Six of us trekked to this place on a rainy Saturday, and it was a real crazy journey getting there as it happened when both the metro and tram we were on had disruptions due to roadworks going on. But the warmth of service and the excellent food made the hour's journey so worth it. Also, it was a mini-Yelp event as Lauren A. was also included in our dinner party!! So between the six of us we got x 3 meter long half & half pizzas, drinks, desserts and coffee. Mum and I split a vegetarian and a "Mamma" pizza - I made this choice based on previous Yelper's recommendations to try the Friarelli (which for me tasted like wild mustard greens rather than the broccoli described in another review) and it was delicious, especially with the spicy salami. We also shared a 1 litre of the house red and got a bottle of water. Towards the end of the meal, folks got coffee and I split a Tiramisu 3-ways. So I gotta say, I am not really a Tiramisu kinda gal, but the Tiramisu here really blew me away and I would totally get it again. I loved the firmness of the sponge, the alcohol taste was just right, the cream tastes fresh and rich, and then the best part - it was beautiful presented with lovely earthy chocolate syrup, lavishly spread out over the plate - I licked that plate half clean! We could not finish our pizza, so got take-away boxes and then the 4 of us who were splitting a separate bill, got a great surprise as cost was under €25 per person, so absolute bargain! It was a totally lovely evening with great food and totally hope to come back and try other pizzas!

Their signature pie is the Bismarck- tomato, mozzarella, ham and a fried egg cracked in the middle. It's like a breakfast pizza for the gods. BTW- they'll tell you their pizzas are personal-sized, i.e. for one person. But unless you're just coming off a fast, you could probably split one between two people. Also, be prepared for them to laugh and yell "COCA-COLA!!" when you order a coke. I have no idea why, but it's pretty funny.

The lady who runs it is a no bullshit kinda gal, so order quick and fast. No tap water here, you will have to order still water in a glass bottle. If you bring your own water you have to keep it on the floor or hide it. But you should order the water there. The pasta is very good as well, it was the pasta with jambon ( ham) champignons ( mushrooms) and cream sauce. SOO GOOOOD!! The pizza is why most people come, and I see why. You're getting a real artisanal pizza, no Chicago deep dish, or Pizza Hut pizza here. They use the best ingredients. I would recommend trying the buffalo mozzarella margarita pizza.

A delightful meal including fun teasing by the wait staff how Americans always order Chianti--we didn't :) Can recommend the Scampi appetizer as well as the entrée of Linguini with Lobster and Basil. Perfecto! I'm not a dessert person, but I would save room for desserts (see pics) Small gripe: ordered a gin martini and got a gin and tonic. It's okay. I've come to accept the difficulty of ordering a true martini in this country. Serving a martini must be an unnatural act. Overall, good value in wine. Tip I: Restaurant has its own parking lot but not on the website as best I can tell...so call for directions. Otherwise parking in area of Zaventem train station is tight. Tip II: Closed Sunday, also not on website. While were we there in November, I notice inviting outdoor seating in season. Will return.

I travel to Brussels for work and made a point to stop in here on my next visit. When you walk in, the smell of the food is immediate and appetizing. The tables are a bit close and it can be a bit tight to get around, but I also felt this is part of its charm. My friend and I split a bruschetta. It was delicious, but a little pricy for what it was. I enjoyed the veal parmigiana for taste, but it was delivered to the table slightly cold. The red sauce and fettuccine that came with it was delicious. My friend had the linguine and clams and he seemed to enjoy it very much. The pizzas around us looked delicious too. We both enjoyed a glass of the pinot nero, but I didn't think it was that great of a wine. I would have no problem going back here, but understanding it's just a slightly above average place with a busy atmosphere and great patio. Seems to be you have to know what to order and arrive with the right expectations. For the price, you may be able to find something nicer.
