The office looked nice upon arrival, but the overall environment felt cold and unwelcoming. The staff came across as dismissive, and the oversized exam room felt impersonal. During the consult, Dr. Davis told me reopening my original incision wasn't an option. When I asked why - especially given that I wasn't choosing very large implants and incision line had healed beautifully from my previous surgery - I felt rushed. His body language made me feel like my questions were unwelcome. I understand that extremely large implants may require a different incision approach, but I wanted a clear explanation for why my existing incision couldn't be used. I didn't feel that my concerns were thoughtfully addressed. I'm very grateful I continued my search. I ultimately had the procedure done with a different surgeon in Walnut Creek (the same office where I had my original surgery 18 years ago before my prior surgeon retired). When I asked where the new incision would need to be, he immediately explained we could use my existing incision. He noted that I had healed beautifully and that areolar incisions often heal very well and offer natural camouflage compared to the 3-4 inch incisions some surgeons make under the breast. My advice: do thorough research, ask detailed questions about incision options and techniques (including no-touch/Keller Funnel methods), and trust your instincts. No patient should feel rushed or made to feel like their questions about their own body are unimportant. I'm very thankful I chose not to proceed with this clinic. Update: In response to the owner's comment I'd like to clarify that I was not in a rush due to driving from the East Bay - I was staying locally that entire weekend and had set aside time for the consultation. My review reflects my personal experience and how I felt during the visit. I understand others may have different experiences, but this was mine. I'm simply sharing it to help others make informed decisions.

I had the C02 done in combination with other procedures, so I got a discount from his regular price of $4800 to $4560 in March 2025. I almost didn't do the procedure because I was already really close to the top of my budget for my other procedures but decided to go for it. The price included 2 post op facials to help with healing. Dr Kauffman certainly had one of the best bed side manners of any MD I've ever worked with. Friendly, patient, humorous. He does the procedures in his building located just off the prairie city exit off highway 50. When I awoke, my face felt like fire. It burned and I was miserable. It dissipated in about 2 hours and then zero pain at all. I did the vinegar soaks every 2 hours for about 5 days. It sounds weird, but I looked forward to them. It helped soothe the dry tight skin and clean up the aquaphor so I could reapply. The aquaphor helps protect the skin during healing but it slides around and got into my eyes occasionally (annoying but not painful) and the vinegar soaks helped keep things cleaned up. The skin was super delicate and peeled and peeled. I went back to work on day 10 and could not wear makeup because my texture was still a mess. My skin was also red still. I was able to start wearing tinted sunscreen at about 2 weeks. My face had red laser "track marks" for months. Then about 4 months after, the glow started. People started noticing and commenting. I noticed the quality of my skin transformed. It became smoother with rough patches gone, fine lines improved, sun spots gone, and my under eye hollows were gone. I'm now almost 16 months post and my skin still looks amazing. Strangers comment on my skin at least weekly and people ask me my secret. I'm so glad I splurged and that Dr Kauffman was aggressive with the laser. If you're going to get it done, I say go for it. I had to trust the process, because I'd read other women's journeys and no one talked about lasting redness and track marks but they probably didn't get ablative like Dr Kauffman . My inner voice was paranoid that my redness would never go away. But ultimately it disappeared and all that was left was gorgeous skin. Definitely recommend ablative C02. If you're going to do it, go for the real deal. Take the time off work and get the good 100% ablative C02, none of that fractional type or types where practitioners say "little downtime". The real deal has downtime and it was worth for me.

