I have been hearing about Aldi super market so much that one opened up in my city Anaheim. I have to say I liked it, it's nice a small you can go through the whole store no problem I like that I bought a Cheese cake there it was great and great price. 8.99. When I was looking at the produce a sweet girl named Priscilla helped me I remember her name because it reminded me of Priscilla Presley. She was so sweet came up and asked if I need help picking out the pineapple she showed me how to look at the color and smell the bottom of it. When I brought it home and cut it up, it was so good. I was so impressed with her sweet attitude and helpfulness it made me smile. I really liked the store the staff and the prices. This will be my new shopping place. I think Priscilla and I will be seeing each other a lot. read more

This one was small compared to other grocery stores. The prices were lower than other stores. The only thing that I did not like about this store was the customer service. Today was my first time walking to this store. I did not know that they kept a cart at the cashier area to put your check out stuffs in there. So, I asked the cashier if I can take that cart with me and she yelled at me. The cashier was a mid 40 years old woman. I was so embarrassed when she yelled at me like that in front of other customers. I will not come back to this store again. read more

What a joke!!!! I don't like being told to bring $.25. for deposit, if I needed to use Aldi shopping card and to bring my own grocery bag. Aldi's prices are not cheeper than Food 4 Less. This store will not last in my neighborhood. read more

I love Aldi. I don't think there has been an item i didn't like. They have great service and offer a fun assortment of seasonal items as well. Just a note, that if you find an item you like, you might want to stock up, Some of the items are seasonal and they wont get them back. I am hoping they will bring back the cinnamon hard apple cider. That was fantastic. I love walking the aisles just to see what new stuff they have. So glad i have an Aldi in my neighborhood. read more

This place was a nice idea but it doesn't work for me. The meat selection is very small. Everything still seems to have crappy ingredients. I can appreciate the huge gluten free selection. The prices are good and I don't mind name brands. The people are friendly. I wouldn't mind buying bags if the paper at least had handles. I need handles so I can carry all the groceries into my apartment. The carts having to be brought back to the store front isn't practical. So I have to leave my 2 young kids in the car alone? I absolutely love Aldi. I have always gotten amazing customer service here except for yesterday. For some reason this girl was oddly rude even after I greeted HER. All she said was my total and handed me a reciept like in a "here, bitch" kind of way. I was so shocked because everyone who has ever helped me here had been over the top friendly, which is the way it should be. I think the quarter thing is a great idea to keep people from stealing carts and the bag idea is great too. I would suggest to have a reusable bag in your car or just come prepared. If you know how Aldi works, its not so bad. Yeah, its a hassle to bring a quarter and to have to use your own bag or buy one, but the products are great, the people are amazing except for PRISCILLA. Watch out for her, shes not friendly at all. Other than that, I will forever love Aldi. read more

I only like this place because it's in walking distance. The lines are usually long with only 1 or 2 cashiers. They have a very small beer selection as well but have the basics. They also don't have hand baskets which is a negative. read more

I agree with the other comment, don't get meat from here, we got so sick off the carne asada meat twice separate occasions. It had a weird texture and we got food poisoning from it. Luckily our toddler didn't eat it. read more

ALDI is the best grocery store. I used to live near the La Verne, CA location and now part time live in San Diego, Rancho Cucamonga, and Anaheim. I have gotten so many people hooked on AlDI across the county from CA to CT to AL-great store! I always shop at the Anahiem location and take my groceries with me down to San Diego and go with my parents to the RC and (now) Upland locations. The prices are amazing and the selection is top notch. I have been able to make so many creative and delicious meals with the fresh meat deal of the week and festive desserts from apple cinnamon bread, strawberry and blueberry berry muffins, and pumpkin cheesecake. Amazing prices on staples such as bread, eggs, produce, milk, yogurt. The Anahiem location is always clean and I adore the staff- I always see the same rotation of staff here from Lucky, to the girl with the long curly hair to the guy with the fro( sorry I dont know your names!) The staff here is beyond friendly, helpful, and happy- they are always smiling! When it gets busy they are quick to open other lanes. Love shopping here read more

Love it. Save lots of moneys so I can buy more of their delicious chocolates. Almost everything here is a generic brand, but I don't mind. Only certain items I did not like: knock of lays chile flavor, cheese spread, gluten free crackers, all of their pizzas, frozen general tso chicken. They have great quality meat and if you come on the right day, they have manager specials that are awesome. And they are still good looking and tasting unlike what you see at Vons manager specials. read more

So I had to find out. First, no handicapped parking. There is one space, not close then about 4 others much further away. Second, the prices arent all that and mostly no name brands. So they charge a few cents less for brands you never heard of. Third, a whole isle of horticulture, yard products, including dirt and fertilizer, right in the middle of the store. If they got rid of that they could stock more food brands. Ugh. Bright spot is the quarter in the grocery cart. That seems to work pretty well, Nice since you dont have to fight the loose carts in the parking lot. I wont be back. The experience was not good for me. read more

