His son then paced behind our car with a hood on to intimidate us into moving. I told him I would move our car over while my wife took our daughter into the bathroom to clean up. Inside the store he began to bang on the door and yell at my wife to get out of the bathroom. When she was finished he was outside the door waiting for my wife and 4 year old daughter yelling that bathrooms were for his customers only. She felt so threatened and scared in protecting our daughter that she ran from him out to our car. He followed her out of the store and approached me at our car and told us to get off of his property. This escalated quickly over absolutely nothing. It was unprovoked and scary. The parking space in question was unmarked, not marked as a loading zone, employee space or a reserved space. We never ended up getting gas from them and have since reported it. It is scary that there are so many other reviews like this. I am shocked that Mobil let's them use their name with this reputation.

Irving is pretty good and is my 2nd choice for gas in the area. The onsite convenience store is named "Red Lantern" and not the typical "Circle K" like most of the Irving's have. I did not go in the store this time but will update here another time. I did notice that this Irving's gas is a few cents more than the other Irving down on Rt 28.

But today, the prices on the pump clearly showed regular at 3.25.9 per gallon. When I looked at the display on the pump, it showed 3.29.9 per gallon. I went in and they did give me my 35 cents back. But how many customers didn't notice this and paid the extra money. At the end of the day, Irving did quite well. I'm sure they did hundreds, if not thousands of sales. Multiply it by 4 cents a gallon. Hey, as a retiree, it's better in my pocket than theirs. And besides, gasoline on the east coast went down by 4 cents a gallon.

She came over and basically demanded our credit card and told us we should not have been at this pump because it's too far away from the office as she couldn't see us, the rule is to stop at the first available pump. She was incredibly rude and made us feel like we had broken some unstated rule about gas stations. Never going back again, needless to say. Doesn't even deserve one star.
