Alberto the owner called to follow up Saturday and explain that he was busy on a difficult dispatch yesterday and that's why he couldn't come. He offered to tow my car today for free (to an even further location). I declined the offer because I already made arrangements with another company. He tried to follow up again today but I asked him not to call me anymore since my car is all set already. read more

really really bad experience with these guys. I called for an estimate to remove to Conex Containers off the truck. They said $250 an hour that was fine. I asked them when does the time start? Is there any drivetime charge? They said no we're about 10 miles from you time starts when we get there.. They were milking the job as I expected. I know that's the way it goes an hour and a half into the job. He said I'm billing the job for three hours. How do you pay? I told him it was a two hour job. He says he didn't care what the operator said he's charging 1 Hour Dr. time.. He would not unload the container until I signed the contract and paid them.. I had to do it and was not happy about it. They say 3.9% convenience fee for credit cards and the contract but they actually charge considerably more than that.. That's illegal in the state of California. I hope somebody reports them to the state. Avoid these guys at all costs! read more

DARIO IS A LIFE! after my last tow company made me wait 4 hours and then denied picking up my car... Albertos tow came in 20 mins! I would give Dario 100 stars and a million thumbs up! Great service! P.s. whoever is Darios boss... you should give him a raise cause he has excellent customer service and made me forget about my car issues! Thanks Dario and albertos tow! read more

If I can give a review a zero star I would have. Phone operators were not helpful. Sophie the phone operator was unprofessional. She kept putting me on hold. By her tone, she sound like she hates her job. Anyways, I called to get a towing service for my car I give the person the address where to pick up my car and destination. I was quoted $220. I agreed. No big deal right? The issue was Sophie said that the wait time was going to be an hour and that I'll be reached out when the tow truck arrives. About 2 hours later, the towing service never showed. This situation was not only frustrating, but also upsetting. I called back to see what's going on. Sophie tells me that I had to call back to confirm the tow service pick up. Why? I didn't go out of my way to call, provide her my name, vehicle info and address destination just to be told I have to call again a second time to confirm 2 stinking hours later. Bullshit!! Mr. Alberto do yourself a favor and retrain your customer service operators, they need it for sure. read more

Alberto's for the win! Needed my jeep towed with very little notice and they arrived in less than 30 minutes. The price was very reasonable for the industry, especially lately with gas prices. Great customer service, quick to answer the phone, and the driver was professional and fast. Will highly recommend to friends read more

Charged me $700 to release my car and told me to come back the next day when I needed it to see my sick parent.

Fast and effective service. Very respectful and polite. I accidentally locked my keys inside my car late at night. I felt save which is something that I value as a woman. read more

Pete was the tow truck driver. My Jeep needed a quick tow to the mechanic's. The battery was DEAD. Nothing worked. He was super friendly and helpful. He went the extra mile. Pete checked my battery as well. What I loved was when facing adversity he thought outside the box to get my Jeep onto the truck. read more

Certified scam artist. They will charge you for one price and nearly triple the price once they reach their destination and hold your vehicle hostage if you don't pay up. This exact situation happened when I had my motorcycle towed. I had already paid when the driver negotiated with his boss, right in front of me, how much they should upcharge me. Not sure how they are still in business, but if there's one good thing I've learned it is to always take a receipt to document your transaction so that you have evidence in court. Don't use Alberto's! read more

I have Geico Insurance and they called Alberto's Towing. They were very responsive and polite. The driver ver Jerry Martinez was an awesome guy. I felt like I have known him as a next door friend and neighbor. My cars battery had died and Jerry did everything fathomable to get my car recharged which included have to take the battery cables off and clean the post. He advised me in what I should do for battery maintenance. After a half an hour charge. My car started up and I was headed home. Thank you Alberto's Towing and Triple Thank You to Jerry Martinez the service driver read more

I had called Geico when my car broke down and i was told Alberto's Towing was dispatched and a driver will be there in 55 mins (ETA). Pete arrived on time and quickly got my car on the truck. Christian was awesome! When your car needs towed you're already not having the best day - but I'm happy to say Christian offered extraordinary service and made my not-so-great day a bit better by doing so! The estimated wait time was 55 minutes, but he was nearby having his lunch break and saw I was stuck on the side of the freeway so he came straight over to come to my rescue. He was very professional, friendly, and I'm very grateful he cut his lunch short to come help me out. Thank you Christian! :) read more

I would highly not recommend this towing company for these reasons: 1. I set an appointment on a Tuesday early evening for Wednesday (the next day) at 9:00am to have my vehicle towed. They did not send anyone out and told me they were delayed. It was not the drivers fault. But they were 1 hour and 40 minutes late. I was late to work. They knew ahead of time so really there was no excuse. 2. I had the yelp deal where you spend $95 and you get $125. I talked to one of the guys there and he got upset and told me I didn't tell him about the deal. I did mention Yelp has a discount. He disregarded it. On the deal it does not state anywhere that I have to tell them at any point before hand about the deal. When I said why? So you can mark up the price? He got quiet. When I told him that's fine I will make sure to post a review and report it to Yelp as I have to in order to get my money back he was very rude, raised his voice and almost hung up on me. 3. I paid in cash and I had to call 5 times to get an invoice. I still never received a proper invoice. Which is very shady and unprofessional. 4. I called and talked to the owners wife. I was supposed to get a call back, never did. 5. Talked to the husband (owner) told him I was going to call back. I tried and they are no longer answering my phone calls. I tried to resolve the issue and give them a chance to at least right their wrong or take some ownership in how they behaved and conducted there business. But they did nothing of the sort. I have never had such an experience before. I am a very easy going and understanding person but this was just beyond unfair, unnecessary and really just a horrible experience. The positive I will say is that the driver who helped me was really nice and helped me a lot. So thank you to him. read more

