I waited all day just to have your delivery person cancel my order at 3PM! And then on top of that, you have the nerve to charge me a cancellation fee of $15 when I never requested to cancel my order. Your Instacart service is terrible. And I will give your company bad reviews whenever I can. I have no complaint with my local Super One store and have been shopping there in person since 1990, but you need to ditch this terrible delivery service company.

As I began to ask if they anticipated having it in stock at any point, she interrupted me and snapped back with the exact same response, just quicker and a bit louder. I don't care if they're GIVING things away, I'll never go back. Absolutely garbage customer service. This is North Idaho, not Washington.

I don't know why people are being so harsh on this Walmart location, I mean, it's a Walmart…read more And it's a pretty nice Walmart at that. It's a large size, they have a good selection. The store is a little poorly laid out, but I think that's a common feature of a lot of Walmart locations. The two things that really bring this location down for me are: the online order pickup, and the parking lot. The online order pickup is located in a odd part of the store, it's not at the customer service counter, and even for just one item you still have to go in and there's not really a clear space to stand or clear marking of where the area is. The second thing that brings this location down is the parking lot. The parking lot is absolutely a mess. It doesn't help that it's coming off of State highway 95, but it's difficult to get into, it's difficult to navigate once you're inside, and it's difficult to find a good place to park. I guess I lied, there are three things that bring this place down. The third thing is that it's far away from Coeur d'Alene and the freeway.

What's not to like about Fred Meyer?…read more It's like classy Walmart. Fred Meyer, for those of you who don't know, is like a grocery store and a department store all in one. This location is very large. Even compared to other Fred Meyers. Some things to know (coincidentally why it's a four star review instead of five): First, the parking lot is awkward to get in and out of. It's shared. It's hard to find a spot. Second, it's expensive. Classy Walmart doesn't come cheap. But definitely worth stopping in if you're looking for a one stop shop.

We stopped at Super 1 Foods in Athol specifically for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. This…read morelocation has a great salad bar along with rotating hot foods throughout the week. We happened to visit on Friday, which was their Asian-themed day, with orange chicken, garlic chicken, rice, lo mein, egg rolls, spring rolls, and several other options. Both the hot food and salad bar are sold by the pound, and there's a fountain drink machine along with a comfortable seating area where you can eat. My kids especially loved that they could get an ice cream cone for just 25 cents. We didn't really explore the grocery store itself, so this review is mostly about the prepared food area. The restroom was clean, and the lunch setup made for an easy, inexpensive stop. The only uncomfortable part of the visit had nothing to do with Super 1. Another customer was open carrying with a holster attached to very loose basketball shorts, and the firearm appeared poorly secured as he walked. That was unsettling, but it wasn't something I'd hold against the store.

They have basic groceries (milk/eggs/bread), convenience-store type snacks, locally made gifts (jewelry, wood pens, etc.), and souvenirs. If you ever wanted a ring that is also a beer bottle opener, this is your place. The place seems to basically be open all the time, but it's definitely open late, at least. People hang out in front on chairs and chit-chat with passersby and everyone seems to pretty much know each other. Our dubious claim to fame was cleaning them out of their individual bags of Idaho Spuds candy (chocolate and coconut-covered marshmallows), so the cashiers recognized us from that for the rest of our stay. The produce is fresh, the meat quality is very good, and there's a huge variety of products throughout the store. Compared with what we normally pay back home, the prices here are excellent. The bakery is one of my favorite parts, especially the lemon huckleberry muffins, which are fantastic. The deli is also worth checking out, with good sandwiches and plenty of lunch-sized grab-and-go meals. Employees have generally been friendly and helpful, and I also appreciate that they now accept Apple Pay. There are a few odd gaps in the selection. On one visit, I needed Prilosec, but they only carried the name brand with no generic equivalent, even though generic OTC medications were available in other categories. Not a major issue, but a little surprising.

I don't like grocery stores as a rule…read more I also am not a fan of WinCo. The main reason I'm not a fan of grocery stores is how poorly laid out they are (intentionally) and how hard it is to find anything (again, intentionally). Well, WinCo falls into that category for me. It might the most poorly laid out grocery store I know. Another thing I don't like is that they only accept cash or debit cards. Annoying you can't pay with a credit card. Normally this would be a 2-3 star review, so why four stars? Well, first it's super inexpensive. They have great prices here. Second, they have a bulk food section which is great.
