird woman then got to chat up a storm with this man. I felt for him. I rang in 2024 with the peach bellini. It was bubbly and had the right amount of peach flavour. It went down nicely -- perhaps too well. I had two glasses of it, which basically emptied this bottle out. A few days before I was to fly back home, I had the other bottle after I returned to my hotel room after a Wild game. Same deal. The strawberry and raspberry flavours were perfect. I loved the bubbles. I would get both flavours again. I don't know if this prosecco line is a seasonal offering. I hope that these bottles are heaven are available year-round. They were delicious and cheap at $6 each. The items at this store are great, which is the case at any Trader Joe's. It's the crazy parking lot and an oddball customer that wasn't. I hope to return when it's not the end of the year and find out if my experience will improve. (22)

I had to indulge in two of the jumbo chocolate chip cookies, one with walnuts and one without. There is a huge frozen food section with a variety of dishes. Now, I do not eat frozen foods but they do have a gluten free area with very little preservatives....for those who are gluten free. I did; however, purchase the chicken meatballs with garlic and the Italian style chicken meatballs...they weren't frozen just in the refrigerated section. The produce looked extremely fresh and delicious as did their meat section with a host of stuffed meats. There was stuffed pork chops, stuffed salmon, stuffed chicken and shucks, stuffed potatoes lol. The olive station has a variety of olives....from all over the world (as the sign says). I would definitely recommend this store if you're looking for healthier options. They do have great sales, only if you have a membership and honestly the sales are pretty darn good. I could've paid $2.99 for the chicken meatballs instead of $4.99. Checkout at the self-serve cash register was easy and there's an attendant available to help or catch shoplifters lol. Although the parking can get full on the weekends as it shares a lot with Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. We love going into the store, just to browse the various home decor and gift items. They always have a great selection of unique things for holidays. Our favorite spot in the store is towards the back where they have a huge variety of foods from outside the United States, including lots of snacks, and candies to try. This is also where we get all of our flavored coffee syrups as they have a huge selection for a very reasonable price. Kwiktrip has become my favorite gas station/ convenient store. I have a couple locations I frequent…read morearound my house and work. Love their free air machine. I've been fighting a low tire pressure light this winter and I stop in every week to fix. (I'll need to get that looked at sooner rather than later. ) Everytime I visit, the store is clean and stocked. I see many workers both behind the counter and on the floor...all friendly and helpful. I like that they have a variety of coffee machines (hot, iced, blended). And I like the way they have their grab n go foods displayed (sandwiches, salads, fruit, meat/ cheese sticks). Sometimes I'll stop in on the way home Friday afternoon to grab a take n bake pizza for dinner. Also love their giant cinnamon rolls for Sunday morning brunch. As I write this we are at the end of Week 1 of the COVID-19 pandemic. I had to get out of the house. Gas is affordable! But no place to go. I know Kwiktrip used to be a grocery store so I stocked on some supplies. (I took one look at the Walmart parking lot and was like "nope"!) Bread, milk, eggs, pancakes mix, coffee creamer, stuffed chicken. Their groceries are affordable, no mark up Corporate gas station prices. What they didn't have I just went to Festival Foods next door. It's not common for gas stations to have shopping CARTS. Before, I thought this was odd. Who needs a cart. Today I understand.
