I go to the gas station where I cannot exit my van. The door handle will not work. He fixed one problem and caused another. He come and picked it up. Third time, pick it up, open the door and a part falls off. He tells me how 100 people been in and out the door. Bla bla not his fault. When the part arrives (for the original issue), I have to bring it back. Tommy told me his shop " had a come to Jesus moment. And he is the only worker now." Asked me, "how bad do you need it?" We agree on a pick up date. Date comes, not ready. My family van sat there for a week and he didn't even touch it! Tommy was so unprofessional when I tried to question him about it. My husband had to take over the situation. Forth time I pick it up, issue is fixed. Now I have no ac. None. Blowing hot. Tommy tells me husband bitching and moaning won't fix it, bring it back up. We had to report him to the warranty company three times. We were informed he had already been paid for the work weeks prior. He never did fix what he broke. The warranty company had to refer us somewhere else. Located in St. Peters. Not close for us or convenient. Unfortunately, I will probably spend less on gas going there and back, than I did taking my van back and forth to Tommy. My family was inconvenienced with TNT Auto sales for almost a month. Without a vehicle for most of that time. Tommy responded with yelling and interrupting you when you tried to speak. Very unprofessional. He is very good at talking and over promising. Do NOT trust Tommy at TNT Auto sales!

While driving, my wife felt water dripping on her feet in the passenger seat. We tried getting into a couple local shops, however, the wait time was to long to wait for. I feared that I was going to have to replace my heater core, and I knew that was a somewhat complicated job, because the dash would probably have to be removed. In a frenzy, I reached out to a cousin of mine who referred me to Paul at Auto World Tire and Auto. She praised their knowledge and expertise, as well as speed of service. I in turn reached out and made contact with Paul. He kind of assessed the problem over the phone, but wanted to be certain, and asked me to bring it down straight away. I didn't have to wait days or weeks for service, and that was a relief. Upon my arrival, I was able to see that their operation was busy. This is a good sign, as it represents good will and good service. I always fear the shops that have no customers. We arrived, Paul greeted me, asked for more information, took my keys and after a brief wait, they pulled the vehicle in. They proceeded to visually investigate everything. Even after, and knowing that I was going to be returning through some hot climates, they went on to perform a series of tests to be certain of their diagnosis. It turned out it was only a plugged drainage port in the heater box that was failing to drain. My charge was incredibly reasonable, and I have nothing but praise for the prompt and attentive service. When you travel long distances with your family, one always elects for safety over everything. Paul and his crew were not only generous in their understanding of my time predicament, but they addressed the problem straight away. I left their shop with a high level of certainty that there was nothing to worry about. Will I return to them for future service? Absolutely. Also, I think it's important to mention, that mechanics out here in CA just don't seem as knowledgeable as those of the Midwest. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but I always appreciate the data that comes from the testing and not just an opinion. We made it back safe and sound and I traveled through some areas along the way where the temperatures were in excess of 110 degrees. I took my car here for a safety and emission inspection. I am a little torn on the review type due…read moreto my experience, so I will list a "good and Bad." The Good: - They were able to get me in quickly. Many places hem and haw about inspections, but I didn't get that impression here. - They have a phone/tablet charging stain in the waiting area. Pretty neat touch, but the cords do not extend, so forget about plugging in your device from the couch. The Not-so-Good - Parking? Forget about it. I have never gotten a decent spot, and usually have to park across the street at the railroad tracks. They have a VERY small parking lot that has been full each time I was there. - My inspection failed because of a leak at the muffler exhaust flanges. Another shop inspector told me that he would never have failed me for this. I looked at the State requirements, and it seems it would, in fact, fail because of the flange leaks. - Here is what I REALLY didn't like. In order to fix this, they wanted to replace the resonators, pipes, and mufflers at nearly $1400. When I asked if the flanges could simply be cut out and a new pipe welded in place, the guy actually LAUGHED at me and said that is not something they would be able to do. Let me be frank... I work on my own cars and am VERY good at recognizing BS when I hear it. His laughter made me feel like I asked a stupid question. At least, it was an attempt at that, maybe. I am extremely well-qualified. After he laughed at me, it changed my impression of this shop... permanently. I am livid about this, and that other people may be prone to not questioning them. - What did I do instead? For a few dollars, I cut out the flanges and welded in pipes. Right... I said, "a few dollars." Not $1400. After the repairs, I brought my car back, and it passed inspection just fine. I had an opportunity to listen to some interactions while I was waiting. I am guessing a "manager" was in the lobby and on the phone while the other worker was trying to talk to customers. It was almost impossible because the manager was being so cocky and loud. I did not like that, either, because it gave the impression of cockiness and rudeness. Would I take my vehicles back here? NO... NO, NO, NO! Laughing at my question is NOT a good response. $1400 for replacing exhaust, resonators (etc.) that DID NOT need it vs. a simple fix I did myself left a permanent negative impression about this business. Making me feel like an idiot was not cool. It left me wondering how many other people fall into this trap and blindly hand out money. FOLKS... Ask questions... Get second opinions! Don't settle for the first answer, and NEVER allow someone to laugh at you and make it sound impossible. I'm sorry guys - No blank check today.
