Guy calls me from the shop to ask if I can drop the car off instead of sitting in the shop because it could take awhile, I said that's fine. So the next morning I go to the shop and try to drop off my car only to be told that they don't perform transmission anything anymore. I've been a customer here for over 10 years. Never had an issue until 2023. New management has brought their reliability way down. Love the tires that comes with free tire balancing, rotation and allingment. However, if you make an appointment for 8:00AM, tell them you.need your vehicle at a certain time and drop it off, they more than likely won't have that free work done till they close. More than likely they put the free work at the end of the work day line up. read more

We've used this Firestone for over 10 years. They are honest, helpful, and compassionate. I've had several tires patched, which is inexpensive. They have great quality tires, but if you can't afford their brand, they will try to locate tires in your price range. They also call with an estimate before beginning work. So, no surprises. They are always busy, which is a sign that they have a loyal following. There are several other tire and repair places nearby, but this one is always busy. Even with the constant flow of customers, they typically complete work within 24 hours unless they have to order special parts. Even though they were busy, I once got a flat on my way to work and they fit me in and changed it while I waited. Also, check with your employer- many give employee discounts at Firestone. read more

WOW!! I can't tell you how awesome this Firestone is! We've been using them for over 13 years now. Our suv was in for new brake booster we picked it up today to find vehicle still acting up. MARK was at the LSL Firestone today and went out of his way to not only help us with a rental vehicle to get us through the week but also ordered a tow to come pick up my suv since I couldn't make it home. Truly horrible place! Took my van in for 4 new tires and alignment. After being ignored by Rob I dropped it. They called said it was ready and I asked about alignment and the tpms sensor I requested changing. Neither was done. The then called back and said done. Picked up and tpms light on prior to leaving the lot! That evening noticed blank Chevy lug caps missing. A week later brakes started vibrating badly. THEY LEFT 23 of the 32 lugs LOOSE!!!! Only does business one way, his. Called day before to have tires from tire rack I had delivered there. Said just drop off car, they don't take appointments. Next day left work early to drop off car and wait. Got there at 4:45pm and they close at 7pm. Was told if I had bought tires from them they would put them on that evening but installs from other retailers they do it at their convinence. That didn't make sense so I resisted his logic as tire rack has them as an installer on their site so there must be an agreement and not treat me as a second-class customer just because I didn't buy the tires from him. I was told had I asked him to work with him we would be having a completely different conversation. So it came down to personality rather than professionalism. After all I'm the customer and I don't expect to get everything but you can't tell me had I bought the tires from you you can put it on tonight but you don't have time since I bought it from somewhere else. Needless to say he told me I could take my tires and go elsewhere which I did. This place just had some bad media press for ripping customers off. My advice is to have your tires delivered to a different location other than Firestone. Went right over to Walmart neighbor happy to put my tires on right then and they were only open till 7pm. If you want to do business with Firestone it's up to you but you'll be doing it by their rules not customer service. Plan to report this to Better Business Bureau as well as tire rack. read more

We've been loyal Firestone customers for 15-plus years and we've used this location since it opened, but things are headed downhill quickly. The guy who used to manage this location was amazing (tall guy; kind of looked like Brad Garrett). He's gone, and so is the customer service. We've had several issues in the past year. The final straw happened today. I dropped my car off on Sunday evening for tire rotation/balance and alignment check. I have the lifetime plans for both. They called on Monday afternoon and told me the work was done. I picked up the car on Tuesday morning, which is when I discovered the tire rotation/balance hadn't been done. They blamed some kind of intake error, which is tough to understand because "TIRE ROTATION/BALANCE" is checked on my drop-off sheet. Making the matter worse, they didn't offer to make me whole. My only options were to (1) spend part of my morning waiting for them to do the work they said they'd already done; or (2) spend part of another day waiting for them to do the work they'd already done. There was no recognition of my inconvenience or loss of time. This is no way to run a business. "Customer service" implies making the customer whole. Someone else will have to teach that lesson to this store. We're moving on from Firestone. read more

