A poorly installed gutter caused damage to my roof over a couple hard winters. Brian was quick to come and provide an estimate. He was more than willing to use the roofing I had left from a recently added addition to lower the cost. He was pretty busy, but said he would fit me in at the first possible time to be sure it was done before the weather turned and caused even more damage. He contacted me within a short time and got the job done. During a recent heavy rainstorm, I suddenly found water dripping in at the top of a window frame and also forming a large bubble on the ceiling not far from a corner of a skylight. I went to Angie's List; I had never used that site before and did not know what to expect. Brian phoned me back within a couple of hours and was here first thing the next morning to assess the situation. The problem was with the skylight. He took photos of the skylight and other vented areas on the roof and explained the situation to me with clarity and professionalism. He came back soon and repaired the areas that needed attention, did so in under an hour, and demonstrated not only knowledge, but pride in his workmanship. I felt his charge was fair and reasonable. I don't even know how I was so lucky to find Brian, but I'm glad I did. I had a few repairs to the roof and knew I needed my gutters cleaned and Brian came right out and did it. He was so communicative and clear about how much the service would cost. He helpfully spotted other issues and things I could do preemptively to keep my gutters clean (installing filters) and explained what he could do and priced it out for me. Don't let the name fool you, Brian at Encore is the roofing professional everyone is looking for. We have had Brian out twice now. The first time, he fixed a minor issue that another company quoted over $200, and Brian did it for NO CHARGE. This time we had him back to clean the gutters, which had been replaced by a different company after last year's snow and ice tore off a section. He told us that the gutters were not installed either with the correct materials or at the correct pitch, and so were not draining towards the downspout!!! Again, we came up with a temporary quick fix, but we will eventually have to redo those gutters. When the time comes, we will definitely hire Encore again. read more

Brian cleaned the sycamore debris off my roof and also cleaned out my rain gutters and clogged downspouts. Then he pressure-washed my deck, which was really dirty.