I visited this store the other day and had the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had at this store. Granted, the Corona virus pandemic has been putting everyone on edge but there was no reason for the rude behavior of the employees and manager. My husband and I entered the checkout lane and were told that the register was not working and it was not open and as we leave the lane, they start to check out the people behind us. My husband was upset and asked the employee, Edmy, why they made us leave the line but then proceeded to check out the parties behind us. Edmy told us, in a rude manner, that they have to check out the other guests that were in the other lines first. As she was telling us this she was opening another register and checking out other parties. Instead of diffusing the situation and apologizing for the inconvenience and just checking us out in her lane she tells us to get to the back of another line. We were visibly angry and asked to speak to a manager and when she came out she proceeded to get the story from the other employee first then approached us, angrily. The manager, Tori, came up to us acting as if we had no right to be angry at the situation. When we try and tell her our side of the story she exclaims that we are causing a problem for her because other people are looking. She continues to say that we are causing a scene and that we should be grateful that she came to work at 5 in the morning to restock shelves, as if she were doing us a favor and this job isn't something that she gets paid for. The response from a manager should have been to diffuse the situation or at least hear us out but she did none of that. The way she spoke to us was unacceptable and I will not visit this store ever again. I work in customer service and I have never seen or experienced anything like that before and I believe this store should be evaluated because they treat the customer like a burden. If they cannot handle a little stress then they should not be working face to face with people or in customer service for that matter. read more

I've been shopping at Aldi since their grand opening (I received 2 free bags) I always like to give new brands a chance. Some of the items have become a staple in our home. The prices are reasonable and the quality comparable or better on some occasion to other brands, I recently purchased Pueblo Linda Homestyle Tortilla Chips and I was pleased with the price and quality. The chips are not greasy at all, I do not like when I have purchased these type of "Homestyle" chips at other stores, how greasy they are, even the bottom of the plastic bag is greasy, I have to wipe my counters of after the bag has been placed there and I keep them in an additional container in the cabinet to prevent grease from oozing out of the bag onto my cabinet shelf. So I don't even purchase the other stores "Homestyle" chips. I like that Aldi's "Homestyle" chips are either lightly fried or baked, they are delicious and the bag does not have grease and salt at the bottom, grease does not ooze out of the bag on to my counter or cabinet and there is no greasy aftertaste from the chips. I recommend this product at Aldi read more

Let me tell you why I love this store. Not only are the products, quality and prices fantastic but they have wonderful deals on other items. I recently bought my granddaughter a wagon at what I thought was a great price. On a return trip to the store, I found the wagon price had been lowered. When I asked the cashier what was needed to get the lower price on the previously purchased wagon, I was given the difference in cash immediately. Who does that? They trusted my word that I had purchased the wagon at the higher price. Seriously, who does that in this day and age? The answer, Aldi does!! I also found a lovely scripture verse when I opened my egg carton the other day. What a pleasant and joyous surprise. Way to go Goldhen and Aldi! I'm your customer for life!!! read more

As far as grocery shopping goes, Aldi has been able to help me save money and cut my grocery bill by half when compared to other super markets like Vons or Ralphs. Very fresh and healthy food options as well as home goods and accessories. Eggs, bread, milk, yogurt, and frozen food are very inexpensive there and always in stock. Aisles are very wide so you don't have to worry about trying to pass another shopper. Checkout lines move quickly too because there is a cart already at the cash register for your groceries when you checkout. Do remember to bring a quarter for the cart though. read more

We visited this store without checking Yelp and did not see the recommendation that we should bring our own bag. Not a big problem. We didn't buy much as we were in a hurry, but the store is really tidy and gives off the impression of being "very healthy". Must be due to the strange brands. All the items were generously priced, and very affordable. For those that are loyal to a certain brand, you won't be able to find it here because a lot of the brands here I have never seen before. They have a small selection of fresh produce and some were organic. Lots of snacks as you walk in, and we were very tempted to buy everything lol. The service was good, we bought a bag of treat for our dog but ended up returning it because the ingredients weren't very healthy, my bad for not reading it before purchasing, but they happily refunded us without a receipt and no questions asked. The meat section was clean and fresh, cheaper than other stores I must say. Overall, I would definitely come back here again despite it being a bit far from where we live. Just make sure to bring a quarter for the shopping cart (they will give you back your quarter), and your own bag if you don't want to pay $.10-$.15. read more

This grocery store is very odd and unorganized. Before you even walk in you need to rent a cart by paying 25 cents to use there cart to shop. As you walk in it looks like they took little to no time organizing where they should place the products. I have heard a lot about the store being fairly inexpensive but it is definitely just as pricy as any Walmart. Overall is was okay I wouldn't go out of my way to do my household shopping here. read more
