About 3 weeks I called Prairie Safeway to refill a heart medication. I called 6 times and left 3/4 messages in 4 days. No return call. at this point I had gone 3 days without the heart medication so I decided to go in to try to order - this was after I even gave the refill number to the robot but the last name didn't match the RX number on my bottle. I waited in line 15 minutes to speak with a pharmacy tech - I told him what I needed and my name and he told me he would rush it and have it ready in 20-30 minutes. I asked why it wasn't on auto fill and I was told there was a system update. Anyway I walked around the store and 20 minutes later I came back and stood in line again for 10 minutes until I got to the counter. it was at this time I was given the wrong medication- someone else's name and not my med. he couldn't find me at all. he brought ivermectin Diane (the pharmacy manager) who told me my prescription was at the Neider location - I was frustrated and asked why it would be over there when I haven't used them in years. she said she didn't know - and it wasn't her problem that my medication was there. I told her I was just in line 30 minutes prior and told it would be filled. she talked down to me again and told me i was being a bitch and how she was short staffed. I then told her that her staffing issue wasn't my problem- bot having my heart medication was my concern and it was insane that she was calling me names. words went back and forth and yes I called her a bitch and told her I would be moving my meds elsewhere. I went to the other location and was told that Prairie store sent it to them. anyway Last week my doctor called in a medication - I went to pick to pick it up -and stood in line for 20 minutes - only to be told that "your medicine was flagged for filling too soon" WHAT???? this medication hadn't been filled for 90 days - I was told to speak with Diane - when I did she proceeded to tell me that because I called her a bitch she was no longer filling my medication. so let me get this strait - Safeway gives me the WRONG medication-- she calls me a bitch and complains about her staffing issues--- tell me to leave --- and I call her the same thing back and she FLAGS me!! yes I'm reporting her to the pharmaceutical board - I've been going there for 10 years!! I moved my medication to another pharmacy and I will be saving about $900/year - but it's the point that I did nothing. giving me the wrong medication could have had dire consequences on my heart and she didn't take any responsibility at all!! don't go there and if you do check your scripts! and tell Diane i said Hi! read more

I went in this morning and got food from the deli section, it was all within the printed date but it tasted sour and like it had gone bad. Went back and explained the issue and was told I there was nothing they could do when I tried to return my unopened food (I kept the one I had opened) On top of that, the atmosphere the employees gave was not a welcoming one. it has made me very hesitant to go back read more

service in the store lacks basic customer service skills. hello and a thank you from the checkers would be nice. I don't expect that at self checkout but at the regular register it would be nice. the bank inside I've noticed whenever they make eye contact they atleast smile at you or say hello if they are not to busy and I don't even bank with them. read more

This store should be SO happy to have Roxanne G . (I'm pretty sure that us the last initial) She provided me THE BEST customer service while I was looking for ice and waiting to check out. So much so that I wanted to update my review and ADD a star because of HER SMILE & DESIRE TO HELP! :) I stood in a 3 person line full of filled up carts and she walked up to me, seeing I had nothong in my hands, with a great smile and asked me if she could help me w anything. I told her I needed ice and in less than 5 mins I was checked out and grabbing my 2 bags of ice. :) She had a store bag ready for me and offered assistance, which I declined. She then gave me a coupon w a survey, and a card for the BBQ they do on the weekends and explained how I could be entered to win some delcious tri tip!!! Uh, YES please ! :) When I got home and showed my mom the coupon, her eyes lit up as we have some family in town for the holiday and they LOVE bbq, hell, who doesn't! She was curious why she's never been given that coupon/survey before. If only Brenda hadn't been so gossipy w her crew during my last visit... oh well. Albertsons really needs to have more help in their Pharmacy. It's ridiculous how long the wait is. Today there's one gal working her ass off doing pre authorizations for flu shots and trying to fill and check out prescriptions. Typical big corporations for you. It is such an inconvenience. I go here becuase it's not as crowded as FM and the people are nicer. However, I would stay away from their machine outside that dispenses "Glacier" purified water. It had the same residue as tap water. Someone isn't maintaining it. read more

I came here with my boyfriend and we saw my favorites flowers which are usually very hard to find so he picked them up for me. I was gushing with happiness cause it's a good day and my boyfriend was giving me some spoiling. They were not in the best condition (not perky or fresh looking, a little wrinkled on the edges), but they WERE on display to be purchased and since there so hard to find I was excited for them anyway and on top of that it really was just about the the gesture of my boyfriend trying to do something nice for me. The cashier Stevie rang us up, looked at the flowers, laughed cause she said they were just to horrible to sell, and threw them out. Literally took them to the florist center a few stands away and threw them out before I could say anything. When she got back my bf asked if we could still have them, they were my favorite. She said "Oh are you kidding me" and started walking back. At this point I just felt silly for holding up the three people behind us so she could to the florist and dig the flowers out of the trash so I said don't worry about it. We weren't blind, I could see they weren't fresh, but it was embarrassing,unnecessary, and a little crushing to be in an excited mood and have my boyfriend try to do something sweet for me and then see it get abruptly thrown away to waste. I would have really enjoyed them, fresh or not, I just felt so happy for the gesture. I feel like it could have been handled better if she asked instead of assumed. Maybe like, "I can see these aren't the best bouquet, can we get you something a little fresher?" Now, she did start going back and to be fair she didn't know, she probably just wanted me to have a nicer bouquet so it's no shade to her. But still, shade to Albertsons because if you're not gonna let me purchase a product, don't put it on display. read more
