When I was there for my appointment, they told me they did not have time to clean my teeth (despite stating they were in excellent shape and overall clean) with or without the numbing. They then offered an appointment a month later. When I expressed my dismay they suddenly had an opening that night. I got the impression they do not really care either way about their patients schedules or dental health. Seems like an odd way to run a dental health practice.

But he died, and when I went for my next appointment, I had his partner Scott Hodas. Hodas talked me into having my dentures relined, even though they fit well. He said they had to be relined every so many years and I was overdue. So I agreed to let him reline my dentures. BIG MISTAKE. Since the reline, I have to use denture adhesive twice a day, and my upper plate is not snug. I often find it difficult to talk. When I went for my six month cleaning, I wanted to talk to Dr. Hodas about this. He looked at the denture adhesive I brought along and said that's what the adhesive is for.

The office staff are professional, friendly and basically don't take crap with missed appointments or anything (they'll chuckle if they read this, they had to get hardcore on appointments with me about 5 years ago when I had a handful of last-minute cancels due to some repeated illnesses). Their cleanings are gentle, they've done same-day fillings and an extraction if needed for me and otherwise are just great. Anyway, went in today for my first cleaning since COVID-19 breakout. I have to say I was VERY impressed with their process and precautions. You wait in your car when you arrive for your appointment, call them to let them know you're there. They call you to come in, mask required, they do a temperature check and ask you to use their fancy hand sanitizer before you proceed to the exam room. They have a plexiglass divider hanging at the checkout station, and all employees wore masks and the hygienist & doc wore face shields as well. They did a great job keeping you away from other patients and it was very efficient considering. Highly recommend if you're nervous about a COVID-19 cleaning or other dental work.

The lady on the phone asked me several questions... when did it happen, how did it happen, are your swollen, did you cut your lip, are you injured in any other way, etc. She not only was trying to get a correct diagnosis over the phone (to ensure the DR. could see me), she also seemed generally concerned. After all, having a broken tooth is ALWAYS a traumatic event! The minute I walked in the door (not smiling or showing my teeth), they automatically knew who I was! There is something I like when I'm on the phone with someone, tell them I'm on my way... and they actually expect me and greet me by name! As the other reviews say, this office staff cares about every single one of their patients. This is one of the best dental experiences I have ever had! I'm not a person who has "dental apprehension", but Dr. Hartrick completely set me at ease. If you aren't familiar with cosmetic dental work, Dr. Hartick is outstanding! She is VERY concerned about patient pain and takes numerous measures to make sure it is minimized. She took a lot of time to explain the procedures being performed and what to expect. She even mentioned that she's a "perfectionist"! When doing cosmetic dental work, that might be one of the best things you can possible be, right? However, I went to this Clinic to seek help with some bothersome and sharp teeth from my grinding. My original online consultation was with Dr. Goldin, who told me in a video that he saw obvious signs of the issues and sharp teeth I had complained about. After my original consultation, they realized I had a few cavities that would need to be fixed before they could resolve my issue, simple enough! I understand that some cavalries could compromise my teeth in the long run, even small ones. However, with all of these fillings, out of pocket it was nearly $3,000. A price I was happy to pay, assuming they would stand by their original statement. Then I was given to Dr. Whalen who also was very friendly. He did my fillings and I have almost no complaints about those compared to everything else. However, the CROWN I GOT IS TERRIBLY FLAWED. I know that the crown are manufactured in a lab but this thing is terrible and is totally made to the wrong shape. DO NOT GET A FILLING HERE UNLESS YOU WANT PAIN AND MISERY. I have tried to have it adjusted multiple times to no avail, and will likely have to end up getting the tooth pulled sometime soon when I can afford it, as the experience has been so terrible I'd rather have no tooth at all. However, after I had set up my appointment for my "Occlusal Adjustment" to fix my misaligned bite, when I arrive, only to be interrogated by Dr. Goldin on how he doesn't see the issues that I am clearly pointing out to why I had originally visited in the first place.
