He was kind, got me in and went above and beyond to make sure I was safe on the road. (PS, he's likely playing with the price). He took the time to explain everything clearly, never tried to upsell unnecessary work, and made sure the job was done right the first time. My vehicle runs better than it has in years, and the pricing was more than fair. You can really tell that Rusty cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. It feels great knowing I now have a mechanic I can rely on with complete confidence. If you're looking for a mechanic who is professional, dependable, and truly exceptional at what he does, Rusty is the one. Highly recommend!

I then was left with no option but to take it to someone else. They figured the issue out within 10min of looking at my car. It turns out the altanator tensioner was completely missing. Rusty had tried to jerryrig the part which was done with the wrong part. If you value honesty don't go to Rusty. He is a lier and he will probably break your vehicle more than what is is already broken. He is completely clueless as to how to properly fix vehicles and he will not keep his word about abything. I read the reviews of Richard's Auto Service being an honest mechanic, so I took him my vehicle a few months after moving to the Goldsboro area. Those reviews were correct. Richard's Auto Service is honest, but also so much more. Richard's Auto Service also offers quality work at a customer-friendly price (less expensive than www.yourmaehcanic.com -- a mobile mechanic service). Richard's Auto service is not in a high-traffic area, but it isn't far either and for work you can trust, the drive is well worth it. I have found my mechanic.

My daughter was looking for a larger vehicle for an expected child. After looking at trucks online for days we picked out a few trucks at multiple car lots / dealerships that would suit her needs. On our way back home, my daughter found one that she wanted to look at before heading back to rocky mount. So glad we decided to go look at one more. This dealership knows how to conduct themselves and talk to the customer. Not like just another sale but as if we were close friends having a conversation. This dealership is by far the best one I have been to in many years maybe the best one to date. I love the personalization and the feeling that you are dealing with a company and people that cares. You can buy vehicles on every corner in every town, but you will not get the same attention or feel as welcome anywhere like Odem Ford. I truly believe they would be just as happy to talk with you as to sell a vehicle to you. Finishing this off with a huge kudos to everyone at Odom Ford for a very professional way of doing business and still having the personal touch.
