I recently visited Sprouts Farmers Market for the first time because I wanted to try the in-house…read moresandwiches that have been going viral online. Unfortunately, my experience was not very welcoming. The employee taking our order, Silvia, did not seem friendly and her tone of voice came across as unhappy and unwelcoming. While waiting for our sandwiches, I also noticed the same attitude toward the other customers she was helping. Customer service is a huge part of the overall experience, especially for first-time customers. A polite and welcoming attitude can make a big difference and leave customers wanting to come back. Instead, the interaction made the environment feel uncomfortable and uninviting. After my visit, I looked through other reviews and noticed similar comments from customers mentioning the same employee and the same type of experience from about a week ago, which is disappointing to see. I understand everyone can have difficult days, but when multiple customers are sharing the same concerns and nothing seems to have changed, it reflects poorly on the store experience overall. I'm hoping this feedback is taken seriously because the sandwiches themselves were good, and I would still be willing to give another Sprouts location a try in the future.

Boy, I'll tell ya. Albertson's of Mesquite, TX really believe in safe sex! I came in here only to…read moreget a few food items and to pick up a prescription -but was intrigued by the plethora of contraceptives they offered. There's an aisle at the back of store with an array of condoms and different lubricants... Some of them I didn't even know existed. But wait. It doesn't stop there...Its even more contraceptives in the pharmacy! Lmbo. Because it doesn't take much for me to giggle like a 12 year old, I found it funny that this small country store had so many items to satisfy your romantic needs. Not mine. Probably yours. All the employees are nice and they will walk with you to your car and put them in the back seat for you. It's mainly due to the fact that there are no designated places to put your shopping cart outside. So after they load your car with your groceries they take the shopping cart inside for you. There is always a sale most of the time. You don't need to have a discount card to get the sale price like at other stores. The checkout lines are usually a breeze.

Keep in mind I've been going here since I moved down here to Mesquite I've spent thousands of dollars here and for them to do me like they did me today is crazy, but anyways I get my food (faster than usual) didn't think nothing of it , the lady that attended me when I first got there she mean mugged me and like gave me a nasty look ,some shorter chubbier Mexican lady, well when I received my food I paid and left, got home and was about to eat , soon as I start digging through the meat I see like a discoloration and keep in mind the bag wasn't hot or anything usually it's really hot and fresh, but this time nothing so bomb the meat is like a light tan color and I already knew it was cold meat jus by the grease all dried up on the meat and I gave a call and the lady said to go back (I live down the street) I get back to the meat market and the cashier (Griselda) excuse "was that I had ordered and then left after ordering that that's why it had got cold" I was like "what I literally just pulled up not to long ago at 8 and , it hasn't even been 15 mins and my food is stone cold with dried grease the rice is hotter than the meat like what, I get yall are about to close but this shouldn't happen to your guest THIS IS RIDICULOUS I've never had this happen" she ended up giving me a refund, honestly I'm disappointed and can't believe it still I was a guest from this place and for them to treat me like this is crazy , I hope they give a talk to there back of the house and make some changes . From now on I won't be coming back ! This all happened between 8:07-8:20 may 29 Don't go before they close or you get cold food !! One of my favorite spots turned into a nightmare

I have been a Kroger customer for over 32 years, but my experience on December 5, 2025 at the…read moreMesquite location (525 N Galloway Ave) was extremely disappointing. I arrived at approximately 10:52 PM before the posted 11:00 PM closing time needing only one item: a package of pecans to finish a birthday cake for my mother, who had just survived major surgery and was turning 90. The doors were already locked. The security guard met me at the door & told me I could not enter because they were already closed & because another customer had already been turned away & was still sitting in the parking lot, however, there was no other person in the parking lot at that time. She lied to get me to leave. I asked for the GM's name and she said Dakota. I went back to the door because I saw an employee & she advised me that she was the night manager that the store closes early so the security company does not incur overtime. Security has to get out early, so they purposely close the store early to get everyone out by 11PM so they do not get written up for overtime. Denying customers entry before posted closing hours and providing misleading explanations is unacceptable. The security company should adjust hours and come in later and stay until 11:30PM to cover anything needed. This is a separate issue causing bad service. Kroger should honor its advertised hours and treat all customers with fairness and transparency.

They provided useful tips for staying in town, what to see/where to go, and a few people even chimed in on where to avoid. I'm usually better at getting names so shame on me for that, but particularly helpful were the deli lady and the Starbucks girls, all of whom were working the morning of 12/26 at 10 am (hopefully that helps their bosses recognize them) The prices seemed good but admittedly I was in vacation mode (where money doesn't matter until you come home) and the service was top notch, but do yourself a favor and stay out of the men's room!! To be clear, the customer service staff is the worst part of this location…read more During the daytime, there are two Black ladies (one named Nia, and unfortunately I didn't catch the other's name), and in the evening there is a Black guy with braids. All three consistently have terrible attitudes. They either seem to hate their jobs, dislike dealing with customers, or both. I dread coming here knowing there's a good chance I'll have to interact with one of them, but unfortunately it's often unavoidable. In a time when good jobs can be difficult to find, you would think employees would put more effort into providing basic customer service. For the record, I am Black myself, so let's not turn this into a race issue. I only mentioned race because I don't know all of their names and wanted to identify the specific employees I'm referring to, not anyone else who may work there. These employees are consistently unpleasant and would probably be better suited for positions that involve less direct customer interaction, such as produce, stocking, or the meat department. Their attitudes make what should be a simple shopping trip far more frustrating than it needs to be.
