Guevara's cut the steaks in the morning for our early evening dinner. The meat was absolutely great. I'd checked prices at other meat markets people had suggested. Prices were about what you'd expect, nothing crazy. The desserts were just as solid--very tasty and a great way to wrap things up. Our waitress was super nice and always nearby if we needed anything, without hovering. Overall, a great spot to swing by even if you're just going for drinks and dessert. Definitely worth it.

The young woman at the counter (there is no table service) asked if I wanted BBQ sauce with that. Thinking it would be some kind of take on a Mexican BBQ sauce, I agreed. Honestly, I think it was Great Value Original BBQ sauce. There was nothing else, just several pieces of fatty brisket and BBQ sauce rolled up in a tortilla. If it was more than one inch in diameter, I would be surprised. My friend used their fountain drink dispenser to get his drink, but when it came out, he told me he wasn't sure what he got. I don't want to tell you what I think it looked like.

I believe it is an old home that is converted to a restaurant, the old wooden floors are sort of worn and a bit uneven which gives it lots of character. We were told to sit anywhere and a server soon came with menus and took drink orders. She was all dressed up for the holidays with cute little floppy reindeer antlers on her head and an apron with snowmen on it. My wife was in the mood for eggs as we had skipped breakfast so she had an omelet, hash browns and cinnamon raisin toast. It was perfect and she enjoyed every bite. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of their sweet potato fries which were crispy and hot from the fryer. The place is cute inside, lots of cute things on the walls like old photos, signs and even a big Santa Clause for the holidays. What's more I used the men's room and it was super clean which always tells me how good a restaurant is and that they most likely keep a clean kitchen!
