I'm honestly very concerned about the safety at this Albertsons location. The parking lot feels extremely dangerous, drivers regularly ignore the stop signs and speed through without slowing down. I've personally witnessed multiple close calls where pedestrians were almost hit, which is really alarming. There are no speed bumps to help control traffic, and that seems like a major oversight given how often people drive recklessly through the lot. On top of that, the lighting is very poor, especially at night, which makes visibility even worse and increases the risk for both customers and employees. It's disheartening because basic safety measures; like enforcing stop signs, adding speed bumps, and improving lighting could make a huge difference. Right now, it feels like safety isn't being prioritized, and that's concerning for anyone who shops or works here. I really hope management takes these issues seriously and makes improvements before someone gets seriously hurt or if something does happen then having a major lawsuit on their hands. read more

We really love this Albertson's! They're always well-stocked on a wide variety of fresh produce, dairy, pantry items, fun seasonal selections, and more. But the 5 stars is because there are so many employees who consistently go above and beyond for us. We live right across the street so we are there all the time, and I cannot believe how consistently we get the very best service across so many different departments. At the front of the store, gems like January, Jasmine, Ever, Mimi, Christine, and Stacy keep everything rolling along efficiently and even somehow have the capacity to still joke around or trade some anecdotes back and forth with you even during the craziest busiest days. They even make sure I'm not missing out on sales if they notice one on something I buy a lot. Thanks for watching out for us, everybody! In the butcher/seafood department, Jesse, Dillon, Tyler, Yvette,... all the team members just crush it. I placed a giant specialty order for my multi-household Christmas Eve Feast of the Seven Fishes and they not only filled it, but also communicated with me in the days that followed, letting me know what was available, what wasn't, what looked good, etc. Our feast was a huge success thanks to them sourcing beautiful fresh PEI mussels, colossal scallops, and more. Plus they do such a great job with the meat cutting. I cannot recommend their tomahawk steaks more highly. Wanna feel like you're eating a $200 entree on the Strip? Grab one of those for $50 and throw it in a hot cast iron pan with some thyme, garlic, salt and pepper. Your friends/family will look at you like you're Bobby Flay. Also the Starbucks at this location is really exceptional. (I'm not surprised to see lots of other reviewers here saying the same!) I used to go to some other standalone Starbucks locations on the way to work, but even if I don't need groceries, I started coming here instead because they were way more consistent. Ileana, Brenda, Jessie, Alandria, Summer, Princess, ... they're all great baristas that we always look forward to seeing and get the best drinks from. Gotta give a big shoutout to Ray for keeping the parking lot functional and the carts organized, working his butt off even in the worst of Vegas weather! Heart of gold, that guy. I had to cut off my debit card for fraudulent activity. For the 7 to ten days I wait for my new card, I attempted to buy over 50$ worth of groceries. My check was denied, after I had already. Confirmed that it was ok to take a check, with customer service. I called my bank when I got home. No denial on my bank's part of getting the goods I needed. My account was intact. It was ok. Albertsons, on the other hand, were the ones refusing my $53 dollar purchase. Because of the check. NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS, ALBERTSONS! read more

Michelle S. is a checkout attendant at Albertsons and has been so for quite some time. She is outstanding. I can't emphasize enough how great she is at what she does. So great with people! I know this Review is very late though I would love to Nominate an employee from this store Luke D. Monday 6/2/25 was a shopping trip I couldn't believe as this store was very busy. I had seen Luke all over the Store handling concerns as bells were going off and customers including myself had questions he was able to answer. He also assisted me to my car and packed my groceries for me. The Store Leadership team should be very happy to have him as an employee. Hope other stores Request his Great Service. If they have the chance to send him to other stores for a day Im sure everyone would love him. He's my Favorite employee. But the fact he was able to unlock things and silence alarms and that "Customer Service to the Liquor Cabinet" Voice in the midst of a chaotic Monday has me baffled. Not one of their better locations to begin with, but since they have closed their East doors (allegedly to protect against theft) the place is horrible. Today, again, have to scour the parking lot for a shopping carriage, none at door. Further, now that only one set of doors is open, it creates a gridlock of people at that door. Now everyone tries to park in the West lot since the closing of East doors, creating another problem. The shopping carts lock up halfway to your vehicle, sometimes right in the middle of the roadway. Today I had my wife hold cart while I went to fetch car, loaded my groceries and drove, leaving the cart exactly where it locked up. I know these corporations have zero consideration for customers any longer, but I have seen elderly folks dealing with this nonsense as well. In regard to the closing of the doors, I will be notifying the fire marshal to see if this is up to code/safety requirements. By the way, how has the fight against theft going since you have inconvenienced you patrons with this guise. read more

