Not sure where to start. We upgraded tonnage, No Tests were…read moreperformed even after installing the wrong unit, then bringing out the bigger one we paid for, and still no J Calculation test or any other tests. I requested that the Refrigerant line and drain line run parallel, so I could encapsulate them with solid plastic drain gutter, being that I expressed my concerns about any moisture under our Pier and Beam home. Still, they didn't do that, after replacing the wrong unit they installed. And there wasn't a pea trap installed either. The installation of the air handler was a horrible job, flashing sticking out, away from the new system. Yes, Brad seems very attentive. Each time he has been here, there is always a new fresh face. That says a lot about a company. What thru me, is that he's sending me an email to rate what they screwed up with a review? Don't take my word for it, check it out, when upgrading AC tonnage, what tests are needed before and after installation. Brad also said that, there is Moisture around the insulated Refrigerant line? Not only all inside the insulation of the Refrigerant line, but also the water drain line. For a pier and beam house, that's too much moisture!

This was my first time using Lone Star Air Conditioning and Heating but it surely won't be my last. feel like people should know about my experience…read more This company replaced the evaporator coil in my HVAC system. Immediately after the repair, the unit began leaking a significant amount of water from the air handler that it had never leaked before. They came out and blew out the primary drain but the problem persists. We've contacted the company multiple times over the past several weeks asking them to come back and inspect their work, but they have repeatedly failed to do so. This is the 1 star review I will be leaving for the ac company At this point, we're left with a bucket collecting water every day while waiting for someone to honor their repair. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to stand behind your work and leaving a customer with an unresolved issue is unacceptable. They have consistently been dodging our calls and requests for them to come remedy this issue. I can't recommend a company that won't return to address a problem that started immediately after their own repair.

Last evening, the ac stopped cooling; the fan was running but the compressor would not come on. I read about York AC online and was impressed by the reviews. Today, a Saturday BTW, we called and they kindly agreed to send someone to look at our system. Early afternoon, a wonderful tech named Brad worked us into his busy day and came out to see what was wrong. In just a few minutes, he found that two terminals had burned out in the compressor. He replaced those and our home is now cool again. This is an honest and upright company, and they have our business for life. We will absolutely be hiring York AC to replace our old unit when the time comes. Brad, you are my hero! With gratitude, Beverly

My garage was long overdue for a new roof! I put it off for almost two years but this spring I was…read morebound and determined to get it done. I reviewed local companies online, and asked bids from three of them. Brian at Encore Roofs won the bid. He took time during the estimate visit to answer my noob questions and the various product options. He also offered to install a ridge vent for a very modest additional fee, and explained the benefits of having one. I had already been trying to decide how to best vent that space because it's muderously hot in there in the summertime. He is very professional, even down to his work clothes, yet friendly and patient. He's the kind of guy you've never met but you'd swear you know him from "somewhere" (in a good way, of course). He was also the most reasonably priced: right about what I thought it should cost for a two car garage with a simple roof. And his warranty was a couple years longer than the other bidders, as well. In less than a week after I had put out for bids, the roof was completed, just in time for a new spate of rain showers. I was amazed at how efficiently and meticulously Brian works. The roof was never left exposed to the elements during the process, and he completely cleaned up afterwards. You can tell he takes immense pride in a job well done, and it shows in the high quality of the finished product. So far, the roof has not leaked, and I doubt it ever will. I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend Encore Roofs for your roofing job.

I highly recommend Brian for any roof repairs.
