Great grocery store with a lot more features. An entire prepared food area, with places to sit upstairs to have the food. And the food area has a lot of variety, so one almost wants to rate this Albertsons as a restaurant. But indeed, it's also a great grocery store, with a great meat/seafood section, that includes oysters, octopus salad, and other hard to find items elsewhere in Boise. During our recent visit (we used to live in Boise), we used Albertsons twice to provide our meal for the evening. Better overall than many restaurants would be.

This is the best Albertsons meets Whole Foods !!! It's HUGE!! but tastefully filled. Check out "Michele R's" review for the complete details. The store has an extremely wide selection of products, NoT at Whole Paycheck prices. There is a lot of rest made food as well as food made to order. All in addition to the wider direction than most groceries stores.

All I'm gonna say is that I just left the longest and most awesome review for not only the staff at the hot bar, the waitresses that have shrunk down from the deli... i up to the bar and deal with all kinds of shenanigans I am sure.... I explained why I have come to love and appreciate the store in the neighbourhood, as well as pointed out that this is the only albertsons I've ever gone to that I actually know a few people by name because I go there so regularly. Not only are they actually human beings that are serving me they actually pay attention and after a while you get this sort of regular feeling and it's like you forget that you're in this corporate albertsons and you're taken back to a different time and...... It was a really awesome review. For some reason it erased it. It was such a good review that I went and I did it again and now it were raced it again and. So now I am reporting the awesomeness of this albertsons, above any other albertsons that I have actually been to, this is my favourite. I feel better about supporting at least went started as a local company before it like... took over... But let's face it, when you start a business don't you want it to go nationwide and grow so why is that a bad thing? In any case I can tell you that Brian makes some of the best to brisket here in the Boise area, and that PJ is always super helpful.I don't know, maybe it's the fact that they're like Union workers and they're getting paid more or that it's just that there's something in the Albertson's water that they want to please the Boise state University folk.. I can say that while I have made exceptions for larger restaurants in the area, I've never had to for this albertsons hot bar or for the pokey station. I have gotten continuously and regularly fresh food made the way I ordered and every now and then with like a suggestion or something that you could tell Heidi obviously remembered me. I'm gonna go update this to a 5 star review and say keep it up Albertson :)

Awful. Dirty old and tired inside. Needs a remodel. Produce goes bad in a few days. Limited selection.

Typical Albertson's but feels very small. Not my first choice but not the worst Albertson's I've ever been in.

It comes with four falafel and two samosas, hummus, and a salad. I didnt get any samosas just six falafels. If they had told me they were out I'd have ordered something else. The hummus had no flavor, the garlic sauce had no flavor, the salad was tasteless. I had to add salt because they only put an oil on it. I wasn't satisfied with the food. I don't think the falafel was even homemade. They looked and tasted frozen. I was very disappointed in the meal. It looks pretty, but had no flavor. Also, parking. There is absolutely no parking. The surrounding businesses wont let you park in their connected lot. You will get towed. Parking in their lot, you pull in and there isn't a back road, you have to put your vehicle in reverse to get out. Can he dangerous if you park all the way in.

No greeting and sort of seemed like they didnt want to be there. Not rude though. Food is delicious. Falafel were flavorful, crispy, but not dry. The hummus was almost smooth. The pita had a little stale texture. It's pretty pricy, but we'd come back if we were craving it. Oh yeah, the market is great too.

Private Selection Belgian Chocolate Irish Cream Ice Cream…read more I am an ice cream connoisseur. I normally buy only premium ice cream made with the best ingredients, with a high butter fat content and little to no air added. For that reason, I am a bit of a hard sell when it comes to grocery store ice cream. Intrigued by this particular flavor, I checked out the list of ingredients and bought it, as well as 5 other pints of PS, all of which were on sale for $1.88. It normally sells for $2.99 a pint. It is also available in half quart sizes, which normally sells for $5.99 per currently on sale for $4.49. I have only tried this flavor so far but far exceeded my expectations. I would go so far as to say that it is hands-down, the best grocery store brand ice cream that I have purchased. For example, last summer I tried several flavors of Albertson's Signature Reserve ultra premium ice cream. While the flavors were intriguing, the ice cream itself was disappointing. PS's Belgian Chocolate Irish Cream Ice cream looks exactly like the picture. There are big chunks of cookie mixed into it. The ice cream itself has great flavor and is very smooth and creamy. This is one of the best new chocolate flavors I have tasted in years. One of the things I really like about this ice cream is that you are actually buying a pint. Years ago, Häagen-Dazs raised the bottom of their pints instead of raising their prices, which I would have preferred. It's called truth in advertising. Even at $2.99 a pint, this ice cream is worth every penny. * I purchased this ice cream a couple of months ago. I look forward every time I go in but it must be one of the most popular flavors because it's always gone. Next time I find it, I am buying several pints. Highly Recommended!!!
