Now the negatives~. They have "TRICK advertisements and Displays and their Online Presence isn't done properly, as it's almost always mislabeled and incorrect. Trick is when they put a Big Yellow Tag for Price like "$7.99". Then under it in Tiny Print no one can see with their eyes says "In Quantities of 5 or More". That's called a Trick Public. They do it at all of their stores. All. Since I shop at many other NICE stores I realize That's BOGUS ASF really, Bogus to the Community and Visitors. It's legal, just under the "super shady" area, definitely taking advantage of non English speakers and immigrants whom don't understand Unethical really.. I'm just pointing out obvious stuff here. Sales aren't really sales unless you BUY IN BULK at Tony's, that's it, Some do like to buy in bulk, so it works. It's not all the "sale" items - but you need to check it closely! Read the Fine Print! They had a really nice "display" for fresh tortillas and tamales. But no tamales. I was willing to try those. 2/$3 price. Not available, I guess sold out. Mmm, okay. We will say "sold out" for Benefit of Doubts Concerns. They didn't have smoked salmon or lox. But that's okay, I found other items I like. If I didn't like this Brand I wouldn't visit their Stores. In 1982, a naked boy walks around asking animal how many licks does it take to get to the center roll of a tootsie pop. Most people and animals have a tendency to bite down, and in this case, the wisest creature in this ad is the owl. He couldn't make it past 2 before biting. I saw there was Study done with different people and still the numbers are up and down on the number of licks. Guess the world will never know. I myself remember eating these Tootie Blow Pops for a while, but I got confused one day which candy I was sucking on. I wanted the lollipop with the gum in the center and picked the Tootsie Roll Lollipop instead. From that point one, it was Charm Blow Pops for me.  I never liked the taste of a Tootsie Roll candy myself.  Maybe because I did not care for the chocolate taste. I recall these candies were generally the last candies to be eaten or thrown into the trash after my Halloween candy was consumed.  Its is a little humorous that at one point in time, these two companies were at war, and now they are together under one roof. It's kinda like  how Coke could have owned Pepsi at one point during the Cola Wars, but they failed and Tootsie Roll didn't.  The world my still not have an answer to the undying question Tootsie Roll asked, but the licks just keep on coming.

Thank You Thursday Review…read more Evergreen Park Farmers Market is one of my favorite places.  Open Thursdays from 7 am to 1 pm -  May thru October, I sure miss them from November thru April! My favorite vendor is Dotson Farm, where I purchase herbs and flowers for my garden in May/June. A variety of vegetables are enjoyed throughout the season. This has been my neighborhood Jewel-Osco for 20+ years. I have always loved coming to this…read morelocation. Sometimes I come in the morning for quick snacks for my kids. Unfortunately, I will be seeking somewhere else to shop in the morning to avoid a specific person who I feel is not very welcoming to shoppers. Today, this individual did not acknowledge anyone in line. This is why I usually go to self checkout to avoid unpleasant customer service. Unfortunately self checkout was not open yet and this was the only line open. Today was the last straw for me. There were side conversations with the bagger. I guess that was more important than those spending money to keep the doors open. There are pleasant staff member in the afternoon, which is when I will shop. I usually do not post negative reviews but I couldn't take this anymore.

On one hand they have some great team members but there are a few individual's who leave much to be desired customer service wise. It has to start at the top and I feel there is no real direction at this store most of the time. Some individuals are unpleasant and definitely don't want to be there. Which was weighted and priced incorrectly and to add insult to injury i get all the work for lunchtime, open my wraps and its freaking OLD!!!! I have the right mind to call the board of health!!! I was pissed!!! Instead of having what I purchase for lunch I had to throw away a $10 wrap!!! It will be another long time before I return if at all this location sucks!!! Athough this is a great addition to the 95th area, after 3 times of visiting this store the bakery and hot soups have highly disappointed me !! The first time I purchased bagels went home and they were hard as a brick the second time I came for Broccoli and Cheese soup to be exact and When i opened the pot it was obviously soup that had been reheated way past the kitchen time to thow away with no cheese or broccoli in the soup Third time was today and still got the same clearly adding water to it. If any of you value your stomach walk right past this is very disappointing considering other locations even 63rd has a better presentation and fresher bagels and soups next time im posting a pic.