In my 40's I never considered optional body improvements by surgery. And here I was 20 years later wondering "Why not? I'm tired of the sagging breasts, muffin top & fat pockets." I lost a good amount of weight the past 2 years and although I was feeling really good about it & seeing the improvements, the biggest problem areas were still there. I talked to a friend who had gone to Dr M at Folsom Plastic Surgery. My final question was "after going thru everything, would you do it again?" Her answer was short & simple "100% in a minute." So after some research & discussion (mostly with myself, why do this now...in your 60's?) I made a consultation. After, there was no doubt, this was the best place. In this situation, I would not settle for less than the best. First, from all the 5-star reviews I have read, every one of them is spot on. Dr M and all his staff are incredible. During my consult Dr asked what was most important to me, then he proceeded to explain procedure options aimed at my goals. He made suggestions that would remove problem areas, lift and enhance breasts and end up with a natural appearance. I deciding on 3 procedures referred to as a mommy makeover. At both apts before surgery, he described the process in detail showing what he planned, how long it would take and what to expect post-op. He was so thorough I can't remember having many questions. And I felt so comfortable with him, the staff and process. I was never nervous or concerned. I knew I was in the hands of true professionals. I'm am 10 days post and there have been no problems or surprises. I've had 2 post apts and feel like I've gotten an A+ in recovery. Now the issue will be not to overdue the next month. So, if you're considering plastic surgery, have a consult with Dr M. I have no idea why I didn't do this years ago. And if you asked me would I do this again? I recently had breast augmentation with Dr. Mabourakh and I could not be any happier. My pre-surgery and post surgery experience was great. Dr. Mabourakh and staffs were always available to answer and help whenever I had questions. I was so scared before my surgery, but I did not even notice when my surgery start and finished. It was my first surgery ever and I was worry about anesthesia, I was watching TV and the anesthesiologist came by and left (and all I remember) next when I woke up I was ready to go home. Well, everyone told me that it's going to be very painful for a while, but honestly I only felt some pressure during the first week after surgery on my chest (no pain, but I was a little uncomfortable) and it was because I had small breasts and I was not used to have the bigger ones. Make sure you walk and do the exercises that Dr. is telling you to do on the first and second week, it really helps you to get more comfortable with your new breasts. I am so happy that my breasts feels so real, after 3 months my nipples feeling came back and some of the numbness that I had was gone away. I am highly recommend to do it if you are thinking about it for a while because it will give you so much confidence and mine are looking so natural and exactly what I wanted. I forgot to mention that I did silicon under the muscles, Dr. Mabourakh will help you to choose the right size base on your body and chest size. It's been 5 months so far and no problem at all, I just need to use my free laser session that they gave me after surgery to remove the small surgery marks under my breast. I highly suggest you to do it, I was thinking about it about more than 10 years but now every day when I see my beautiful breasts I'm telling my self I should have done it sooner and I am glad I finally did it. I am so happy I choose Dr. Mabourakh to do my procedure. After having 2 children and breast feeding both of them I knew I wanted to have breast augmentation, but of course I was very nervous about the procedure, the recovery and also very concerned about my family history of blood clots. My first appointment with Dr. Mabourakh I brought my husband with me. We had many questions and concerns that we wanted to ask the doctor before we made a decision on whether or not I would be able to do this kind of procedure. Dr. Mabourakh answered every question we had and addressed every concern I had about my family history of blood clotting. He took the proper precautions and had me meet with my family doctor to have a full physical done as well as ordered a blood test to help put me at ease. After we met with him that day, my husband and I knew we found the perfect doctor to do my breast augmentation. Luckily all my test results came back normal so I was thrilled to be able to follow through with the surgery. The day of the surgery the staff was so kind and again even though I was incredibly nervous Dr. Mabourakh and his team made me feel so comfortable. I knew I was in great hands and they assured me that I everything was going to be fine. It's been 2 months now since my procedure and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Mabourakh knew exactly the look I was going for and helped me choose the right CC's and I'm so grateful that I took his advise. I would highly recommend Dr. Mabourakh to my friends and family. I feel like ME AGAIN! I could not be happier with my results. I had a breast augmentation done 16 years ago (with a different Dr.) and I was never quite happy. I had saline replaced with gel in 2009. Still not happy. I made the choice to permanently remove the implants and have a full lift at the start of 2022, with Dr. Mabourakh. I chose to go with Dr. Mabourakh because of his well known reputation and many years of a successful practice, with happy patient results. I had consultations with three other local doctors, and felt the most confident and at ease with him and his staff. This is a BIG decision and anyone considering surgery needs to do their homework and sole searching. At my consultation I had a list of questions, and I was happy that they were able to not only answer but EXPLAIN the process. The day of surgery, his staff was