The place is a family run restaurant, and we had amazing service and food. The pasta was fresh and the variety a plus - but the best pasta on the menu by far is the truffle mushroom pasta. I'm salivating just thinking about it! Make a reservation if possible as the place gets busy!

When we got to the restaurant, we were seated outside promptly. Our waiter was really nice and explained the menu to us. I don't usually like salads, but I felt like I needed some greens after eating heavy Belgian food. We decided to go with the mixed salad with ham, and I'm so glad we did! This salad deserves 5 stars honestly. The dressing was amazing, and the ham added a nice salty touch. For pastas, we got the spaghetti with spicy Calabrian sausage and burrata and the ravioli with osso buco. The pastas were definitely cooked al dente - I preferred the spaghetti. The ravioli had good flavor, but it was sitting in so much oil that I couldn't eat too many. It was a solid meal overall, but I didn't think the pastas were anything life-changing. Great place if you're craving some Italian food though!

Found this little Italian spot on TripAdvisor. We were looking for something cozy, one cold and…read morerainy night and this had exactly the feel we needed. Thought about making reservations, but instead we just got there right when they opened and there would've been no need. Granted it was a work week night, literally for the entire hour we were there only two tables arrived. And I was counting us. Perhaps later you might want a reservation or you might have to wait. There were only about seven or eight tables me entire thing so it's cozy. The one person running the cash register and taking orders, was very kind, but a little distracted on her phone. I wonder if she was doing work. She was very sweet though and gave good recommendations. My friend got the Ragu while I opted for the gnocchi. I actually preferred the Ragu for sure. The meat was tender and delicious, and the noodles were thick and delightful. The gnocchi kind of tasted a little, bland and repetitive. To be honest, I wish we could've shared like five tiny plates. Felt like I was eating way too much gnocchi and didn't get a lot of diversity. The bacon on top did help a little. The dishes were about 25 a piece, but they definitely tasted homemade. We opted for the bruschetta as a starter and I would've skipped that. The tomatoes were super fresh and the bread was good but the olive oil was playing. Don't think it was worth $10. The wine selection was brilliant. Generally pretty affordable for the quality. Some delicious wines there that night. Love love, love the aesthetic. We definitely want to return and try some new things.

We tried calling several times to make a reservation, but no one answered, and we couldn't find any online booking system. It left us wondering--how do people even manage to get a table here? When we arrived, we saw an empty table with no reservation sign on it. However, the chef saw us, came over, and abruptly said, "We're full!" before we could even ask a question, then walked away. One of the staff members also completely ignored us, which felt quite rude and unwelcoming. No matter how good the food might be, this kind of attitude makes us not want to return. They seriously need to improve their reservation system and reconsider how they treat potential customers.

I have been here 3 times now already and the third time has only confirmed the first impression I…read morehad when I first came here. This place is for me the best sushi place as far as quality/price is concerned. The quality of the sushi is just exquisite and definitely equals that of some other restaurants who offer the same freshness and variety but for double the price. Seriously. Nevertheless, it is not only about the sushi. The restaurant offers a separate menu with the house suggestions presenting different kinds of Japanese appetizers that are really delicious and so ... Japanese. The best way to enjoy these appetizers is to order a bunch of them and share them. The last time I went there, my friends and I had the squid carpaccio (in a citrusy juice), agedashi tofu (fried to perfection), eggplant in miso sauce (I'm not a big fan of eggplant, but this dish was a game-changer), layered eggplant with beef (very tasty) and an assortment of tempura (not greasy at all and crusty until the end of our meal). We wanted to order the o-toro (fatty tuna) sashimi as well, but they don't have that one on Mondays, which means I will have to come back. But I don't see that as a problem, :). After our appetizers, we continued our meal with some sushi and sashimi. As already mentioned earlier, exquisite. As far as the place itself is concerned. Well, let's say it makes you feel in a small sushi joint in Japan. The place is small - but cozy -, so reservation is recommended. There is no AC, but only a couple of fans working in times of warm weather, definitely gives it a local feeling. On some days, it can be filled with Japanese people who really know how to enjoy their food, which makes you really feel as if you were in Japan for a little bit. Another nice factor is that you can order a bottle of shoju and leave it there with your name if you weren't able to finish it, so you can continue the next time you come again. Neat, isn't it? So, to conclude, there is definitely nothing that would stop me from going there again. Ok, I forgot to mention that the waiter can come off as a little bit arrogant. However, once you start chatting with him, he is unstoppable. :). The chef on the other hand doesn't say much, but I blame that on the fact that he's very concentrated behind the sushi bar, so no big deal. Can't wait to go there again.
