I've been in the morning as well as before closing. It's always busy. Guess it's a good thing on their part. Like mentioned, I don't recommend coming in for the last minute holiday decorations. You would think as it's early in December, they'll have some things left over. Well, majority of things are gone. Loads of the isles have been cleared already. I've even seen some employees taking down the fixtures already. It's good for them but if you're looking for the decoration, I do recommend coming early. Like a month or so. They have them out early and most are on sale. It's still half off for Christmas items. You'll still get things there as they have random stuffs. But majority of holiday items are gone. I don't know if they'll restock anything now but if you're not looking for something particular, I'm sure they'll have it. It's also a store that literally carries everything. It's basically a Joann's, Michael's and a Home Goods all under one roof. There's everything that you can want or need in a craft store of such. Also, why is it that all the store seems to be short with cashiers. There's always a massive line in the store and there's like 3, maybe 4 cashier. If you coming, just make sure not to be in a rush. But I'm sure you'll end up leaving with one thing or a cart of things. They alway do have amazing discounts.

This shop is located on the 2nd floor of The Block plaza. Coming from Sawtelle, you into a hallway and up a set of stairs. You are immediately greeted with everything TCG related. There are sealed products along the wall, show cases with graded cards and fan made merch?, folders with loose singles. Then along side of the area near the window you'll see table set up for gaming. There is a lot to check out, I can't say the prices are retail but more likely at competitive market rates. The craziest part is, that is not all. Walking towards the opposite side of the shop are sports cards. The area is not equally as large as the TCG side but there was for sure a lot to look at. My niece was looking for Pokemon Full Arts and she was able to find a double handful just by browsing the binders. Parking: private structure, street VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

I looked up the Yelp page and to my surprise it was a TCG shop. Highly recommend stopping by to look around. Of course we had to take a yonder. They have a ton of PSA graded and bulk cards for cheap. Love that they have bulk cards laying around for you to look through, some are in binders some are in small boxes. Also have a ton of seating for their community events, including trade nights and tournaments. Kept clean, tons of trashcans at the end of each table. We visited on a Saturday that was pretty warm, high 80s with high foot traffic and it stayed well ventilated and cool with AC.

I especially want to give a shoutout to Ryan, one of the buyers. He truly goes above and beyond, taking the time to carefully evaluate and price each card fairly. If you're looking to buy or sell cards, I highly recommend stopping by. This place is truly a gem in the hobby community.

There are several display cases spaced close together with barely enough room for multiple people to be looking. There's nowhere to stand that doesn't make you feel like you're in the way. The Collectors Court was very disappointing. Prices change and markets fluctuate, but it's hard seeing cards that 5 months ago were $.25 suddenly being $1. $.75 may not be a lot to some, but it can add up quickly. I saw a 2025 Mookie Betts base card with a $4 price tag. Inserts that were $.25 a few weeks ago last time I was here are now $1. They have boxes of "premium singles" for specific players but all I've seen are base cards, not even any parallels. There are two tables now tucked inside the section that have too many chairs smushed in. You can't look through cards without having someone breathing down your neck. Most of the employees are great and friendly but I probably won't be making the trip up anymore. The shop is clearly shifting their demographic to more upscale. Which there's ultimately nothing wrong with! It just sadly isn't for me anymore.

As a middle-aged father looking for a hobby we could share that didn't involve screens or video games, I'd read a bit about Gunpla and decided to give it a shot. What a find! The owner was incredibly helpful and patient with us, taking the time to understand what we were looking for and guiding us to first sets that were perfect for our skill levels. His enthusiasm was genuine, and it made the whole experience fun and welcoming, never overwhelming for complete beginners like us. The prices are very reasonable, which is a huge plus when you're testing out a new hobby with your kid. We both walked out with our own kits, and I have to say, I'm just as hooked as my son! Building these models has been a surprisingly relaxing and rewarding experience, and I'm already looking forward to tackling more complex builds and refining them. I'm planning to return soon to pick up a few more sets for Christmas gifts and to expand my own collection. If you're looking for a screen-free activity to share with your children or just want to explore the world of Gunpla, I highly recommend stopping by this shop. The passion and knowledge of the owner really make all the difference.
