Her tone was very off putting. I let her know I needed hemming on 2 pieces of workout wear and then she said it would cost $35 each! That is insane to me. I understand prices go up but $35 to hem pant legs is absolutely ridiculous to me. I can understand if it's multiple layers to hem but wow. Anyway, I was disappointed to say the least but I guess with her attitude of not wanting to help me in the first place, it worked out because I left. I will be going elsewhere for any future dry cleaning needs and/or hemming services.

TL;DR: $6 to launder one shirt. 'Nuff said…read more I'm in town for 6 weeks and needed a single dress shirt laundered. This place has high reviews and is close to where I'm staying, so I dropped off the shirt. Came back 2 days later only to find out that the price was $6. For one shirt. In the DC area where I'm from, I can get 3 shirts laundered for that price. Maybe this place does great work on high-end items; I don't know. But for everyday dry cleaning and laundering, at these prices, I would never come back. Just ... wow.

Unfortunately I had to make 2 trips because our clothes were not done until 5pm. The price was fine. They however gave me a discount for the inconvenience. I will say they are super friendly. Alterations by Amber Dry Cleaners is located on the cross-streets of Farm/Durango, off of the Durango/95 exit. It's located in a small shopping plaza shared by other local businesses such as Dairy Queen, 7-Eleven, Little Caesars and much more. The parking is a little tough here and the spots are limited. If you can avoid coming to this location during rush hour times, that would be recommended. The spots are small and the parking lot is difficult to get in/out of. The Alterations by Amber Dry Cleaners is relatively small. There is one register. I brought in both pants and the gentleman said that the pants would be ready in 5 business days. There wasn't a rush on the order, so, I was good with that turn-around. The [2] pair of pants hemming cost $10.00. Both of my work pants came out great. I've had the pants now for several weeks now and the hemming hasn't come undone yet. Price is great and there was quick customer service! If I need hemming work to be done again, I'll return here in the future.
