I drove from the East Bay to Folsom for a consultation regarding a bilateral breast implant exchange (saline to silicone) and left feeling uncomfortable and that the visit was ultimately a waste of my time. The office looked nice upon arrival, but the overall environment felt cold and unwelcoming. The staff came across as dismissive, and the oversized exam room felt impersonal. During the consult, Dr. Davis told me reopening my original incision wasn't an option. When I asked why - especially given that I wasn't choosing very large implants and incision line had healed beautifully from my previous surgery - I felt rushed. His body language made me feel like my questions were unwelcome. I understand that extremely large implants may require a different incision approach, but I wanted a clear explanation for why my existing incision couldn't be used. I didn't feel that my concerns were thoughtfully addressed. I'm very grateful I continued my search. I ultimately had the procedure done with a different surgeon in Walnut Creek (the same office where I had my original surgery 18 years ago before my prior surgeon retired). When I asked where the new incision would need to be, he immediately explained we could use my existing incision. He noted that I had healed beautifully and that areolar incisions often heal very well and offer natural camouflage compared to the 3-4 inch incisions some surgeons make under the breast. My advice: do thorough research, ask detailed questions about incision options and techniques (including no-touch/Keller Funnel methods), and trust your instincts. No patient should feel rushed or made to feel like their questions about their own body are unimportant. I'm very thankful I chose not to proceed with this clinic. Update: In response to the owner's comment I'd like to clarify that I was not in a rush due to driving from the East Bay - I was staying locally that entire weekend and had set aside time for the consultation. As you can see there is a standard response. Dr Davis needs to fix it or find someone that will. I gave him a lot of money without any results of looking younger. I did the facelift so I would not have to do Botox or fillers. I am back to getting them done every six months. He is meticulous and very informative with helping you make the right decision tailored to you. From my Consultation to having surgery, Dr. Davis and his team are 100% top notch! I was also very impressed as to how well thought out his office has been designed. It was designed to have 3 entry/exits. One for Consults, surgery day and after surgery. When I went to get my surgery, you enter through that entry, basically no one sees you in your Jammies with no makeup, except the staff. That's a good thing! Then after surgery, you leave through another exit so you're not seen leaving with all your bandages! After your surgery you're pretty much out of it, and won't be able to discuss the after surgery details. So Dr. Davis sends you a video explaining how the surgery went and also his findings.
