This place has high reviews and is close to where I'm staying, so I dropped off the shirt. Came back 2 days later only to find out that the price was $6. For one shirt. In the DC area where I'm from, I can get 3 shirts laundered for that price. Maybe this place does great work on high-end items; I don't know. The day before my daughters 26th birthday. January 23rd, 2024. I dropped off my dress shirt and a couple of my daughter's items for her Birthday dinners with me and her boyfriend. The customer service was amazing to be honest. I typically use a different dry cleaners. However I needed everything done the day of her birthday January 24th. I was told over the phone that I could bring everything in & it would get prepped for in the morning. My clothes would be done at 3:30 pm. Unfortunately I had to make 2 trips because our clothes were not done until 5pm. The price was fine. They however gave me a discount for the inconvenience. I will say they are super friendly. They know their customers by first name. It seems to be a good family oriented business. Although it was unfortunate for the inconvenience. I've given Best One Cleaners many chances to prove they are better than 1 star and they have not. I bought in a long skirt to have hemmed and they took measurements and it was going to be just above the knee. When I came to pick it up it ended up being 4 inches shorter and I could not wear such a short skirt. I ended up donating it so that was $30 down the drain plus the cost of the skirt. Many months later I thought I could at least bring some shirts to be dry cleaned and sadly they screwed that up too. I didn't notice this until recently when my husband was going to try on one of the shirts and it had a brown burnt stain mark on it that was not there before. Please see photos below that show how they ruined my husbands garment. This shirt wasn't even that old and it was ruined and can't be replaced and more money down the drain and no clothes. I seriously do not recommend this dry cleaning service. At this point I rather drive 20 minutes away to a reputable dry cleaner than waste money here again. At the end of both of these transactions, I'm left with wasting money and unwearable items. This is not a good place to bring your clothing for any of the services mentioned above. Do your research and pick a place that knows what they are doing. read more

The folks that run this place are very kind and I give them a full 5 stars based on customer experience and them being friendly. The price point is pretty bad though in my opinion. Paying $25 to have 3 short sleeve button up shirts washed prices them out of me going back there again. I found this cleaners as I was in the area, the young lady when I went in was so very sweet. The alterations lady wasn't. I needed my work uniform pants hemmed up. I left and then I went back in because I needed to make sure they hemmed them with a 1 inch hem. I showered her with my fingers. She said okay. I went and picked them up on Thursday. The young lady wasn't there, another lady was. I asked to try them on, she wasn't that happy. It was the alterations lady. I also asked for a receipt and she didn't know how to fix the machine. She handed me the paper that was on my pants. I tried them on. I left. I got home and looked at the hem. It was 1/2 inch. I am not happy and there isn't enough material now to make them the 1 inch I asked for in the first place. First time and last time I will go in. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. read more

They RUINED 6 of our custom-made dress shirts. Despite being a very nice family, I have to report this. It started subtly, with James contacting me that they found a small rip in the back of 1 dress shirt. Then another... note: my husband wore them both to work the day before they were dropped, so we were caught off guard with the notifications. Then the 3rd - a rip on the left elbow of a light blue shirt. I had looked the shirt (and other items) over before handing in, based on being skeptical about previous rips. Then, 3 weeks later, handed in 8 dress shirts (this time I took a video of the shirts, showing no defects whatsoever- was notified 4 days later that 3 of them (2 light blue/1 light brown checked) had the EXACT SAME TEAR in the EXACT SAME PLACE in the left elbow (also same exact place as the one 3 weeks ago!) My husband wears a suit every day - there is no way that these rips happened through his suit. When I confronted James to explain that I had examined these shirts thoroughly and took pre-drop pictures, he wouldn't even allow me to speak. Total lack of taking responsibility. Anyone can see that this is happening somewhere along his processes for cleaning the light dress shirts. So, over $1,200 later, we will be be letting the courts handle from here - as I told James, "we just can't afford to be your customer any longer". Hope this helps someone else from the frustration. If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. I dropped my wedding dress off to get cleaned here. She told me it was going to be $180, which I thought sounded a little high but was willing to pay the right price if they really are the "best ones" she told me it would be ready in ten days. I went back ten days later, my dress was done, but now with damage done to it. She told me that they must've had a sticker on the back that they "tried to get out, but couldn't" she showed me exactly where it was. Me being the bride, I don't ever remember seeing a sticker, or any kind of mark on the dress. That's obviously something I would've noticed when buying my dress for my big day. Not knowing any better I just assumed they had tried their best to get it out but it was something that was really stuck. I then paid the $180, took the dress and left. The next day I decided to take it into David's bridal where I had originally bought it from to complain to them about the supposed "sticker mark" I spoke with the manager of David's bridal, she informed me that they never ever put any kind of sticker on their dresses for that exact reason. The manager told me it looked like the cleaners had actually pressed starch into my dress causing the mark. She took it into the back to see what she could do. She ended up calling me back about 10 minutes later and was able to get the stain out with a toothbrush and some shout! She also showed me another spot that had the same exact mark and was able to get that one out as all. Come to find out it was starch from the cleaners, and they were just trying to blame their mistake on someone else instead of owning up to their mistake! I will never go back to this cleaners again, and have been telling all my friends about this place to spread the word. I came in needing an alteration on a dress after having a botched job at another seamstress. My dress was very short and uneven (shorter in the back than it was on the front). I honestly thought my dress was done for. After explaining the issue over the phone, they told me I could come right in to take a look. Upon arriving, the staff was very friendly and kind. The seamstress was very knowledgeable and quickly came up with a plan on how to fix the problem. I left so happy and confident that my dress was in good hands. The next day, we were contacted by James and asked if I could come in to see if I needed some adjustments. I tried on the dress and it was perfect! Got my daughter's cheer uniform altered here and was super happy with the fit! I'm a person who doesn't skimp on alterations but they can add up. If you aren't familiar with the quality needed to alter clothes, you might end up paying premium prices for a single stitch meaning it's not the same quality needed to last machine washes. At best (depending on the garment), you will want it surged. Surprisingly a lot of people will overcharge for alterations even if very simple. I was elated to pay under $20 for her her total alterations! Not only was priced reasonably but they could also get the alterations done in a matter of days. Love this place! read more

I called and asked for a price for a jacket. When I dropped it off they told me they cannot tell me a price (what a business is this?) and somebody would text me with the price which turned out to be 50% more than what I was quoted on the phone. I asked them to honor the price quoted over the phone and they refused, after which I agreed to their higher price as I needed the items urgently. They then refused to accept my items and said they just do not want to clean them. I drove 30 min to drop them off (because they were supposed to be the best cleaners) 30 min back, and then I had to drive another 1h there and back to pick up my clothes.
