The server was patient w our English and our orders were exactly what we thought and were hoping for. The food was wonderful, but you will need to tell the Server at what times you want your food served because Europeans enjoy and eat slowly unlike a majority of us Americans. Fortunately he spoke some French, because the owner/waiter didn't speak any English. The menu was about 8-12 things written on chalkboards and the entire place had a very hole-in-the-wall feel. I got the pappardelle with mushrooms, bacon and blueberries, which was quite good and different. I wouldn't have thought to pair blueberries there and while it didn't blow me away, it was really good and different. The mozzarella with vegetables appetizer we shared was also quite yummy. Felt like I was eating way too much gnocchi and didn't get a lot of diversity. The bacon on top did help a little. The dishes were about 25 a piece, but they definitely tasted homemade. We opted for the bruschetta as a starter and I would've skipped that. The tomatoes were super fresh and the bread was good but the olive oil was playing. Don't think it was worth $10. The wine selection was brilliant. Generally pretty affordable for the quality. Some delicious wines there that night. Love love, love the aesthetic. Is quite handy, I can make a phone call on my way home and then go and pick it up but I think they also deliver. The pizzas are really good and tasty, they have some interesting pizza ideas but if you want something different just let them know your favorite ingredients and you'll have your pizza.