Ladies!!! Do not take your car here for repairs!!! I had a single tire replaced after a flat and was encouraged at the last minute to have an alignment done. I agreed to my own demise. Within 2 months I had to replace all 4 tires and get a new alignment. When I approached the manager Ryan to request a refund for the work and tire that I had paid for - he declined to do so. I noted that one of 2 things had occurred: 1. My tires were already in disrepair and the technician failed to notify me at the time of the tire being replaced, or 2. the alignment had caused the damage to the remaining tires. Ladies (and gentlemen) for your belts and threads to be exposed and tires to be chopped in less than 2 months time one would almost have to have driven off road for extended periods of time. This is not the case!! We are on quarantine!! To add insult to injury the manager Ryan talked down to me and interrupted me multiple times in an effort to make HIS point that I knew nothing , I was wrong and he was right! I wouldn't recommend that you take a bicycle here to get a tire repaired let alone a car!! read more

purchased 4 tires and had the AC repaired. Had the exact tires I wanted (second set of same model on my car) and found me the best deal. With the sale they were actually less expensive than the same tires 3 years ago. Usually when I take a car in for service, I know before I go what needs to be done. In this case on my AC I didn't. They could have told me anything and wouldn't have known the difference. They identified the problem and replaced the part with no extraneous work to pad the bill. read more

Left and went directly to a stand alone state inspection station who only inspects vehicles for the state of Missouri......guess what it passed? Absolutely the best garage I have ever visited. The place is clean, professional and here's the hard thing to believe but they are actually honest. They recommend preventative maintenance but don't force you to get things done on your vehicle. No up charge. I was sitting in their shop and reading a saying by the founder of Firestone in regards to honesty. I kept having doubts as I know most garages don't operate with that notion. If I could give zero I would. I had tires sent to them to install. I called to schedule my appointment, they asked what type of car I had and what tires were coming when I made the appointment. I called to verify the tires had arrived and then brought the car in. Left the car and went to work in downtown st Louis. 3 hours later they called me and told me they couldn't install the tires because these were non run flat tires and my car came with factory installed run flat tires. So, I had to completely ruin by day, borrow a truck from a friend, and find another place to install the tires. This is absolutely obsurd and caused me a great deal of grief. I called the dealership and plaza tire in lake st Louis and BOTH said they would have no problems installing the tires. Plaza could get me in right away so I took it there. The car runs amazing with the new tires and a lot better ride, not to mention they will wear better. The dealership did the factory alignment because Plaza couldn't do it on the BMW. I think that Firestone had every intent of hoping that they could sell me the run flat tires instead. Terrible, terrible. This happened a few weeks ago and my blood is boiling again just thinking about it. I've made the run flat switch on my last 3 vehicles and never an issue with someone telling me they couldn't do it. Scam Alert.....My car was failed for a Missouri State Inspection because "the wiper blades were cracked but we can replace them for $27.95". Seriously?.....so I tell that story to my neighbors and come to find out that they did the same thing to the gal up the street. June/2015 was the wettest month in recorded history in the STL area.....I would think that if the wipers were bad I'd know it. So I change out the wipers in the parking lot and go inside to tell the guy I've changed them out.....the manager confronts me and tells me I had a "bad attitude while changing out the wiper blades". I tell my neighbors this and come to find out they did the same thing to her. In short, in order to maximize profits they tried to gig me for another $20 by failing my car and they are doing it to other people in the area. I have 4 cars.......and would have taken all of them there for routine service but there is no way in the world I'll set foot in this place again. read more

Absolutely terrible service. There has been multiple instances where they have treated women in my family poorly. In one instance a manger used scare tactics to intimidate younger car owners. My wife was taken advantage of over the phone. The worker was asking to install parts that have already been changed. She said she would ask me (her husband) if it was okay to install the parts, and the worker then admitted that they have already been installed. I do not plan on giving Firestone any of my business in the future. read more

He was kind, polite and took time to explain everything to me, not pressuring me to buy one tire over another. This store was clean and yet quit busy on a Saturday. Mark was the best.