so loving ( as I was VERY nervous) I felt cared for and in more than capable hands. The surgery went so well, and I cried when I saw the results, HAPPY TEARS! I immediately noticed that my neck was no longer tight, I could turn my head with ease, no soreness! I felt lighter, svelter, and immensely happier. I did end up with a slight infection (which happens), BUT he and his staff were on it, and though Dr. M was out of the country, he called in the antibiotics and I was well on my way to healing. Dr. Mabourakh did my friends surgery several years ago, and I was very impressed with her results. When I was finally ready to pursue the tummy tuck I'd been thinking of since my first baby, and the breast lift and augmentation I was badly in need of as gravity and chronic illness took my chest, he was on the list of surgeons I met with. Several other friends recommended their doctors, but overall I was most impressed with Dr. Mabourakh's work, and his mellow demeanor. His staff is exclusively female, the anesthesiologist he works with is also female. I always felt comfortable in their presence. Everyone is very polite and happy. The office is always clean. When I had questions and concerns about post operative care, his staff responded quickly and professionally. I am currently one week out from my procedures. I just had me second post op appointment. I recently had 2 procedures done at the same time - rhinoplasty and breast augmentation. One would assume that having 2 done at once would double the chances of having some negative to say. But that couldn't be farther from the truth. Dr. M and his office made the whole experience easy, simple and frankly, totally enjoyable. From the initial visit, the staff was friendly and eager to help. Dr. M made me feel completely comfortable, answering all of my questions and giving great advice. The actual surgical experience was a breeze. As soon as I arrived, I was made comfortable. The nurse and anesthesiologist had told me they'd been working with Dr. M for more than 10 years each. The familiarity that comes with working together over long periods of time was apparent as they prepared for surgery. They are obviously a good team. Because of other experiences, I've come to believe that a surgeon's skills are more apparent during a recovery than the actual surgery. If a doctor does excellent work the patient's recovery is easier and less painful. The fact that I've had very little pain throughout my recovery is a testament to Dr. M's. skill. I've had bruises that were more painful than this. The incisions are amazing! It was apparent right after surgery that the incisions were done so well that there will be very little scarring. I highly recommend anyone considering surgery to go talk to Dr. M. I couldn't be happier with the results! read more

I had a small insecurity with the bump on my nose for as long as I can remember. I also had slight trouble breathing out of my nose sometimes. I went into have a consultation with Dr. Mabourakh just to discuss everything - but to make no decisions. He was absolutely amazing! He made clear I knew all of the pros and cons and helped very well educating me about the procedure that I was asking for. I ultimately decided to go through with the surgery. It was the most positive surgical experience I have EVER gone through! The staff was so incredibly friendly, even the anesthesiologist! (He was so funny!) After the surgery... I only had one week of wearing a bandage and I honestly had NO PAIN! After the bandage was removed, I went up to many follow up appointments which all were very pleasant! Bottom line - I was extremely skeptic that I was going to find a reliable, board certified, & nice plastic surgeon near Folsom, but I did! I would HIGHLY recommend this center and Dr. Mabourakh. I'm so happy with the results :) The only bad that came out of this procedure at all was the spray they had to put in my nose before I had surgery was slightly uncomfortable and burned a little bit. Also, they put me on Oxycontin for a pain killer and that in itself worked wonderfully but I made the mistake of quitting it cold turkey - DON'T do that. Weening yourself off hard drugs like that is much better :) read more

Hi!! I went to see Dr. Mabourakh through a recommendation. I asked about his work from someone I know because I could see first hand her results from her Breast Augmentation were really great. She told me her experience was great too! I booked an appointment for the same type of procedure, breast augmentation and possible lift. I'd lost over 150 Lbs and with that my breasts didn't end up the way I'd have liked. I needed them to be refilled and fixed if necessary. Dr. Mabourakh suggested all I really needed was a breast augmentation and the lift wasn't necessary. I was so happy! I knew immediately he was a good surgeon because he was honest even though he could've made more had he done a lift on me as well. What a great Doctor! I am now over 3 months post op and I can't tell you how pleased I am with the results. His recommendations were spot on and my profile is more lovely and curvy than I could have ever dreamed. The scarring is almost non existent and underneath the crease of the breast so its not noticeable at all. 5 Stars for sure and two thumbs up!! His staff is also very nice! No pressure with Dr. Mabourakh. He is an artist in his work. I had a facelift in 2010 believing that I would never have anything like that done, but time and stress take a toll and wouldn't you know it....I needed help. I went to his office for a consult, and left fully confident in his abilities. He put me at ease, because he knows what he's doing and is confident in abilities. The staff? They're wonderful, I continue to have facials done by Heidi, she's excellent, makes you feel special and I highly recommend her. I am contemplating eyelift surgery and will again go to Dr. Mabourakh with absolutely no hesitation. One should know that Dr. Mabourakh is a minimalist in is work, natural looking, refined and exquisite