I'm thankful I found Dr. Wahlquist and the team at Folsom Orthopaedic Surgery. I separated my A/C…read morejoint (grade 3) and Dr. Wahlquist helped me understand my injury and all of my options, without pressuring me to have surgery. I ultimately did decide to go the surgical route to ensure long term function in my shoulder. Both surgeries went without issue and I'm happy to say that after 4 months my shoulder is beginning to feel normal again, and I'm finally back to lifting some weights. The staff at this facility are kind and helpful, from the receptionists at the front, to Brian (the surgery coordinator), to Shari, the practice manager. I hope I don't need surgery again, but if I did, I'd be coming here again for the care I need.

We also went through the intake and then were told the following day, they couldn't treat our daughter (simple break which just needed a cast). Presumably, the front office staff barred us from care because we would not provide unnecessary private information such as where our child went to summer camp and school. Bizarre questions and unprofessional attitude.

My husband had spine surgery here and this was 1000% better than going to Roseville Sutter surgery center with all their parking issues! I was very pleased with the text updates and the staff and nurses I left with all my questions answered and thorough instructions on taking care of my husband.

The staff in pre op are very friendly and know what they are doing. 5 stars for that. My issue is their policy of allowing sick employees to work with and around patients including in the operating room. Patients who are sick, fever, coughing, are not allowed in and they would require the sick patient to reschedule. I was very surprised when the nurse who took me back to OR was quite sick. She had a very bad cough and such bad bronchitis, I had difficulty understanding what she was saying. I asked her if she should go home or to her own Doctor, considering how badly she appeared to feel. She said no she couldn't go anywhere because she had to be here at work. I had spent the last few weeks doing everything that I could to avoid getting sick, because I would have had to reschedule my surgery. Plus no one wants to be sick while recovering from surgery! I didn't think much about it until I began coughing, sneezing and feeling sick two or three days after my surgery. This is making my recovery more difficult than it needed to be. I believe that all the staff, including the doctors and nurses, should have the same screening process as the patients! You should not have to worry about getting sick from someone in the operating room!

He said I needed to do the dry eye drops they told me on my previous visit. However, no information was ever given to me about dry eye. Before I could say anything, he flew out of the room. I told his technician I wanted to see him again because I wanted to discuss my concerns. She left and told him and then returned to say he told her my problem probably was not related to dry eye and I needed consultation with another my general practitioner. This doctor does not take time with his patients to fully understand their concerns. He gives little to no information about his evaluation of your health. I left with many questions unanswered about the condition of my eyes. I wish I could give him zero stars.

Dr. Anderson himself and his team both are very kind and professional.  Needless to say, he is highly experienced and got ultra super surgical skills!!  I highly recommend Dr. Daniel Anderson at Folsom....
