Bought one of Aldi's new items, Beef Sirloin Steak Tips with gravy, $8.99 on 6/16/2026 ( not cheap since it's only 16oz!!! and claimed 4 oz per serving!!) and it was like chewing on rubber. Didn't even feel like I had real meat in my mouth. The entire package is only some plastic bag with "meat " and gravy but won't even feed one adult let alone 4 4oz serving . Contents look nothing like the picture on the box the bag comes in that is inside . Garbage!!!!!!! read more

This is one of the nicest Aldi I've been to. It's modern, clean and bright inside. They layout is also different from other Aldi I've been to where it's dry boxed goods that I first see. Here, it's produce up front and a huge wine selection in the back. Their seasonal selection is great. When I come to this location I tend to find something that I have not seen at other Aldi locations.

Love the remodel. It's seems bigger and roomier. Same Aldi excellent prices and fresh produce with a modernized version. I dislike the being located at the end of the plaza because there is always heavy traffic coming in and out so it makes it challenging to cross the street. read more

My wife and I started buying your Dakota's Pride Pork & Beans in tomato sauce about a month ago. I wanted to try them simply because the price showed only $.76 a can compared to my regular Van Camp Pork & Beans at $1.26 for the same 15 or 16oz can. Anyway, the first can I tried had beans that were kind of hard and crunched similar to that of peanuts. I didn't give up. I tried another can and they were absolutely perfect. I told my wife if I can get consistent Pork & Beans like that second can, that I would switch over and start buying Dakota's Pride Pork & Beans. So I try another can and they were just like the first can-still hard and crunch. I use to work for a Fortune 500 food company and when beans were like that, it usually meant that they did not stay in the blanchers long enough. Sometimes it would be reverse, if the cooker had downtime, they would be overcooked and not fit to eat. I believe with a little increase in blanching time and a little increase in cooking time, you will not have this issue. I love the sauce. The sauce is even better than that of Van Camps. Cook me some beans that are thoroughly cooked and I will start buying your beans at ALDI's. Like I said, I have many years of experience with steam cookers and blanchers. FAVE Aldi. The baked goods, (most especially the sourdough) is to. Die. For. And the prices are exceptionally awesome. Especially on meat and vegetables. This location is also in one of my favorite areas and typically carries items some of the others don't. Which is. If you ask me. Awesome. Clean. Staff are friendly. This place is like a Sam's Club that carries all generic brand items and does not charge a membership fee. The grocery items are Aldi are insanely cheap. Its a great place to bulk up on items. But they do specialize in carrying generic brands. You might come across your conventional Kraft or Betty Crocker items here or there, but its mostly generic brands otherwise. Its a great no-frills place to shop. And by no-frills I mean this place has a very warehouse-ish feel and you have to buy your own bagging supplies! read more

I really enjoy this Aldi! As soon as you walk in it's produce and so much of it. I like the bakery section, great selection. This store is modern and clean, so pleasant. The staff are very helpful, as this was my first time at this location and the layout is a little different. They made sure I found what I was looking for and made sure I didn't need anything else. Checking out is usually quick at Aldi anyway but the the cashier was kind, friendly and asked if I found everything I wanted okay. I really love this location! read more

We're always going to the Batavia Aldi and now that the new/remodeled store is open, it's like going to a gourmet market....well done Aldi! Nice lighting, new freezer and fresh food cases, fruit & veggies are up front, fresh bread and pastries are new, all a nice addition. Some of the items we really enjoy are only "seasonal" so we stock up but would be nice if they carried them year round, understand though that space is limited. Employees are always helpful and courteous. read more

If you are a chocolate lover, they have some yummy imported chocolate bars at reasonable prices. They also have some delicious gourmet cookies, great for parties. I also like their organic blueberries, and stock up on their baking soda, at 50 cents a box, it's the best price around. Be sure to bring your own bag when shop here. read more

Having been to many Aldi stores before , I would like to praise this Aldi as the castle. Clean. Friendly people on staff. Plenty of space. What do you expect from the Aldi located in Batavia, Illinois: Land of Aldi Headquarters, USA? But in any case, this is a great place to buy party stuff for like 25+ house guests for sure. Stop by Trader Joe's for the fancy stuff and swing on by to this Aldi for stuff like pasta, blocks of sharp cheddar, organic blue corn chips, salsa, etc. These guys were "green" before it was in to be "green". i use the Deutsche kuche products like the bavarian sweet mustard, beer mustard and the German style Sauerkraut, red cabbage with apples, and the Spaetzle swabian egg noodles in our recipes and everyone loves it. She was helping an elderly lady who was having a hard time, not only did she bag the products but walked them to her car for her. Unfortunately, I am not in or from the US.But, I got a package of coffee from my friend, as a present. This was the Best coffee I ever had. I am African, I know about African, Turkish coffees a bit, but this from Aldi Bat.IL was the best. There may be other similar products, I don`t know. As I have been in the States(that`s my dream). I wonder why the world doesn`t know about this coffee, they know only F16..etc. I have ALdi store here, but they weren`t furnitured with this products. And these store were tiny, silent in small towns, I suppose they didn`t hear about BEAmount coffee. I would life to work in the where it smells. read more