Called on Friday to schedule a tow the next Tuesday. I called on Monday to verify the tow, and they confirmed we were scheduled for 8:30 am Tuesday. You have to give it up to Pete! I was stranded at the exit of the freeway during peak hours. Pete got to me within 20 minutes of my call and had my car loaded up and towed home safely. So this my first time ever using roadside assistance with GEICO and they recommended these guys, so you have to follow up with GEICO if you want to complain or cancel is what I was told. Anyhow... Initially is all went smooth, I got the text that said ETA is 12:43 (as pictured). Once is hit 12:43pm, I ended up calling to see whats going on, the lady was friendly who answered and said it would be 20 more minutes. How she came up with that without contacting anyone is beyond me but I said ok, another 20 minutes of being even later for work but so be it. After another 20 minutes went by, still no one to be found, no follow up call. I called again and I asked her to have him call me. He called about 7-8 minutes later and said he'd be there in a few minutes. After finally showing up 1 hour late, we got it all done and dropped it off at the mechanic. Before leaving with my ride I reminding the tow truck driver to leave my car keys with the mechanic which is obvious but I decided to be nice and give a friendly reminder. I get a phone call about 15 minutes later from the mechanic saying the tow truck driver left without dropping off the keys., Now more time wasted trying to get to work as I had to call this lady for the 4th time and have her call her guy to turn around and drop off the keys. Dont get me wrong the guy was nice and the truck they used to tow was is amazing shape but the time management and taking off with my keys makes it one too many issues for me on this one. I thank them for towing me but 2 hours of waiting to go a mile down the road is out of control imo. UPDATE: Thanks to the owner for reaching out and explaining that you dont service that area but that could have easily been explained when I called for an updated ETA. Furthermore that doesnt erase that fact your driver left with my keys as there is nothing you can say to that but thanks for trying to explain. read more

Pete was my tow truck driver. GEICO coordinated the tow when my RV/van broke down. Due to bad cell service, I missed phone calls from the first driver and Alberto's canceled the tow. I was at an address and was sitting in the van, so I'm not sure why they didn't just show up. When I called them back, they said they canceled the tow due to my non-response. A bit frustrated, I implored them to just show up. It took 2.5 hours fir them to arrive. Pete showed up and made it look easy to get our 10k# vehicle on his flat bed. He gathered me and my service dog in the truck, brought us to the dealership, which was now closed. He made sure they were able to help us. Then Pete went above and beyond by transporting me to a close-by hotel and waiting till I was all set. Being in a strange city-we were on vacation-it was good to have someone who knew the area. It was a rough start with dispatch and the confusion with them showing up. However, Pete's arrival, his calm and very pleasant demeanor, along with his concern for helping to be sure I was safe more than made up for the rocky start. read more

Excellent service! Driver arrived promptly. Pricing was transparent and good value. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks again!

Francisco was very helpful. Really appreciated his help. Would recommend to others who need assistance in the future

This is a bad company! I might give them more than 1 star (which is really 0 stars) if they ever return my call and actually do the job, but since they charged me for a job that was never done because they had a new driver who didn't know what he was doing, and now they won't respond to my calls to send another driver or give a full refund. This is to say nothing about the fact that I was told that the driver Chance was on his way by Michael the dispatcher and then still waited 1.5 hours in the middle of the night just have him say I don't know what to do. Seriously bad service and a scam to boot if I don't get either the tow that was paid for or a refund!!! read more

I hired this company when my motorcycle's battery died (at the DMV right before my driving test, in pouring rain) and was helped by Dario. He was very professional and cool and appreciated his help with the bike. Had no issues and would give him & the dispatcher 5 stars no prob. The only reason why I give them 4/5 stars is their pricing was a little higher for a motorcycle pick up after a couple of other quotes I received after I made the deal for them to pick me up but the dispatcher was very friendly and even called to provide an update on Dario's ETA. I would recommend this business and use them again. Thanks again Dario! read more

My car had a flat tire and I called many tow service companies. Alberto was the only one who had a fast response time. They also gave me a good deal despite being late at night. Within an hour a truck came to assist me. Dario was the driver and he is very friendly and professional. He got my car on the tow bed delicately and carefully to avoid any scrapes. We had a great conversation on the ride back to the designated location. It's cool me and him drive the same car :). Thanks a lot Alberto for the help and thanks to Dario for coming to help. 5/5 service and would definitely use this service again. Pete is the man!! He was so laid back, super cool, very reassuring. He did what no other tow company could do for me. My truck had a busted lower ball joint and it wasn't an easy task to tow.. or so I was led to believe. I had gone through my insurance to request roadside assistance. In the span of 2 and half hours and 2 tow trucks/companies, no one either wanted to attempt to take my truck or even bothered looking at it. The first truck was from OC Roadside Inc. Terrible service, the guy was on his phone the whole time talking to a cousin or something, looked around the truck and said "Can't do it" and left. Useless. The second truck was from Armstrong Towing Service. The guy was friendly but he didn't want to "damage my truck" and was too afraid to attempt to take it, even though he had my consent. Then comes Pete, the man!! Super friendly, takes a look at the truck and immediately begins to work while striking a friendly conversation. Reassures me he'll take care of it. Within minutes, the truck is loaded and ready to go. Unbelievable. Within 15 minutes we're at the shop. Had I known this from the start, I would've requested Alberto's Towing first. Hands down. Worth the wait. Thank you guys!! I'll pass the word around. read more
