What a hike it was to get here, but it was totally worth it!! Even the drive was a little scary,…read morehaha. Leech Woods is easy to pass by if you aren't paying attention, especially at night. But I was quite intrigued when I arrived! They have a haunted hayride, 30 minute woods trail, axe throwing, food, bar, a fire performer, creepy characters running around... it's a really cool place to just hang out at. You don't have to plan to do the trail or hayride if you don't want to. For places like this, I don't expect much outside of the main attraction. I believe they're done for the year now, but while Halloween is the most active and fun time to go, it's super busy, and you'll have to pace yourself with any groups ahead of you on the trail. Mind you, there wasn't a wait... but I feel like I would've been a lot more scared if I didn't have some of it spoiled by people in front of me. I will spare no details, because if you haven't been, you're in for a treat. Make sure you read up on Leech Woods before you go... it's quite the story!

There was 5 attractions and they were all amazing! We went on the Sunday before Halloween and it was pretty dead which I loved honestly because me and my fiance got to enter all the attractions just us! I am unsure if they do that on a busier night but they did it this night which I really liked. They have three food trucks the food was okay, we got loaded cheese fries for 11.50 from the one truck barley had a bacon on them, but fries themselves were just frozen fries nothing amazing. However all the workers from the cross guard guy to the people working the booths were all super nice!! I would differently go back

My friend and I got the instant access pass for an extra $25 and to be honest, it was worth every penny. With it being spooky month, we knew it would be jam packed. The line got general admission was ridiculous. The line to express access was better but still pretty long. Instant access allows you to skip the line and go straight to the entrance of the haunted house. The music was too loud to hear the instructions but I guess the gist is, don't run and don't touch the actors. I loved the design and themes of most rooms. Some left a little to be desired. I do wish there were a little more actors and better system of separating the parties. There were quite a few times we were able to see ahead so we knew what was coming. My favorite times were any moment where the actors interacted with the guests, like when we were chased. After the haunted house, you're able to buy merch and take photos. Although we didn't do the escape room, I liked that there was an option to do so this adding to the whole Halloween experience. All in all, I enjoyed my time at the House of Horror. While there could be some improvements with setup, I would still recommend it for others wanting to check out a local haunted house.

A group of us went to Haunted Hollow on opening weekend, and it did not disappoint. The tickets for…read morethis haunted trail were only twenty dollars because it was so early in the season. I have been to a lot of haunted houses and trails at the beginning of October, and many places tend to be understaffed. Haunted Hollow was fully prepared and had tons of actors scattered throughout the trail and scares at all different levels (crawling, jumping down from a height, hiding behind props, etc.). They did a good job of keeping groups spread out through the use of a timer. We didn't encounter any other groups until we got closer to the end and made a wrong turn in one of the mazes. In the waiting area, we noticed they had a giant fire pit. Since the weather was nice, it was not in use, but will be great for cooler fall nights. It would be nice if they would add some things to the waiting area since it was somewhat dark. Maybe some additional lights and photo spots would be nice. The trail itself has some uneven spots and steps up or down that can be difficult to see so wear good shoes. It would be great if they marked these spots with glow in the dark paint or reflective tape so no one falls. If you're looking for a reasonably priced haunted trail that isn't far off from NOVA, Haunted Hollow is worth the drive.

However, I simply cannot give five stars at this time. Our group went to Markoff's on a Sunday night, which is clearly their slow night and least crowded night. But despite the fact that there were SIGNIFICANTLY less people than any other time we'd been in past years, we had to wait OVER TWO HOURS to be called for the trail. Then we had to wait approximately 20 more minutes to get to the trail entrance. We had anticipated being home from this adventure by 9pm, but now it is almost midnight and we are still en route. Unfortunately, multiple members of our group had to leave because they simply could not wait that long. Some folks had to bring their kids home and others had to relieve babysitters. We love you Markoff's, but really found this to be unacceptable.

"Pardon me, ma'am, is that bleeding boil on your face part of your costume, or are you infectious to my horrified kids?" anywhooo, my bother came to visit and for 4 years, we have gone to markoff's haunted forest (love it) but decided to give a local haunted experience a try for something different. I was a bit disappointed. BUT... I think experiences like this are very individual... I LOVE Markoff's: the time and the meticulous artistry that goes into every scene. . I like more subtle scares... Less of the pop out and startle you type of scare. Hallow, Inc. Is more of the latter... Less meticulous with their scenes, although they are new so I gave them three stars for effort. It's a great haunt in the making. Things I really enjoyed: the entrance had a sampling of zombies in cages screaming at us while we walked in to get our tix. Nice touch... Made me excited for more. I liked the premise of the story and the short movie they showed at the entrance. Again... Whet my anticipation. I appreciated all the actors, even outdoors in the sobering strip mall... They did not break character and were very dedicated to the story of it all. My vote: more dedication to the scenery next year.
