Dr. Anderson painlessly removed my tooth after which time I will have an implant placed at the appropriate time interval. Dr. Anderson, too, was the epitome of both professionalism and genuine kindness. He truly cares for his patients and the staff is a reflection of Dr. Anderson. In fact, the procedure was so painless, I totally forgot to use the ice pack which was provided. Dr. Anderson deserves another star. he is not great...he and his staff are excellent! The only good thing about pain is that with Dr. Anderson there is no pain! Thank you, Dr. Anderson and staff, for being there for me! Ruth Grimaldi Birmingham, Michigan

So when it came time for an extraction, I went into flight mode but avoidance was just causing more pain. Luckily, Dr Anderson had such a calming demeanor, and they offered sedation, that I was okay. After a kind assistant named Kelly, held my hand (don't judge) I drifted off to sleep only to awake to a sore mouth but the infected tooth gone. Now, this is no fairy tale, it hurt after the anesthesia and numbing wore off but the experience was good and I felt like I was in good hands with Dr Anderson and staff. So much so that I went back for an implant!

The former one star review does NOT reflect on this physician or his practice. As a patient that…read morehas had 3 surgeries by Dr. Ruskin, I have become very acquainted with this practice and the staff. They do nothing short of practicing good medicine and make you feel completely comfortable and educated regarding your procedure. I would recommend this office to anyone in need of oral or maxillofacial surgery. Everyone was very kind and happy to work with me throughout the entire process (consult through post surgical visit). It seems the one star reviewer has an insurance problem and not a practice problem. Office/Doctor was in network during consult, but now not...seems suspicious. 7 months of phone calls and emails to fight outstanding balance. Even 3 way calls with insurance went poorly due to office staff.Cancelled other son's surgery only to see they filed a claim and my insurance paid 100% (for a surgery that never happened) They since returned the money to the insurance company, received a payout from insurance company and refunded a partial amount back to me. Not worth 7 months of hassle and still have a son that needs surgery.
