Operation time is misleading. It says open until midnight but the pharmacy closes around 8PM and the store around 9PM.

I come here often since I live in the neighborhood. Good store with decent prices. They could do a way better job of training employees. I get it, j1's kinda suck. They just want to make money. But next time I'm in self checkout and one of the employees on break cuts past me in line and rudely bumps past me, I'm going to have words with them instead of telling a uninterested manager. read more

More than most other grocery stores I've been to, this one seems to take advantage of tourists. 1 - All Albertson's have 'preferred' pricing with an Albertson's card. But this one seems to have excessively 'preferred' pricing. One case of water was advertised as $5. Small print, the non-preferred price was $23. So the tourists who visit once, and don't have an Albertson's in their hometown are charged an ~80% markup? 2 - I have an Albertson's card, which I don't carry with me. I usually just give them my phone number - but this Albertson's says they could not find my account. Maybe it was an innocent mix-up, but I've never had a problem before. 3 - Multiple people in town, as well as some online searches indicated this Albertson's was the only Starbucks location in Jackson. But it was really a Tully's! So disappointing. read more

Have been standing in the line for customer service for 30 minutes, AT LEAST. No movement, no acknowledgement, manager walking back and forth without doing anything to help. Great market for your needs for your stay! - all grocery needs -- fresh vegetables and fruits; plenty of options for protein (i.e. chicken, pork); self-serving trail mix area; box and canned goods of all variety! - bear spray available - sunscreen and other toiletries available - open early and open late -- which was great to pick up things when arrived late in the night and before our early hikes - easy drive from the Fireside Cabins - would easily recommend for anyone visiting Jackson/Grand Teton area! :) read more

Albertson's FAR exceeded my expectations for this small mountain town! They carry everything you'll need for your trek into the park, from bug spray to toiletries to $3.99 styrofoam coolers. The selection and quality of fresh produce, meat, and prepared foods was top notch. They also carry fresh loaves of bread from local bakeries. Prices are standard supermarket prices, not jacked-up-touristy-small-town prices. I borrowed an Albertson's card from the lady in line behind me to get the advertised discounts. My only regret shopping here was that I didn't buy more! I'd recommend stockpiling several days' worth of food here, as the grocery stores outside of Yellowstone Park are abysmal in comparison. read more

Albertson's is a really large supermarket (grocery store) with a chemist and bottle shop (liquor store) attached. It's located on the edge of the town and not within walking distance of the 'CBD' and main shopping area. They have an excellent selection of fresh fruit, veg, meat etc as well as chilled pre-prepared meals and all of the usual grocery items. It's not the cheapest supermarket you'll find but it's certainly reasonably priced. Alcohol is competitively priced against other bottle shops in town. We stocked up before heading through Grand Teton NP to West Yellowstone. read more

This is a very nice, quite busy store. We tried the take home meals to take back to our Lodging while visiting the area and the Street Tacos were wonderful, the Chinese food not so much. But they are well priced and an easy meal. We used self check which was very easy and were gone. It is surprising that Albertsons isn't requiring masks. read more

Dirty restrooms. Looked like a truck stop in the middle of Alabama. Would expect more from an Albertsons in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Also purchased a latte at the Starbucks inside the store. Then my wife asked for a cup of ice, the barista told her she didn't have time. So much for that Starbucks customer service. Someone must have slept through that class. read more

May 25, 2020 630pm I came in and watched as an elderly women in front of me struggled to put her groceries on the conveyor as an Albertsons employee with a name badge ( Mauricio ) just watched the poor women struggle ..... The store is fine. What bothers me is the numerous customers roaming around with no masks on, coughing on the produce and touching items before putting them back and employees walking by without saying a word. Even worse were the three employees behind the deli counter, not wearing masks while preparing food and one was even munching on a little snack he picked up from behind the counter. Shoving food into his mouth with his bare hands. Customers of all ages including people with pre-existing conditions shop here. Figure it out. read more

I'm guessing this is the one big ass grocery store in Jackson, and they seemed to have all the bases covered. If the Armageddon hits Jackson, this will be your spot. Pharmacy right there also. During a weekend in Jackson, we visited this grocery store at least 3 times. It's a large store and has anything and everything that you may need - lots of selection. I guess in WY you can't buy alcohol in a grocery store, but don't worry - there is a liquor store directly next door so that's very convenient. There are plenty of check-out lines and express lanes if you're only picking up a few things. read more

We were exhausted after taking full advantage of what Jackson Hole has to offer. We had checked out the national parks, walked the downtown area multiple times, imbibed, at at your finest restaurants and we totally please. But the final night, we needed to kick back and relax in our hotel room. We stopped by Albertson's and lucky for us they had a fresh salad bar and fresh soups. Perfect. That's all we needed. We got our fresh foods to go, ate in our hotel room, and passed out. Albertson's fulfilled our needs and we didn't even have to drive there. It was close enough to our hotel to walk. read more

However, the old lady cashier yelled at me with "swipe, swipe, swipe", feels like I don't know how to swipe my credit card, which was disrespectful and disgusting... Be aware the bear spray ripoff. The shops inside the grand Teton or Yellowstone charges $45 for a bear spray. This joint asks for $60. They even put up signs for bear spray at the front door. Other than that the deli is good. read more

