The BEST cappuccino I've ever had in Granada!
    Valerie G.

More than a grocery store, it's also a little spot to get some fresh made breakfast and excellent cappuccino. The Lomo with bread and tomatoes and cabra cheese, absolutely delicious. I didn't give it 5 stars because I went to unlock my "2€ for breakfast thing" through the app but they didn't accept it. :/ it wasn't pricy but still, kinda made me sad to not use a perfectly valid coupon. Lol

We had just arrived & unpacked, so with a healthy appetite we began the hunt for Granada flavor. We found it at Al Sur de Granada. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. She spoke both English and Spanish. The fare was not what I was accustomed to, but everything from the dressing on my salad( stacked with big mushrooms, radishes, field greens,& eggs) to the soup,& tea was very tasty. We will return for more!

    Excellent craft ale

I tracked this lovely place, situated right by the Elvira Gate, down via friends on Twitter. It's an essential place to visit if you are a lover of the fine food, wine and craft beer that is produced in this region but which can be hard to find in the typical bars and restaurants of Granada. It's also one of the very few places I found which sells fresh milk. A combination of a shop and cafe, it has a few tables where you can have a drink and a snack or a meal. It's by no means the cheapest place in town but as the man says "you pay your money and you take you choice" - quality never does come cheap in my experience. I was keen to try some of the local craft beer which I had heard about and the very friendly and knowledgable staff pointed me in the direction of couple of excellent brews. If wine is your thing there is an excellent selection which you can try by the glass; all of which can be bought and taken away to enjoy in the comfort of your abode. I'm looking forward to my next visit already ....

They serve food and sell the ingredients as well!

Smaller, cozy full of character Bar area and the whole place is filled with bottles. 5 tables outside but for me inside was much more interesting. I ordered a Verdejo and my Server brought out a complimentary tomato Tapa and Salami. Tomatoes were super fresh and slightly salted-delicious! Everything on the menu looked good! I ordered the Sturgeon, Foie Gras and White Sausage. The Sturgeon was exquisite with the tomatoes and peppers pairing perfectly! Should have taken the big order. Foie Gras and white sausage (mild) were simple, tasty and didn't disappoint. My Server was friendly and worked to bring out the dishes as they were ready given my time crunch. About an 8 minute walk from the city center and well worth it. Make the stop for some high quality/reasonably priced Tapas and Wine in a unique space.
