You have new hours posted on your door since April but your website states otherwise. Thank you for the wasted trip and now I can start taking my cleaning elsewhere. I'll be posting this on yelp as well. I arrived at 6:01 pm to find out you close at 6pm and not 7 pm as your website advertised. The clerk came out 6 minutes later to tell me they were closed. Stopped by the following morning to pick up my cleaning. The manager apologized and stated that employees have the authority to stay over and assist regular customers, so the incident should not have happened. I was not charged for my cleaning and was told the employee will receive additional training so it won't happen again. So I will continue using Al Philips, as it's good to be remembered as a regular customer. read more

I was having a horrible day. I had a plumbing leak the night before and the plumber had to cut into my drywall to try an. I was stressed out because the day was super hectic. To top it off, my dryer broke. I had a laundry basket full of wet clothes and no way to dry it. I went into this location and asked how much it would cost to do a fluff and fold. When I came back in an hour, everything was dried and folded neatly. The staff even offered to do everything for free because they sympathized with my shitty day. Untrained & unprofessional staff. Full of mistakes, yet unapologetic & quick to blame other employees. I pull up & hand over my ticket. Pointing to the ticket & smirking he says, "I'm gonna need your last name & last 2 phone digits. Nobody wrote your info down so we don't know which clothes are yours. There's a chance they were never done!" Look, there's no better way to make a guy (about to leave for a 2week business trip) more angry than by telling him that he doesn't have any pants to travel with. Be professional & make an apology; don't mock your customers. Then to top it off upon return, he follows up with, "Can you check if these are yours, cuz my co-worker didn't do his job!" Grow up kid and represent your company. I don't care WHO did it, you all work there so YOU ALL DID IT as far as your customers are concerned. Passing the buck just makes you look like a weasel. Simply put, this place needs to train their staff on being accountable. ***Adding to original review. Upon return, staff & management were very apologetic. Had the front button on a pair of pants replaced. Upon arriving to the store one of the employees met me at the door to hold it open and promptly wrote out a service ticket. Upon pick-up they returned my pants with a new button and had cleaned said pants too - no charge! Thanks! read more

Horrible customer service. My husband and I averaged $300/month in dry cleaning services and always used Al Philips. I had just purchased two new sweaters and dropped them off with the rest of the load (still had the tags on them). Not only did they lose these 2 articles of clothing, they also lost a third sweater. They were extremely unhelpful, even after I gave them a copy of my receipt. I attempted to contact their Regional Manager on multiple occasions, only to be given excuses as to why she had not returned my calls. I finally contacted their corporate office, and shortly after, I was offered a $20 refund and $30 in free dry cleaning services (via gift card). Not only did this not cover the cost of the 3 missing articles, it was insulting. I will NEVER use Al Philips again and I urge you to do the same. read more

Well no wonder their ratings are so low. I came here because the location is convenient. I dropped off an item on 9/10 and was told it would be ready 9/12. I asked when that day and I was told to come anytime. I go in on the day I'm told around 3pm and the girl is confused and saying she can't find my item. She then leaves me waiting in my car while she talks to another customer inside. I walk in to see what the hold up is and I'm then told it's not ready until after 6pm. I ask why I wasn't told that when I dropped off and they had no answer of course. So I come back the next day to get my item. It was a down comforter. The first thing I notice is that's it's super wrinkly. I ask the girl if this is normal and she says next time go ask them to steam or iron it. I ask if this is an extra charge and she says "no it's included." Ok then why did I just pay $41 to have this item cleaned and they can't even make it wrinkle free?! I will never use Al Philips and again and you shouldn't either. I'm sure there are places where they are way more competent. read more

I haven't dry cleaned much in the past few years so I was a bit tentative to start. I had three dealings with three different employees (1 phone, 1 drop off and 1 pick up) in the last few days. I am so pleased with the level of friendliness and customer service every time. My order was perfect so the quality of the service also exceeded my expectation. What a ripoff! I brought the pajama top from a pair of Nordstrom pajamas to patch a hole in the sleeve. She told me $12 which I felt was a little high because it was a 15 minute job. When I went to pick up it was utter confusion. The credit card machine was broken and it was just chaos! The patch they applied was only 5" x 4" and they charged me $15.80. They completely ignored my complaint about the size of the patch which won't last a month. Goodbye Al, I'll find a seamstress who is better suited. read more

My washer broke and I am leaving town soon, so I brought my laundry in for their fluff and fold service. They told me it would be ready Monday, but when I went in on Tuesday afternoon, it wasn't there. I had to go back again Tuesday evening. When I opened the package, everything was wrinkled, like it had sat for hours. Not wrinkled from folding, but wrinkled through. I had to put everything in the dryer to fluff it. I just paid $40. The lady Karli, was very rude and very unprofessional. I had pulled up and she took her sweet time to come out and help me. She had me wait 7mins, after making me wait 7 mins she didn't even bother to apologize. When I came back to pick up my stuff she was still very rude to me. She had thrown my underwear away and when I asked her about it she bold face lied to me. I recommend that you do not go to this specific location, only due to her lack of customer service. read more
