I'm very pleased with the service and thoroughness I received regarding a subterranean termite issue. Jonathan provided a thorough inspection and specific details on approaching the infestation. The process took about four hours and Jonathan cleaned up afterward leaving the home as it was before the treatment (my wife is very particular about our home's appearance). I thought I had Termites. Serviceman arrived on time and was very friendly. He checked in the attic and all around my home. NO TERMITES. He said I saw an ant swarm. NO CHARGE for the service. I will call this company again if I do need any type of pest control. read more

3 minutes ago-Edit Very unfortunate experience. I had an infestation of a specific type of ant. They sent out who is apparently the only employee who services my area (Palm Aire). He treated the infestation and suggested the problem should be completely gone within three days. He offered a one time charge of $125 or a service contract of $75 every three months ($300 per year). I opted for the service contract which presumably includes any call-backs required to solve a problem. A week later, my infestation was still a problem. He came back, re-applied, and assured me there would be no way the problem wasn't solved. One week later, which was two weeks after his first visit, the problem still occurred. I called the office and suggested they either send a more experienced person or give me a refund so I could work with someone else. They promised to send another tech within one to two days, and this tech would call right away to schedule. It is now yet another week later (three weeks since the original treatment), the infestation is as bad as it was on day one, and I am still waiting for that call. I will now have to fight for a refund which they probably will refuse so that I can spend the money with a different exterminator who will hopefully get results and stand behind their work. Update: I had to call over and over to request a refund. In each case my calls weren "passed to the manager Diane" but not returned. It was only after catching the manager answering the phone herself, on multiple occasions, that they finally agreed to issue a refund check, which I did receive. These are not bad people; they are not crooks, and I would not even say they are incompetent. But they are lacking a passion for customer service; when they are unable to perform as promised, they should be the force that follows up and strives to make it right; instead, once things wen't wrong, they became unresponsive and "hard to reach". Came out last week and randomly left a bill which didn't state what was done. Never called ahead of time to inform us they were coming. We have an ant problem and wanted to address the issue to them. We were told Clint would be giving us a call to come out no charge to address the problem. Never got a call. I ended up calling the office two days later and got a voice mail. I left my name and number and again told them the problem. Two days later still NO call back from anyone. Unacceptable customer service. Will NOT be using them. read more

If I could give a negative 5 star rating, I would. Al Harris brags about being #1, but apparently that is to himself, & his pocket book, not his customers. This experience is the worst I have ever had in dealing w a company in Sarasota. My family has been here & have owned businesses since the 1950s, to give you a bit of perspective on the severity of this review. Personally, I am a 2nd generation real estate broker in Sarasota. I have sent Al Harris countless customers in my nearly 20 years of practice. Most recently, I sold a home in the Lake Club in 2011, & just sold it again in 06/2016. I managed to keep the account for Al Harris w the new owners. Surely, not a bad account to have $ wise for 6 yrs+. How have I been thanked? Well, I needed work at my house that I plan to put up for sale ASAP. They didn't do the job, won't make good on the price 2 people quoted me, one verbal, one in writing. They left me with a mess. They told me I was a liar. No integrity. Never called me back & their techs hung up on me. Buyer beware! read more

I was very disappointed in Al Harris. We bought a new home (to us) and was told by Harris that there were rodent droppings but not recent (he said he pinched them and they were old). Then we sold our other home and were told there were rodent droppings. I ask if they were recent and a different inspector said there is no way to tell if they are recent and we had to pay for rodent remediation at a price of $500, We were told that this would involve closing an access points and setting traps, which would be monitored weekly for four weeks. The access points were supposedly closed and the traps were set. Harris came our one time and said there were no rodents in the traps....and we never heard from them again. read more

We came across Justin while he was doing a job in our neighborhood and what a blessing it was. We had a huge wasp problem on our vacant property and bugs inside the house. Justin came right over gave us a great price and scheduled to come the next day to take care of our immediate wasp situation. We were so pleased with his work we signed a yearly contract with him. We liked his work ethic so much we highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable, honest and a super nice guy. read more