I just spent an hour and a half filling up a cart full of groceries. I pull up to pay for it. They've got two tellers open and five people in each of the lines filled with items. I'm not gonna wait in line 15 - 20 minutes to pay for Ridiculously priced grocery products. You're charging me through the bum hole. I wanna be able to pull up to a register and pay and get out of there now I have to wait 15 minutes. So I left my cart there, please put the items back. I do this exercise several times a month you guys I don't mind. Not all lost, I did pick out seven or eight items so I could pay through the self check out and I walked right out didn't have to wait. If somebody put all those groceries back as a job security for them less profit for the corporate CEO. Just a FYI. I'm retired! Do I don't mind walking around a park for an hour or Albertsons. Shopped for my groceries and went to check out. I mentioned to the cashier that I wanted cash back. I told her $100 and said she couldn't do that. She offered to not charge me for the milk so that when I went to the customer service desk, I could purchase the milk and get cash back. Went to the Custer service desk and asked for cash back. She did not call for manager or customer service support. Sherry, at the customer service desk, said I had to make a purchase in order to get cash back. I pointed to my cart saying I just did. No, you have to make a purchase. Then, I shared with Sherry that I wanted to return all the groceries in the cart and to speak to a manager. After explaining the situation to the manager, he acknowledged that the policy was not customer friendly and asked if he could arrange for my cash back. Exasperation. I'm a senior citizen. I shop on the 1st of every month to take advantage of the senior discount specials. I was not prepared to bag my own groceries and put them all into my cart ( I almost forgot and left my wallet because I was caught off guard bagging my groceries. I had about eight bags. I expect to bag my own groceries at a discount market like "Food For Less" But not at Albertsons. Even on senior discount day the prices still are not cheap. Please store manager if you are going to entice Senior to shop on certain days at least have the employees to help accommodate their shopping experience. I have been going to this Albertsons since they opened for many many years. I noticed this last year the employees look and act so miserable. Not sure what's going on but it's very obvious. They lady that works self check out) dark hair, hair thinning, little overweight) out she is very passive aggressive she should not be in the public if her life is that miserable or her job for that matter. I''m tired of dealing with Albertsons on Cheyenne. Tues I bought 5 pounds of filet mignon $24.99 a pound. I ordered online for pick up. Needless to say they gave me the old ,fatty steaks that had been sitting. I complained and they are refunding my money. I went back online and noticed they had prime filet mignon instead of choice. Wonderful. I ordered 5 pounds of prime filet mignon at $29.99 a pound. Now they are telling me they don't have prime filet even though it advertised. The meat department was very defensive like I did or said something wrong. Customer service was no help either. Like I was annoying her so she passed me along to the person packing my order. She went ahead though and assisted me with getting my deli selections and she was cheerful the whole time. It is very frustrating using the app to clip coupons if you guys are not going to honor your own coupons. And yes, I know how to use it as I was an employee for Vons for years (same company). This store is always out of stock and the employees are so unprofessional. Update for COVID19 practices in late May. Carts are sanitized and all employees are masked. However, nobody is following the arrow guidelines for one way aisles or keeping six feet from each other. Store was packed; a manager asked about our experience upon exit. When asked about the 50% capacity guideline, he and a female employee snidely replied "well max is 400 so 50% is 200." That wasn't the question. There's no visible mechanism for counting customers, so no way to guarantee 50%. Since people aren't following the rules in aisles, it's an even bigger mess. When this was pointed out, their response was "Have a good day." Will avoid. read more

I have had Jasmine help me on checkout before and she is always so pleasant, she makes a chore a joy! I am a senior, a regular customer and on a budget. Tonight I met Jasmine on an aisle looking at the sales tag trying to figure out what a sales coupon covered so she could explain it better to another customer. Jasmine took the time to explain it to me as well because the sales are often confusing. When I did get to Jasmine's check out, she didn't rush me, helped me with my Albertson app, and made sure I got all the discounts on the things I purchased on sale.