workmanship.Brilliant results. I first met Dr. Mabourakh and his wonderful staff five years ago for lip plumping and to discuss my recent diagnosis of breast cancer. My lips were beautifully plumped and discussions centered around breast reconstruction AFTER treatment and five years. Well, it's been five years with no cancer drugs and healthy living. My treat....breast reconstruction, tummy tuck, and lipo suction of the outer thighs. After 4 weeks, I cannot begin to explain the transformation of my body. The breast were lifted, no silicone, and look amazingly natural. The tummy tuck removed years of stretch marks, fat, and excessive "rolls." This procedure was worth the pain, patience, and price. I have lost two dress sizes and possibly three once the swelling decreases. The only negative here are the "drains" which are uncomfortable and painful at times. Dr. Mabourakh is certainly an expert in his field of "body" reconstruction based on the beautiful results he recommended and I luckily received. I went to dr. Mabourakh for breast implants a year ago. I chose Dr.M after looking at all of the plastic surgeon's in the Sacramento area. All of the others best did not look that great and its my body so i wanted to make sure i got the best. The office is filled with nice informative employees. My first appointment i was nervous and unsure but Dr.M told me everything i wanted to know and soooo much more. When i left there i know he was the doctor for me. All my appointment after were just as great. I think they did accidently schedule me and another lady in the client at the same time for surgery, however that didnt affect me much because they just moved my appointment to an earlier time. The surgery went awesome and efficiently. It felt like i was in and out, of course that could be because of the anestetics. All my check up went well, my boobs look amazing, and I tell everyone to go to him for any kind of plastic surgery. I loved this office. I saw Dr. Mabourakh and I walked out of his office very confident that he was the right doctor for me! I was referred to him by a couple of great girl friends. I was on time for my appointment. I waited in the reception area for 5 minutes(staff very nice and helpful) and saw the doc within another 5 minutes. Dr. Mabourakh was an excellent listener, caring and spent time with me and addressed my concerns. He was a very clear communicator..I left feeling as if I was in good hands. I would recommend him to anyone. The day of surgery, I was a bit nervous but who isn't prior to surgery. The staff and Dr. Mabourakh were very comforting and made me feel at ease. Once my procedure was done, I was a bit swollen but after a few days, I couldn't believe the compliments I was receiving. I am very happy with the outcome! I am extremely happy I decided to use Dr. Mabourakh for my recent surgery. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and caring. They made me feel at ease by taking the time to explain everything and were very patient when I got a little anxious about the process. The office was very nice and relaxing. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful whenever I called. On the day of my surgery the nurses and anesthesiologist were very calming and sweet, they made the experience easier for someone like me who is a little more anxious in those situations. Feel free to reach out for an in depth review. Regret coming here. It was an obvious red flag when the esthetician wasn't able to answer most of my questions, specifically basic post procedure questions. Also refused to answer some questions twice, as though asking a question more than once was deemed unacceptable and non-billable. Said they only used "natural" products, and DO NOT use hydrogen peroxide, claiming "hydrogen peroxide isn't natural," but that is in fact the product they used. Lots of conflicting and contradictory information was provided. The esthetician seemed rushed and impatient. Applied the product so quickly and inadequately with her hair flopping around my mouth. Did not have good results. In fact, resulted in severe chemical damage due to lack of adequate gum protection applied. The before and after photos confirm chemical damage and gum recession. Save your teeth. DO NOT COME HERE. It's a business that's purely focused on making money. Their clinical practice questions their moral character.

I'm 38, almost 39 and the past couple of years I started to notice a little bit of sagging and fullness in my neck and super loose skin on my upper eyelids. It's been difficult to apply makeup on my eyes the past couple of years. What I liked about facetite is it tightens the neck as well as my lower face and I definitely had fullness in my lower face. Procedure day was great! I took some Valium to help me relax. Dr. Liu carefully marked me and made sure I knew what he was going to do and that I was happy with the plan. Numbing me up was the worst part, but even so, it was completely tolerable, especially with the Valium on board. He was gentle and took his time and after just a couple minutes I was numb and then felt no pain the rest of the procedure. He had some good music playing, I was able to talk if I needed to and he made sure to check in with me throughout the treatment. When we were done his extremely kind and knowledgeable assistant put a compression wrap on me, and then I was on my way home. When I got home I started icing and kept my head elevated. I took two doses of pain meds but honestly I probably didn't even need it. The next morning I woke up with zero pain, unless I touched the treatment areas. But I'm on day three and haven't needed a pain med, except for that first day. I only have three tiny sutures for the facetite. One behind each ear and one of the chin. My neck is SNATCHED and my eyes are like they were 20 years ago. No more wrinkling when I put on eyeliner or creasing of my makeup as the day goes on and I'm so happy with this whole experience. I had no idea my neck could look this good!! Highly recommend FaceTite with Dr. Liu.
