If you can avoid coming to this location during rush hour times, that would be recommended. The spots are small and the parking lot is difficult to get in/out of. The Alterations by Amber Dry Cleaners is relatively small. There is one register. I brought in both pants and the gentleman said that the pants would be ready in 5 business days. There wasn't a rush on the order, so, I was good with that turn-around. The [2] pair of pants hemming cost $10.00. Both of my work pants came out great. I've had the pants now for several weeks now and the hemming hasn't come undone yet. Price is great and there was quick customer service! If I need hemming work to be done again, I'll return here in the future.

I first brought in two pairs of jeans and a pair of cashmere lounge pants -- and they did such an excellent job that I've been back multiple times since. They've added elastic to the sleeves of a very expensive winter coat, hemmed several pairs of slacks and jeans, and taken in both the legs and waistbands of other pants. Every piece has come back fitting beautifully. Lisa is thorough, kind, and incredibly helpful. She takes the time to make sure everything fits just right, and the pricing is very reasonable. If you take your clothes on a Saturday, clothes will be available for pick-up on Tuesday after 5:00. It's important to note, I've never taken any comforters or stained clothing that need extra TLC. I generally take my husbands jeans, work shirts and sweaters. Occasionally I sneak in a couple casual dresses and for the most part I can say, I'm happy with the service for my everyday clothing. However, I can't say I feel confident about dropping off my special pieces of clothing. For example, I do not use this location for my husbands suits, my gowns and comforters. I feel these types of clothing are more elaborate and should be taken to a specialist/someone who holds more expertise and can explain the cleaning process in detail.
