I did my part scheduled around my priorities only to have Frontier say sorry we're not going to get you home by the time you requested we're getting you home later. They would not give me accommodations, offered me 50$ credit for another flight but why would I do that if they can't get me home when I needed to be. Hubby had an eye surgery for that morning that I'm supposed to take him to but now I'm delayed I can't take him. No supervisor would get on the phone to talk to me all I know is his name is Joseph # 8135301. They are not concerned about a women being alone in the airport overnight for 12 hours, they would not pug me up in a hotel either so my advice if your reading this don't book frontier, cheap flights equals cheap customer service. Never will I book with them again and if your management with Frontier and want to talk about this you can email me cromero805@yahoo.com Follow up to this post 6 days later and no one has bothered to reach out and talk to me, I think this says a lot about their management!

Allegiant Air - From Punta Gorda

Let's face it -- commercial air travel has become one of the most unpleasant things you can pay to…read moreexperience. But IMHO Allegiant has taken that misery to a new low. We got hooked into Allegiant when we lived in southern Oregon, and they were about the only airline flying full-sized jets of out airports other than PDX. Oh, sure, Allegiant has had high numbers of emergency landings and aborted takeoffs, and they have operated second, third, or even fourth hand aircraft. But they've apparently recently switched to new(er?) Airbus planes. And the FAA keeps them in line safety-wise, right? Right? Anyhow, a series of failed trips had left us with Allegiant vouchers that wanted burning up. So when we needed a flight out of MKE to a city served by Allegiant, we decided to use them. So far, so good. The main current annoyance involves Allegiant's pricing. The initial airfare tickets quoted online seem appealing. But by the time you add lots of money for carry-on and checked baggage, charges for assigned seats, charges for charges, etc. ... well, it all adds up. A LOT. One of the most annoying charges is for "Trip Flex" which is supposed to buy you out of penalties if you have to cancel. Of course, all you get is a voucher that expires in one year from the booking (NOT flight) date, not a refund. Also, buried in the confusing terms of Trip Flex is a note that if you cancel, you still lose "carrier charges" and "related booking fees." For a recent cancellation of a round-trip for two, that amount to $18 x 4 for a $72 loss. Which is more than the quoted initial airfare! After sitting on the phone for nearly 40 minutes to ask an agent about the possibility of getting a refund of the "carrier charges" because of our concerns about traveling during a period of compromised security due to the government shutdown ... haha ... I was told we could have avoided the "carrier charges" by booking in-person at the airport. Of course, she continued, their agents are only at MKE during scheduled flight times. And those agents are swamped dealing with people trying to check in for their flight. So ...

Needed new pilot - because the one we had had to got fly another plane bc we were just Soo late getting to Jamaica-it was a sh*t show to say the least One lady started crying real bad b cause her anxiety was through the roof so she got on her phone to make things worse an started yelling. Then when we did get to Jamaica our room wasn't available anymore because we didn't check in on time - This airline didn't call us or apologize or gift any money back. So now I'm Just saying if u want ur planes ruined fly with these people, I think they be hanging out with Spirit-they all slow. And to add some fat logs to the flame , on our way back from Jamaica I almost got jumped by the flight attendant bc I needed to go restroom and she told me to go to the back. I said well yall mf's.

American Airlines has achieved something most companies only dream of: perfect consistency. Every…read moresingle flight I've booked has been delayed. Not most, every one. At this point I don't check the departure board, I check whether the sun still rises in the east, because both are equally certain and only one is on time. I paid extra for the "premium" route, assuming premium meant something, like leaving when the ticket says. Turns out it's just a surcharge for being delayed in a nicer font. In this life only three things are guaranteed: death, taxes, and my AA flight sitting on the tarmac while someone whispers scripted apologies into a microphone. A special mention for Paul at MSP Terminal 1, who met my calm concerns with a level of sass that deserves its own frequent flyer program. Customer service is supposed to de-escalate - you escalated. With flair. Two stars for the sheer reliability of the unreliability -- minus the rest for Paul, the delays, and the audacity of the word "premium." I'll fly them again, of course. Not by choice. I've just lost all faith that any other outcome exists.

They had to jump start the engine before takeoff. Yes, really. And the air circulation system was broken. No air the entire flight. It was utterly miserable, and so unhealthy. With no operational air circulation system, there is no filtering of the air, which means it is a viral superspreader event. It's hard for me to believe that United would authorize a plane to take off with an inoperative air circulation system. I will never fly United from Chicago O'Hare to Milwaukee in the future.

Interesting to see all of the low ratings for United here…read more This review is specifically for my experience with United Airlines AT General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) - NOT experiences with United in general at other Airports. I always check my bag - I'm tired of all of the self important travelers who insist on dragging every piece of junk they own on the plane with them. I can't begin to count the number of times that a flight I was on was delayed leaving the gate due to - to many travelers insisting on attempting to drag all of their suitcases on board - and then the fire drill of having to take their bags to the front of the plane to have them removed and loaded into the cargo hold. So as usual - I checked my bag at the United ticket counter at MKE - using the automated kiosk. I had already checked in for my flight the day before using the United app. I had to wait zero time - as soon as I had completed the kiosk transaction - the United agent was on top of things to verify my identity, tag my bag - and they directed me to the correct Gate area. At the gate area, boarding was no problem. The gate agent was proactive and on top of things. We were flying on a CRJ200 to Chicago O'Hare - a relatively short flight (wheels up to wheels down time = 17 minutes).

They made me believe my bid was too low and I would never get it.i forgot all about it. We had seat assignments for row 16. We got to the airport super early because it was a holiday weekend. I go to get us lunch, and my checking account is wiped out. They took out $150 for four seats upgrade without even consulting me. We also had to check bags that are considered carryons on every other airline. Three bags at a $150 charge. The people attending the Spirit hub seem o hate their jobs. No direction. You even check your own bags. If you gate check it's $100/bag. No free internet, no drink services...you are paying for services that are free on other airlines. My daughter was having ear problems on the plane, and the stewards did nothing. They didn't even announced were delayed.

Spirit apologized and gave me a voucher for $7.00? Wow, $7.00 - a coke at the airport costs almost this much and they don't give change back. Then the moved the arrival time to Milwaukee to 12:23 AM (the next day). But, they now are using the 10:00PM time as their "on time" target and not the original scheduled 8:29PM. They again are sorry and give me two $50.00 coupons. I can't use both of these coupons together for one flight. I have to book two new flights to use them both. Our flight got to Milwaukee close to 5 hours late and by the time we deplaned it was 1:00AM. The insult of a $7.00 voucher.
