I 100% agree with the first review. I tried El Margem because all the other restaurants were either packed or aggressively huckstering passers by. All tables but one were empty when I arrived, which I thought was a bad sign. But I was tired & hungry so I went for it. I'm so glad I did, because this place is the real deal. I got the seafood rice (without having read the first review) because it was on my bucket list and WOW was it perfect! Other places use broken angel hair pasta instead of rice, but these guys served me perfectly al dente arborio rice. Mussels, clams and shrimp were fresh and delicious. The light tomato base had cilantro in it, which I loved. It was served in a hot clay pot and was filled to the rim (& I happily ate every last bit.) I also got a mixed salad, which was fresh and large. Bread wasn't great, but everything else was exactly perfect. I'd go again for sure and hope you do, too! read more
