I would call and try to set up an appointment and he acts annoyed that I called. Reminding me that I am a nurse (which I don't know what that has to do with anything) and I should go to see someone else wherever I am. Wow! And to think it's his work I need redone. My bridge came out and a front tooth he did, and charged me $1700, for (which I paid after I had to convince him that he could do it) broke again. Fast forward to today, I needed a crown over the work he had me go to the endodontist for (he used to do them hisself) and then his wife talked to me as if I would present a paying problem. Saying some people don't pay. And telling me the price of $1700 in a way that made me feel like she was insinuating I didn't have it. Huh?! How insulting! What does that have to do with me? I've NEVER not paid him up front. I actually pay out of pocket mostly because I work for myself. And he knows this and had never had a problem with it. Nevertheless, I thought he was a pretty good dentist and I bragged about him constantly over the years because people loved my teeth but now they are all breaking for some reason and he doesn't want to see me anymore. Really!? So nah, I'm good. I'll find another one who still has respect for his long time clients. The old Dr Grodin would've received 5 stars from me but this new person nah. He wasn't even confident in his work as he used to be.

I finally had to go to Urgent Care to get meds he could have easily provided with one simple visit. Incredible lack of concern for his patients. Still have lock jaw and unable to eat solids, next will have to seek out Oral Surgeon. I get things happen but his total lack of patient aftercare is unforgivable. To leave a patient in pain and distress is completely unacceptable. He would rather keep repeating on the phone that he is glad you're doing better despite you telling him otherwise. Then decided to dismiss you as a patient. I have gone to this practice for many many years but new to seeing him as my dentist retired. What a shame that their other dentists such as Dr Stachel who should not be in dentistry unless he can capably take care of patients and issues if they arise instead of ignoring something he did wrong. I would never ever recommend him to anyone.