I'll admit that I'm partial to Albertsons since I grew up shopping there as a kid, with my parents and ended up working for the same store (in CA) at the age of 16. I don't see many anymore but I try to go into one when I find one. I was shocked by the selection they had in the meat and cheese area. So many choices in produce too! I was a bit high on grocery choices, it made me wish I lived in Jackson, instead of 10hours away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I even got to use my Albertsons card for the first time in six years (on my key chain). The bakery's selections, which is what we went in for, were delicious. Cinnamon rolls and raspberry jelly donuts. There is a Starbucks kiosk we stopped at for coffee since we didn't have time to drive around town looking for parking, and the lady was helpful and made good coffee. I would go back next time I'm in the area. Prices aren't that different than the rest of the state, we live in eastern Wyoming and shop at a different store. read more

No real complaints. Useful location and a decent selection. Prices are high but not outrageously high. Think Safeway not Whole Foods, on the prices at least. Friendly service. Parking lot a bit risky because people whiz through the unmarked pedestrian area. Did hear some complaints about staffing levels from locals, hope they aren't trying to run cheap. Well, first of all, I THANK all of the people I encountered at Albertson's in Jackson Hole. You will not find better customer service anywhere!!! My son and I went to Yellowstone in mid August 2011. I'm a planner and wanted to save $$ by cooking and having food at our cabin. The manager of Albertson's made it all possible and then some. I was able to e-mail the manager a list of all the items I needed and also requested they freeze the meat I wanted. We got off the plane in Jackson Hole and drove to Albertson's. Everything, INCLUDING my Preferred Shopping Card, was there waiting for me. We picked up some other things, checked out and had a marvelous time eating breakfast and dinner at our cabin. Everything at Albertson's was clean, fresh and of excellent quality. I found the prices comparable to grocery stores here on the East Coast. The grocery store is awesome! The Starbucks is not. I am diabetic. Ordered a sugar free Frappuccino, and got another hot drink with cream on top. Was told when I ordered a regular coffee, that they didn't have any made. Americana is what I got. And, to top it all off, couldn't add to my Starbucks card because their system was not set up to do this. Very frustrating! read more

Uh, I wish we had a grocery store like this by my house in NH. Fresh sushi? They have it. Alaskan king crab legs (I've had fresh king crab while in Alaska--these were the real deal)? Yep. Fast lines? My husband and I visited the Albertsons store in Jackson, Wy to get a couple items on 9/11/21. We noticed many customers were not wearing masks. Every store and restaurant we visited during our 9 day stay have required masks. Of all places a grocery store should require masks. Teton County is in the RED ZONE, even more reason to require masks. I also witnessed a woman employee at the deli empty trash with gloves on and then proceeded to wait on me without changing her gloves. I cancelled my order. How nasty. The worst thing was the way we were treated by the Service Supervisor whose name I don't remember but it was 3 letters and he appeared middle eastern. When I asked him on the way out why customers weren't wearing masks he replied in a very arrogant and rude manner, " Our customers can do what they want they don't have to wear one." He told me to get the Fuck out of HIS store. He also did not have a mask on. I told him to get out of my face he then threatened to call the police. My husband and I both felt threatened by him. A woman employee came over and put her hands on his shoulder and removed him. I will be following up tomorrow with the manager and corporate. I will never step foot in a Albertsons again. It's too bad the last day of our visit to Wyoming had to end like this. read more

Albertson's stopped using loyalty cards so I'm confused by an earlier review about price gouging of tourists. Their policy is to give sale prices to ALL shoppers. FYI: Shiitake mushrooms were $9.99 vs $13.99 at Whole Grocery. Nice selection of Asian stuff including tofu, miso, won ton/ gyoza wrappers AND Hawaii's Own POG concentrate (passion-orange-guava juice) in the freezer section AND it was on special for $1/can.... Cheaper than in HI--- how is that, eh? Nothing like a little bit of home on a 9 week cross country :) read more

I am visiting from LA and went here to get some food during my 4 night stay. This Albertsons has complete selection of every food category you can possibly need. The prices are reasonable - at least compared to LA prices. The staff is helpful and accommodating. They answered my questions and the checkout was easy peasy. What's more is that they give you plastic bags (for free) which we don't have in CA. I have done back several times to buys stuff I forgot to get the first time. read more

The carts and store itself is dirty. No one cleaning the carts like in numerous other grocery store chains, Publix for instance. Customers are required to wear masks but nothing else was done to ensure a clean environment for grocery shopping. One box of wipes was available after checkout so cleaning the cart before using it was not possiThe floor had paper and trash on it in several places throughout the store. Some employees were stocking but left boxes out making it very hard to get around especially with arrows pointing in different directions. The butcher in the meat department had no idea what Prime beef is so he was not very helpful like most butchers are in the meat department. At check out, there were no baggers so I had to unload all the groceries, then go around to bag the groceries myself , using my own bags or not have a bag, then reload everything in the cart. This was not a good experience at all for a visitor. It took twice as long as it should have to do a little bit of shopping, especially in times like these. read more
