Nothing has changed, but my experience. As commuting with my bicycle more often, I found out that this Aldi has no bicycle parking railings. There's a way to use trollies' railings, but it might cause inconvenience to shoppers and possibly damage to you bike.

The thing about Aldi is that it's predictable with it's layout and you know you will always find a bargain or two there in the center aisles. I enjoy browsing the center aisles for sports equipment and garden ornaments and the prices are not overly expensive. Their fruit and vegetables are always fresh and look very appetizing and they don't have all the sweets and chocolates right under your nose as you come in which I like.
The only gripe I would have is that the prices seem to be higher than they are in the UK. Is that right? Possibly this is because Aldi are trying to please the Irish by providing them with products homegrown and produced in Ireland?
I used to live in London and could leave with a weeks groceries for under £10 and now I find that the prices are not massively less than other grocery stores such as Tesco or Dunnes. I spent €24 there the other day and didn't feel that I got that much. read more
Again, this comes under my love of a good bargain and the "shopping on my holidays in a new country" feeling common to Lidl and Aldi. I'm fond of this particular branch though for a few reasons. It's opposite the Manhattan peanut and popcorn factory, so on one memorable day the car park smelt just like a cinema foyer. Yum! It's also really clean and they seem to be better stocked than many of the others. Even the special offers have a marginally longer life on the shelves/in the big metal baskets here. Staff are nice and actually went searching for my bargain ipod speakers when I couldn't find them on display. The queues aren't the worst Aldi/Lidl ones and they move pretty quickly. Win! read more
