Making my appointment was quick & easy. I wish I could remember the young lady's name on the line because she was super sweet. Answered my questions with no hesitation. Trust me, I had plenty of them too. Upon arrival, the 1st thing I noticed was how clean everything was. The whole vibe was just relaxing. I've never done anything like this so I was a little anxious. By no means am I claustrophobic but still had questions. Again, I was made very comfortable, no rushing me, no attitude. I was walked through every step. My session was for an hour and it felt like a dream. I almost fell asleep. I noticed the young lady came by periodically to check on me. So that shows someone is being attentive. This was such a great experience and I'm most definitely visiting again in the near future. They offer many other services like PEMF therapy, infrared sauna & compression therapy. Yelp on my friends!

Twenty years ago, I unknowingly developed an autoimmune disorder. Instead of getting help, I was…read morecalled lazy, a loser--everything you can imagine. I knew I was sick, but no one would listen. I can't even explain the hopelessness I felt waking up every day, knowing something was wrong but being dismissed over and over. Doctors, the people we're supposed to trust, failed me. And I'm not just talking about random doctors--I come from a medical family. But the system? It doesn't care. Unless you're their mother or daughter, you're just a number. They've got 30 other patients to see, and if you don't fit neatly into their textbook criteria, they send you off to a psychiatrist. And guess what? Even the psychiatrist told me, "You're not mentally ill--you're sick." But that didn't matter, because I didn't fit into the medical system's little box. I was at my wit's end. I couldn't function. I couldn't get out of bed. I went to multiple IV clinics--there are a ton in Houston--but none of them felt like the place. Until I walked into Revived. From that first visit, I knew this was different. This wasn't just another clinic. This was a hidden gem, maybe the only true healing center in Texas. So what makes them different? 1. The People. Every single person at Revived is exceptional. They genuinely care. They have felt more like family to me than some of the people I expected the most support from. And let's be real--sometimes the people closest to you want you to get better... but only to a point. When you really start healing, when you start changing, it creates a weird dynamic. But not here. Here, they want you to thrive. 2. Eli, the Owner. I have never met someone so dedicated to learning and putting his patients first. Other places stick to the same old protocols. Not Revived. Eli is always on the lookout for the newest, most effective treatments. And most importantly? He listens. He actually sits down and listens to you, believes you when you say you're sick, and does something about it. 3. The Dream Team. Eli. Alijah. Noosh, Marie, Hales, Andrew, and Dr. Peck--this is the superhuman squad. I don't give compliments lightly, but I can say with 100% certainty that this team has changed my life. Because of them, I can get out of bed. I have goals. I have hobbies. Who knew people with autoimmune disorders could have hobbies? When you're stuck in bed all the time, you're alive, but you're not living. They have brought me back to life. Through methylene blue, NAD, ozone therapy, peptides, and other treatments, my Lyme disease is nearly gone. I feel like a different person. And then last week, I had the Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) done by Dr. Peck. I'll post a more detailed review later, but let me just say this--for the first time in my life, I am not stuck in fight-or-flight. It's the weirdest, most incredible feeling. I feel like doing a backflip, but knowing me, I'd break my neck. I don't call things "Holy Grails" lightly. There are only three things in my life I've ever given that title: Jesus, Botox, and coffee. So clearly I am not impressed by things 99% of the time so for me to sing someone's praises - it just doesn't happen. If you were to. But if you are struggling--if you are sick--if you know something is wrong and no doctor will listen, Revived is the place that will. If you're on the fence, DM me. I'd be happy to share more details. But I'll leave you with this: Revived didn't just change my life. They changed the entire trajectory of it. And for that, I will be forever grateful.

Today I tried the infrared sauna for the first time and was wowed by how pristine, spacious, tranquil and private the space was! I booked a 60 min session. Your private infrared sauna booth is within a private room itself, and because of the design, the booth is not claustrophobic at all! There's Bluetooth so you could listen to your own music/podcast and the temperature/timer settings are clear and easy to adjust. Towels and a floor mat are provided and a cold washcloth wrapped around a big ice cube is thoughtfully prepared for you on the bench in the room for your face. I will try to make the infrared session here a routine!

Parking- shared lot in the back. And you take the small alley to get to the front entrance. I don't think you can get inside it from the back lot. Service- I had my class with Charla she was good, very precise. It was only 4 people in the class, so it was very individualized, like a semi private class, she offered verbal assist. The room was small. This may be intentional for a more intimate experience. I brought an empty water bottle with me to fill up before class. But found out they do not have a water station. Then the staff member said they do have bottled water available. I declined because I assumed she meant purchasing bottled water. But after she said bottled water was complimentary when you sign up for a class. I wish she would have just led with that, if that's the case.

What I don't appreciate is when medical practitioners get offended when you ask questions, or challenge theories when it comes to your own health. It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.
