The car was great…read morefor the first six years we owned it and I had no issues with Kendall's servicing of our car. However, starting in the fall of 2022 all of that changed. I doubt if I would buy another car from Kendall or another Lexus. The most significant reason we bought our Lexus initially was for all the advanced safety features. Other important reasons were the Enform app which included remote start and monitoring of the car, and that we were able to reserve a loaner car when we brought the car in for repair or service. In the fall of 2022 Lexus dropped support of the Enform app stating that this was because it was based on 3G which was no longer supported. I was able to quickly find an after market solution that was better than Enform, with a cheaper annual fee, for about $600. It would have been good of Lexus, who probably could have gotten this, or a similar solution in bulk far cheaper. I would have been glad to pay half of that cost, if Lexus would have been more accommodating and concerned about their customers. At the same time Kendall indicated they had cut back the number of loaner cars and that we could no longer make a reservation--first come first serve, which effectively makes this service useless. Soon thereafter I needed routine brake job. I was quoted $2,500, which shocked me. I got excellent, guaranteed brake job at a dealer I have a long standing relationship with for $700 less. Also, my auto dim switch was acting up. The service manager indicated they could not figure out how to fix it and would research this and get back to me. The service rep promised she would call me the next Monday. That was two years ago. I have never heard from either of them. I wrote a thoughtful, polite letter to the General Manager expressing my frustrations and asking him to consider talking to me about this. I never heard back. I wrote a second letter, a month later. This time the Service Manager called because "he was told to". He obviously didn't want to talk to me, he had nothing to add, he was not interested in listening to me and discussing the matter. It would have been better off if he had never called me. I then wrote a letter to the head of Lexus of America. I explained my problems and provided him copies of what I had sent to Kendall. Again I have heard nothing. I have subsequentially sold the car. I doubt I will ever buy a product from Kendall or Lexus again, which is too bad. We liked the car.

Yeah, I suppose you could say that our Alaskan family is very satisfied with Continental Subaru, the products they sell, and the on-going vehicle service they provide. When my daughter and I walked into Continental's showroom last month, we weren't really there to buy anything yet, just look at the newest Subaru models since both of our Subarus were over 10 years old (and still going strong!). Ricky greeted us and really listened as we climbed into the cars and critiqued each model. He was very knowledgeable about the current car models and their features, and also with older models and how they'd evolved. The pivotal moment came when I was lamenting that none of the new models we'd seen were quite what I was hoping for. That's when Ricky pulled the rabbit out of his hat and showed us the 2026 Outback Wilderness - in blue! I fell in love and took it. Several weeks later and I'm getting to know Big Blue, which is far from the "computer on wheels" that I was afraid it would be. We've learned from decades of experience with Subaru and Continental that we have a vehicle that will last a long time and a dealership that will support us.

    My 2021 Crosstrek Subaru has been through 3 batteries due to a faulty DCM fuse that has been…read morerecalled on earlier models. I have been to Continental Subaru twice and been told both times the fuse is not the problem. I went to another auto shop and was told it was the DCM fuse but Continental Subaru discounted them. I was told that I will have to pay $2400 to have the fuse replaced. Since the other auto place pulled the fuse, the car has been doing well but I want to have the DCM fuse repaired. I owned and loved Subarus most of my life. Sad. Anyone else with this problem?

They were patient with me while I went through the loan process and held the vehicle for me while I was finishing up paperwork all over town even though it had a lot off interest. Of course they offered me assistance with this too! As far as trade-in values you won't find a complaint from me! The big dealerships are a joke as far as trade-in values so I like to go to "the little guys." I got exactly what I wanted for trade-in. Another great thing is they do not harass you the moment you drive onto their lot to look, which I love. It's stressful and it can make me feel like prey around sharks when that happens, so bravo to Quality for that! If you have an inquiry you just head inside and anyone is willing to help you. Test drives are easy to do as well with just a copy of your license. They will let you take it out solo (with some exceptions they have to ride along) which I find also great because it's more relaxing to me to get a feel for the vehicle and not worry about awkward small talk with a stranger. I took my van in for diagnostics to figure out the issue I was having and several hours later I was told that I needed a new battery. I purchased a new battery from Kendall and thought all my problems were solved until later that day I was stranded and my car wouldn't start again. After trying to reach the service department several times and being placed on hold for more than thirty minutes, I had to find another automotive repair shop for repairs. I found out that it was actually my alternator that was the issue. I started having issues with my new battery not staying charged. I went back to Kendall's service department to request a new battery and was told I neglected my battery by not driving my car enough. I drive my car everyday taking grandkids to school, appointments and shopping, but according to the service manager I needed to put more miles on my car and would not honor the battery warranty. If Kendall won't stand by their warranties, I would think twice about taking vehicles to them for servicing.
