I am a builder and I build custom homes and have used this company to clean my windows after the completion of a new project. I scheduled the appointment a week in advance because my home was about to be listed for sale. The crew arrived more than an hour late with only two people and then had to immediately leave and return 3 hours later with additional workers. Mind you I had told them how many windows they were and they have already cleaned this Home two previous times, but fine. They eventually cleaned the windows using the wrong water tank. Instead of soft water, they used an empty tank with hard water, leaving spotting across every window in my home. The company acknowledged the mistake and promised to correct it. They returned two days later, after several phone calls, but completed only about 25%. The weekend passed, and although an employee called the following Monday to say they had not forgotten about me, another full day went by without anyone actually scheduling the remaining work. At this point, a week has passed since the original appointment. I texted the company and asked for a refund for the unfinished portion of the job. I also asked them not to continue calling me. Between arriving late, initially sending an insufficient crew, damaging the appearance of every window with hard-water spotting, and now requiring what would have been a third visit to complete one job, I could no longer wait, especially with the house about to go on the market. What happened next was the most disturbing part. Rather than having the owner contact me, apologize, and issue a refund, the company had the employee call and text me, saying the mistake was "on him" and that he would be fired if I did not allow him to return and finish the work. I ultimately told the employee to keep the money because I was not going to participate in an owner placing that kind of pressure on an employee over a legitimate mistake. Mistakes happen. Using the wrong tank happens, but it could have been resolved my prioritizing mistakes and making them right. Failing to prioritize the correction, and then making the employee's job contingent upon my allowing yet another visit, was completely unacceptable. After being a repeat customer for years, I will never use this company again.

We hired them to clean 2 units for a total of 4 hours and provided a prioritized list of things to be done (e.g. 1. showers, 2. sinks, 3. kitchen appliances). The expectation was that the showers in both units get done first, then the sinks in both units, then the kitchen appliances in both units...) and they would proceed down the list until time ran out. The units were vacant since we had not moved in yet, so we didn't realize until later that they only cleaned one unit and stayed 5 hours without checking with us to see if we wanted to extend the time, which costs extra. While the cleaning that they did do was very good, the misunderstanding was unexpected. Communication was not unclear through text messages and the owner was professional and respectful throughout the process but AI or translating features may have been used because in-person, there was a bit of a language barrier. I wish they would have asked for clarity if they did not understand our request. We had to have them come out the next day to clean the second unit. This ended up doubling our intended time and cost. The owner later advised that if time/cost is an issue, that we could provide a list of tasks in order of importance and request they only complete what fits within the allotted timeframe, which is EXACTLY what we wrote and expressed orally for them to do...not for them to do low-importance items and work until all jobs are done. Why would we have done a walkthrough of two units if we wanted all 4 hours (which they exceeded anyways) spent on only one unit? Again, the cleaning that they did was really nice, so I would recommend them for your home, but I will caution you to make your needs very clear and even then, check in regularly to make sure they are following the plan according to the agreed upon job (e.g. go in order of the list, stop at the appropriate time, no hidden/extra fees). Also, Happy Home Cleaning did not provide their own step stool and were almost unable to do tall things like kitchen cabinets, fans, etc. This should be brought. Best wishes for a smooth ride!
