He estimated about a 48 hour turn around, which I thought was pretty quick. Especially compared to a few other jewelers in the area who said it would take about two weeks. No more than three hours after dropping the rings off, I get a call saying the rings are repaired and ready to be picked up at my earliest convenience. He did a great job soldering the rings back together and gave the diamonds a good shining. Both rings look brand new again! But I am moving to another country, and it wouldn't be practical to take it with me. I reached out to a number of Alaskan fine art galleries to see if they would consign the painting. Then I learned about Alaskan Premier Art Auctions and emailed them.
