Nice selection of top quality leather and motorcycle gear and accessories for both men and women…read more Came in because I was looking for a helmet and was impressed with their leather goods and boots. Ended up finding a great pair of riding boots that were practical for a rider (vs a passenger) and cute to boot! They didn't have my size but were happy to order them for me. Got a call about two weeks later and went to pick them up. They didn't charge me when they ordered them because they wanted to make sure they'd work for me before they took my $. I like that policy! Funny how a good pair of boots makes the riding experience. Not my first time on a bike but first time owning one and TBH, I was intimidated (hadn't ridden in a very long time and even then I hadn't ridden much, mostly been a passenger). But wearing those boots with a good sole that gripped made a huge difference. Was it all in my head? Probably not, but I'll take all the help I can get. They have an embroidery machine on site and we're making patches when I went to pick up the boots. Very cool store. Helpful employees. Great selection of riding gear for a relatively small store. Thrilled it's local and so convenient. (Now for the DMV to get me my bloody title and plates so I can get to check out my new ride for real. Because of pandemic been waiting 4 weeks and it could be longer. But that doesn't make any sense because DMV counter services are limited to appointments. Has DMV reduced staff by 75-80% to have increased turnaround time from one week to four or five? See what I mean?)

I wore them a good amount and found that one of the heels was wearing through again and, this time, worn down much faster than when I had originally bought them. I came back to Westbury Shoe Repair on March 5th to complain that one shoe's heel was fine but the other was already worn through. I wanted to get them repaired for free because it had only been about 2 months that I had worn them without much issue. They told me they would not repair them for free and made it clear to me that they do not stand by their product or customer satisfaction. I will be finding a new shoe repair store even if it is a little farther away.

Worst experience ever!!! My husband dropped off my shoes for me at the shop to be repaired and…read morethen called me to ask how much my shoes cost. When he learned that the repair would cost almost two times MORE than I originally paid for the shoes, he immediately went back into the store to ask for his money and my shoes back. The owner refused and said that I needed to come to the store. I did within the hour and requested my shoes and money back. He refused numerous times and was increasingly verbally abusive and incredibly rude. (I was not rude, I just kept saying that I just wanted my shoes and money back). The owner told me at the end of the "conversation" that he would see me in court. I said that was crazy -- going to court was not worth the time or the effort for the return of $75 and a $40 pair of shoes. I don't even want the shoes back. They will just make me sad every time I wear them. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT use this store for any services. Overpriced, shoddy work and horrendous customer service. Follow-up - My husband went back to the store after I wrote this review to attempt once more to retrieve my shoes. He found my shoes in the middle of the road outside of the shop. I can only assume that the owner decided to throw the shoes out in the street after I left? Wow. Unbelievable. You can't make this stuff up. What kind of store owner does this? In any event, the owner was gone at that time and his wife was kind enough to refund our money. I would still never go to this shoe repair shop. The owner is not professional to say the least.

While Brett, the owner, has beautiful things to sell, so do many other stores. What has made me a loyal customer, and what sets this shop apart from others, is the integrity with which Brett does business. Whether it's a repair of a piece of high-value jewelry, or a purchase, I can trust Brett's expertise, professionalism & fair pricing. Brett's customer service is amazing - he even delivered a necklace my daughter bought from him to a restaurant, where we were having a family dinner celebration, so that my daughter, who was returning to her home in Dallas the next morning, could take it with her. He was modifying its length for her and it wasn't quite ready by closing time. Who does that? Brett! I've been delighted to recommend Needful Things and More to my friends!

They have an eclectic mix of things. I especially loved looking at the vintage rings and watches. Don't let how tiny the shop is fool you, you could spend a good amount of time looking through all the jewelry. I'd highly recommend stopping by this shop if you're looking for a unique piece of jewelry. It was easy to park right out front. The owner is very kind about asking if you want to look at anything or have him open the glass. The front section is all jewelry and the back is mostly home decor and home goods.
