I've been to this Whole Foods location a few times over the years, and it's exactly what you'd…read moreexpect. Solid selection, clean store, and very on-brand. The regular prices? Definitely on the inflated side--clearly paying for the name and the health-conscious, "better quality" experience. That said, when Whole Foods puts things on sale, they mean it. Those deals hit hard, and that's usually when I show up. Shop smart here and it's worth it; pay full price across the board and your wallet will feel it.

They sell Cava tzatziki and other dressings? Since when? Well, bought that. They just stocked fresh organic grapefruits, bought that. I'd never been to a Wayfield Foods store before today, but good that we checked it out. The store was incredibly clean, spacious and bright. The shelves were stocked with everyday items that we expect in grocery stores, and more specialty items like their international offerings and alcoholic mixers area. We went there in search of wings and I was blown away by the deals! $10 and under for over 1.5lbs of wings? Yes please! I'll be back.

I feel like they get the "almost expired" foods from other grocers and sell them beyond their shelf life. This Wayfield was the store Florida Evans bought the roast from that made everyone sick on Good Times!!! Super poor quality, but elevated prices. They will sell anything in "the hood." My bf wanted to grab some vegetables from here, aside from my suggestion that we didn't, and it proved me 1000% right!!! Most of the vegetables were clearly old, wilted and the corn had listeria I swear (see photos). Not just one or two packages...but several of them and on top of that none of the packaging had the actual sell by date. Guess they were going to let them just sit out there until they sold. Dang shame! The meats had clear mold on them and talking about 5 for $19.99. I wouldn't take them for free. We initially were just going to leave and go somewhere else, but I thought about the people who can't do that. Pulled the items and took to "customer service" which ummmmmm... The so called manager walked over looking like a City Girl with tissue stuck in one of her nostrils. Gross!! Brought this to her attention and she could of cared less as I was clearly taking her away from her job of doing nothing. Avoid shopping here as it's not worth your health and when I compared the prices to the smaller Kroger in Decatur it was on average between $1.00-1.50 more. A shame!!!

This location specifically has one of the freshest produce sections of the ones I have shopped. Walking into the store, you walk into the traditional Aldi floor plan and the produce section is the first area you enter. Not only can you smell the freshness, however, the vibrant colors stand out in comparison to some other grocery stores. The mixed greens section is my key go to as their power blend and mixed blend are sooooooooo fresh, I can get a few days of storage out of them. As we are talking about salad, the Aldi brand salad dressings are amazing as well. After hitting the produce section I head to the protein snack area. Aldi has some of the best protein snack options. The vast range of sweet and salty items help me to stay on track of my high protein/low carb intake approach on life. LoL. Having obtained all that I came for, to the register I go. The line wasn't bad at all. The front area was super clean and the cashier was very pleasant. I was greeted with a smile and warm hello. She immediately began to scan my items, confirmed if I needed bags, and had me completed within a few minutes. Another great Aldi experience. Great selections. Clean store. Great pricing for quality items. Great service. Oh yeah, don't forget your quarter for your cart.
