Thank You Thursday Review…read more Evergreen Park Farmers Market is one of my favorite places.  Open Thursdays from 7 am to 1 pm -  May thru October, I sure miss them from November thru April! My favorite vendor is Dotson Farm, where I purchase herbs and flowers for my garden in May/June. A variety of vegetables are enjoyed throughout the season. I informed her that the chicken salad was outdated and when we're they going to remove it and put out fresh chicken salad. She proceeded to say "she dont know". I asked her " what do you mean, you dont know". Do you not work in the deli after all you are behind the counter". She again answered, "i dint know". So i said i will contact the Inspector to come in and see that the chicken is outdated. The workers have gotten lazy and tgeir attitude with some of them as this lady, attitude is terrible and unprofessional. I will from now on, shop somewhere else and spend my hard working money.

I often come here after umpiring Friday night baseball games and sometimes I get there right before they close. I understand how workers may dislike customers who drive up minutes before they close, but the location has posted times of being open until 9pm. When I pulled up to the drive thru at 8:55pm, I should still be served. The young female refused to take my order and said they are only taking online orders. However Smoothie King's online ordering system does not let you order if it is within 15-30 minutes of closing. How convenient!?! The female refused to give me her name, the managers name nor the corporate number to file a complaint. I went to the window to see if they had any information posted for the manager information or how to contact management and I saw two employees hiding in the back, who quickly turned out the lights at 8:58pm still during open business hours. The employees should be fired for refusing to serve customers that visit while the business is open or at the very least written up and re-trained. Unless this is the management's direction, and if so then maybe this store should post earlier closing times or corporate should retrain the managers as well. In a time when there are multiple business's that want new customers, this location seem fine with hiring rude workers and allowing them to ignore paying customers that come during open hours. You have lost a loyal customer and I will continue to spread the word about how this location treats is customers.

In 1982, a naked boy walks around asking animal how many licks does it take to get to the center roll of a tootsie pop. Most people and animals have a tendency to bite down, and in this case, the wisest creature in this ad is the owl. He couldn't make it past 2 before biting. I saw there was Study done with different people and still the numbers are up and down on the number of licks. Guess the world will never know. I myself remember eating these Tootie Blow Pops for a while, but I got confused one day which candy I was sucking on. I wanted the lollipop with the gum in the center and picked the Tootsie Roll Lollipop instead. From that point one, it was Charm Blow Pops for me.  I never liked the taste of a Tootsie Roll candy myself.  Maybe because I did not care for the chocolate taste. I recall these candies were generally the last candies to be eaten or thrown into the trash after my Halloween candy was consumed.  Its is a little humorous that at one point in time, these two companies were at war, and now they are together under one roof. It's kinda like  how Coke could have owned Pepsi at one point during the Cola Wars, but they failed and Tootsie Roll didn't.  The world my still not have an answer to the undying question Tootsie Roll asked, but the licks just keep on coming.

But some regular items are priced well.
